Chapter 614: Soul Grimoire

After seeing how Necros killed one of the undead assassins even before he could break through to the Elemental spirit general realm, Ajax's previous helplessness had disappeared and he became excited while walking towards Slait and others.

Because, with the recent breakthrough, Ajax had nothing to worry about.

At the same time, he looked focused on Necros' new skill which he awakened after the breakthrough into the spirit general realm.

Ajax was still a couple of meters away from Slait and others. So, he asked the system to show the information on the skill.

Skill name:- Soul Grimoire (Level 1)

Use:- With this skill, the user can collect the souls of the dead beings in a Grimoire and order them around as he likes.

Number of souls:- 0/10

Note:- 1) The user can only collect the souls from the dead beings of exactly one major realm higher than himself.

2) Souls can only have 50 percent of their battle prowess from when they are alive.

Description:- An ancient book that holds the souls of the dead.

Soon a huge holographic screen appeared in front of him with the complete details of the skill that made Ajax stop in his tracks.

'Another nice skill,' Ajax unconsciously smiled from ear to ear as he read the entire information a couple of times.

From the beginning, all the skills that Necros had were very good and suitable to him.

Not only that, all of them were very powerful.

'It's time to collect the souls for his soul grimoire,' 

Soon, Ajax resumed his walk towards Slait as he turned back to see Necros and the 11 undead assassins who were still not attacking as though they were waiting for something.

'Looks like Necros will have his own army in the future,'

Ajax glanced at the undead assassins as he silently thought to himself as he finally reached others.

Because Ajax thought that Necors would add those undead assassins into his Soul Grimoire. 

'If it was not possible or he didn't want to take them into the soul grimoire, it is his choice,' Ajax didn't bother much about it as he knew Necro was wise enough to make his own decisions.

"Ajax, when did you get that elemental spirit?"

"It's is cool and powerful"

"Are you hiding some more elemental spirits?"

As soon as he reached them, Lewis and Jeff started their non-stop questions and rumbling about Necros.

'Haha'

However, Ajax didn't answer a single question as he replied to them with a smile as he sat down with a relaxed expression on his face.

Seeing that they didn't get an answer to any of their questions, they became speechless and wanted to force him to answer their questions.

'Boom'

However, just when they wanted to pester Ajax for answers, they heard a loud booming sound which diverted their attention from Ajax to Necros.

In the distance, all the 11 undead assassins rushed at Necros from all the sides and threw some small black bombs at him which blasted the entire area that Necros was standing.

"What happened?"

"The firepower of those explosives are very high,"

"Is he fine?"

Except for Ajax, everyone watching the scene in front of them were anxiously waiting for the black smoke from the explosion to disappear. So that they could see whether Necros was fine or injured.

As for Ajax, he revealed a smile as he got a reply from Necros just before after the explosion and it was 'Master, within one minute, this will be over.'

At first, Ajax thought he was over exaggerating because Ajax thought it was impossible for Necros to kill all 11 undead assassins in a minute.

Nevertheless, he didn't say anything as he just watched the true fight that was about to begin.

'Huh?'

"Where is that black elemental spirit?"

"Has he dodged the attack or died in that attack into nothingness,"

When the black smoke was cleared, there was no one inside it which made Lewis and others anxious and they hurriedly turned their heads towards Ajax who was leisurely watching the leader of the undead assassins.

"Ajax, what happened?"

"Is your elemental spirit alright?"

Lewis and Jeff asked Ajax because they know that a summoner would know the well being of his elemental spirit.

However, they felt it was just a waste of time after they asked the questions because with the content smile on Ajax's face they knew the black elemental spirit was alright.

"Just watch. Don't miss it,"

Ajax simply revealed a smile as he replied to them before putting his focus on the leader of the undead assassins.

"Damn it...Even with my high cultivation, I am still sitting away from the battle. I guess I am useless no matter how high my cultivation is,"

Levi was somewhat different from the rest of the others because his cultivation had reached level 2 of the elite general realm and even then he felt useless because he was unable to help Ajax earlier.

The current strength he was having because of Ajax. So, when Ajax was in danger earlier, he didn't have enough confidence to save Ajax from the black-robed men making him guilty even after Ajax was not in danger anymore.

"Senior brother Levi, you don't need to worry about it. I was the one that asked Slait to stop you from rushing towards me," Seeing the sad expression on his face, Ajax tried his best to convince Levi before having a guilty conscience was not good for his cultivation.

"Moreover, you only broke through recently and you are yet to learn how to use that strength. Even if you have rushed towards me earlier, it would not have helped any of us. So, don't think much about it," 

After finishing his words, Ajax didn't try to convince Levi anymore because there was nothing he could do when someone blames themselves as they have to stop blaming themselves on their own.
