Chapter 632: Plan C

"What?"

The chief, who was in the transformed state, was shocked to the core when he saw various elemental spirits belonging to fire, life, poison etc.

Among the elemental spirits, he didn't summon Slait because he didn't bring him from the mercenary squad residence as he was sure that he would not use Slait in any case.

Along with the elemental spirits, there were spirit beasts of various sizes with different elements.

Compared to the elemental spirits, there were more spirit beasts in that place.

Not only in numbers but in terms of power, the spirit beasts were mocking more powerful because of the three times boost from the 'Abyssal beast god bloodline'.

"What are you waiting for? Just finish him. All dark type beings except for Necros can eat him to increase their strength,"

Looking at the elemental spirits and spirit beasts who were looking at him for his order to kill him, Ajax shouted as loud as possible because he was too excited and it was the first time he was using all his summons in the open.

As for why he didn't want Necros to eat him because it would make other Dark-type beings disappointed in him.

'Anyway, Necros already ate the vice-chief in whole. It will take some time for him to digest all the energy from that body,'

Ajax didn't ponder much about it as he looked at Necros, who was still sitting with his eyes closed.

All the elemental spirits rushed at the chief after nodding their heads at Ajax.

As for the spirit beasts, they didn't bother to reply to Ajax as they directly rushed at their single target.

Soon, a fight between an army versus a transformed assassin started.

Just as Ajax turned his head off from the direction of Necros, he got a system notification that gave him quite a shock.

Congratulations to the host's elemental spirit, Necros for successfully breaking through 4 minor realms in the general realm.

'Holy heavens,'

Ajax unconsciously muttered in his mind as he looked at motionless Necros as though he was still absorbing the energy from the vice-chief's body.

'Thinking about it, it should be not shocking to get an increment of four minor realms after absorbing an elite general realm,'

However, his shock didn't last long as shook his head and looked at the fight.

He witnessed a total messy fight when all his elemental spirits and spirit beast surrounded the chief and didn't give him any chance to escape. Moreover, all types of skills like long, medium and short-range attacks.

Darbaudr, Ghost, Black Yetis, Infernal spirit, Volcanis were in the close-range battle and from time to time, Volcanis and Infernal spirit would use some long-range attacks from the close range to give a surprise for the chief.

As for the middle-range, it was taken control by Bane, Golden bears, Lynx and Nite. 

Golden bears and Lynx continuously move from short-range to mid-range depending on the situation.

Coming to the long-range, it must compulsorily have a healer and there comes the life elemental spirit, Spirus. Along with her, Cerauno, Dabrus.

Overall, Ajax's summons were playing one-sided match with the chief.

'Ghost is fully controlling the fight,'

After observing for a few moments, Ajax could easily guess that the reason the fight was one-sided was because of the three-eyed ghost fox.

'No wonder, he could survive in the wilderness of the Shixato region,' Ajax felt lucky that he was able to form a contract with this three-eyed ghost fox.

Compared to other elemental spirits and spirit beasts, the three-eyed ghost fox was not using a single attack move; instead, it was using its teleport to mess with the chief.

No matter how much he tried, the chief was unable to hit the fox that greatly annoyed him.

While he was trying to catch the ghost fox, the other summons were using their strongest attacks to finish him.

'Sigh...looks like I need to train them,'

Looking at the messy fight between his summons and the chief of the assassination circle, Ajax sighed because even though he had numbers, they were not coordinating well with one another which was reducing the total battle power of his summons.

'Ding,

A new mission is generated in the quest tab. Please check.

'Is it regarding the coordination training of my summons? Anyway, let's see whether I am right or wrong,'

Ajax revealed a smile as he guessed the new mission without checking and thought to check the new mission.

'Ding,

Emergency alert.

'Ding,

'Ding,

The system detected a strong opponent coming this way. 

'Ding,

The system suggests the host leave as soon as possible.

Before he could check the details of the new mission, his sight was completely filled with danger signs and the system urged him to leave from the location as soon as possible.

"System, how much time..."

30 seconds till the opponent reaches here.   

Before he could finish his sentence, the system hurriedly replied to him.

"Everyone, kill him within 10 seconds,"

Ajax shouted at his summons to finish the fight within 10 seconds.

"Necros, we need to leave. Help them,"

Next, he looked at Necors, who was still sitting cross-legged to absorb the energy and asked him to help the other summons. 

'Are you sure, master?'

Necros didn't open his eyes as he looked at Ajax through the voice transmission.

"Yes, finish him,"

Ajax didn't have another choice. So, he asked Necros to do something. 

The thing is, even though his summons overpowered the chief, they were still unable to kill him because a natural elite general realm cultivator's body is much stronger and it could endure much damage.

In simpler words, it was very hard for level 1 general realm (Rank 5 for spirit beast) or lower cultivators to kill a level 5 elite general realm within a short time. So, he asked the help of his dark elemental spirit, Necors who could devour anything that was related to dark energy.

"Someone, hold him for a second,"

Necros finally opened his eyes as he said to the other summons.

'Swoosh'

As soon as he said that, 5 huge ghost foxes along with five undead warriors came forward as the cannon fodder to stop the chief for a while.

The chief was already tired and his body was entirely covered with injuries.

Even then he continued to fight the ghost foxes and undead warriors.

'Swoosh'

'Gulp'

Amidst the fight, Necros appeared behind the Chief and swallowed him in a single gulp just like how he did with the vice chief.

'Phew...everyone come back,'

Seeing that Necros was able to swallow the chief without any problem, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief and hurriedly summoned back all the summons including the dragon which was some distance away from them.

'Darbaudr, it's time for plan C,'

Ajax looked at Darbaudr and said to him before he rushed towards Lechner.

'Swoosh'

Similarly, Darbaudr also rushed towards Lechner; however, along with the way, he picked up two assassination statues along with him.

"Hold my hands,"

As soon as he reached them, Darbaudr asked them to hold his hands before muttering something inside his head.

'Swoosh'

Soon, three green coloured talismans appeared in front of him and floated while emitting a green coloured light that increased and surrounded them.

At the exact moment, two things happened that made two 'Swoosh' sounds.

One 'Swoosh' belonged to the disappearance of Ajax and others whereas the other 'Swoosh' belonged to formless energy that was able to take a look at Ajax and others just before they were disappeared.

The formless energy started transforming into a human which looked exactly the same as the leader of the assassin sect, Gerg.

'What did the assassination circle did to him that he wants to destroy it?  And how did he get into touch with such powerful beings?'

The sect leader Gerg was shocked when he saw Lechner with two other masked men.

As for how he knew Lechner because it was the sect leader Gerg himself who gave the dark golden badge to Lechner when he was elevated to the dark gold assassin.

"Looks like the first and second elder messed up something again when I was in my seclusion,"

The sect leader Gerg clenched his fist as he was angered to the point where he wanted to kill the second elder himself; however, his sect needed him.

When he gave the badge to Lechner, he looked very sincere in his profession and even if the assassination circle wants him to give him life for a mission, he would have given it; however, now the one who wanted to give his life to an organization wanted to destroy it. 

'No matter who they did to you Lechner, I am going to kill you and those who helped you,' Nevertheless, the sect leader Gerg was very angry because the main source of income for his assassin sect was now destroyed. So, he had to kill them at any cost to vent his anger.

He continued to wait at the destroyed main building of the assassination circle and after some time a few silhouettes came from the distance.

'Swoosh'

They landed in front of the sect leader Gerg and looked at the rumble all around them.

If their faces were not covered by masks, one could see a mixture of anger and hate on their faces.

"I was unable to reach in time to stop them...sigh,"

While they were looking at the rumble, the sect leader Gerg shook his head as he sighed.
