"What?"

"Six Vagrant cultivators?"

"Of course, we do,"

As soon as Udo finished asking his question, except for Ajax, everyone in the room was shocked and many of them nodded their heads as though they knew about them.

'Six Vagrant cultivators? Who are they?'

As for Ajax, he didn't have the slightest idea about who they were and what they did to be known by others.

Elder Boron had told him various stories; however, there was nothing about Six vagrant cultivators in them. So, he didn't know about them.

'Six vagrant cultivators are the six individual cultivators that shook the entire Zrochester province with their powers and even the top powers didn't want to fight them unnecessarily because they knew that even if they win against them, they will lose many on their side,'

Looking at Ajax's 'I don't know' back, Lewis, Ajax's guide from the beginning, explained about the six vagrant cultivators through the voice transmission.

'Huh? So they are that powerful,'

Ajax understood why all the young cultivators in the main hall nodded their heads with excited faces.

'Yes. Everyone, including Captain Edmond and vice-captain Udo respected those six vagrant cultivators and hoped to become as strong as them,' Lewis pointed at Edmond and Udo before saying his words.

Ajax's sight followed Lewis' finger and saw the respected tone when they asked the question about six vagrant cultivators.

'Hm'

Ajax nodded his head as he understood how much those six vagrant cultivators were respected by the cultivators in the main hall.

"Good," Udo nodded his head in satisfaction before saying, "Captain Edmond managed to gain a favour of one of the six vagrant cultivators and he was given a chance to send all the talented young cultivators under him to participate in a test conducted by those six vagrant cultivators."

Udo took a small breath before looking at Edmond as though he was hinting him to complete his speech.

"What?"

"Aren't they already dead?"

"Godfather also said they are all dead twenty years ago,"

Before Edmond could say anything, the main hall was filled with puzzled faces because according to the residents of the Zrochester province, those six vagrant cultivators were disappeared twenty years ago and as the time passed all assumed they were dead.

So, when they heard Udo's words, they were shocked and at the same time, they asked many questions to both Edmond and Udo.

'Greetings, young master,'

While the main hall filled with many questions, Darbaudr silently walked towards Ajax and greeted him.

"Hello, Darbaudr,"

"Everyone, calm down,"

All of a sudden, Edmond shouted at the young cultivators that were continuously asking questions.

As soon as they heard Edmond's loud yell, everyone in the main hall suppressed their curiosity about the six vagrant cultivators and became silent.

"I know what you are thinking. Until a couple of hours, I felt the same thing; however, we are wrong and the six vagrant cultivators are very much alive," 

Once the main hall became silent, Edmond started clarifying the doubts in the young cultivator's minds.

Even though everyone had many questions after Edmond's words, no one dared to make any noise in the main hall because they knew that if they made any noise, they would be kicked out of the main hall.

So, they continued to suppress their curiosity and waited for Edmond to completely finish his announcement.

"More importantly, you met one of the six vagrant cultivators many times," Edmond revealed a small smile as he waited for the young cultivators to come to reality.

'What? We met a vagrant cultivator?'

'How is that possible?'

'Father said, I met him multiple times. I wonder who he is?'

Even though they didn't dare to ask questions to Edmond, that doesn't mean they could not use voice transmission to discuss with others.

Edmond and Udo know that they were discussing through voice transmission and allowed them to do that as they wanted to feel what they felt when they knew the truth about the Vagrant cultivators.

"He is none other than our 'Legeneray Mercenary' and the owner of the mercenary guild, the guild master,"

After waiting for a moment, Edmond slowly revealed the identity of one of the vagrant cultivators.

"What?"

"No wonder, he is the vagrant cultivator,"

"Wait a second. The guild master established the mercenary guild only after the disappearance of the six vagrant cultivators. So, he must be one of them,"

As soon as they heard Edmond's words, they were shocked for a moment, then in the next moment, they were convinced when they connected the dots of disappearance of the six vagrant cultivators and appearance of the guild master.

"So, coming to the point, in a week, all of you are going through some trials and those who qualify those trials, they will be selected as their personal disciples,"

Edmond was somewhat dissatisfied when he saw that his adopted children and others were only shocked for a moment before nodding their heads as though they knew about the guild master all along. So, he directly came to the point and revealed the reason why they had called all of them to the main hall.

After hearing Edmond's words, there was no response from the young cultivators which made Edmond and Udo frown because this was not what they expected.

"Do you understand what I just said?"

Edmond thought something was wrong with all the young cultivators and shouted at them.

'Yells��

'Shouts'

As though they became mad, all the young cultivators except for Ajax shouted and yelled at their loudest.

"Phew.."

Edmond heaved a sigh of relief when he saw those actions and revealed a smile on his face.

"They must have been shocked when they heard your words. So they are not able to shout at first," Udo gave a reason for the silence of the young cultivators when they heard they were participating in the trials of the six vagrant cultivators to become their disciple.

"However, there is one odd one, who is not excited even a tiny bit as others,"

Pointing at Ajax, Udo said to Edmond while shaking his head.

"We already knew how capable and talented he is. So, there is no wonder he didn't feel as excited as others. No to mention the many secrets he carries with him," Edmond continued, "You can stop worrying about Ajax. He is definitely not a demonic cultivator and with the monster peach he had to given to me, he actually helped me close a year or two in completing my mission."

After observing Ajax for many days, Edmond more or less knew about Ajax's character. So, he asked Udo to stop worrying about Ajax.

"That can't do," Udo shook his head before asking, "You wanted to ask Ajax some questions when we are in the cursed wilderness and even he agreed to answer your questions. So, ask about his secret behind multiple breakthroughs."

Udo revealed a cunning smile on his face when he said those words to Edmond.
