Chapter 644: Battle Beasts

'System, open the special gift box from the earlier mission,'

While they were flying in the air, Ajax silently asked the system in his mind.

A special gift box is opened.

A special cultivation technique:- 'Battle beasts formation' is found in the special gift box.

Soon, the system opened the special gift box and informed the item in the box.

'Huh?'

Ajax raised his brows as he silently muttered the cultivation technique name and a red-coloured crystal appeared in his hands.

Without wasting any time, Ajax checked its full details.

'Ding,

Item name:- Cultivation technique crystal (Battle beasts formation)

Usage:- Please a crystal in a specific place and the beast cultivated in it will turn into battle beasts.

Note:- 1) Any spirit beast with a bloodline will not be able to cultivate it.

Description:- A valuable item that can increase the battle prowess of the spirit beasts without bloodline and will make them on par with the spirit breasts with the bloodline.

"Holy heavens,"

After reading the complete information of the crystal in his hands, Ajax felt it was a great item.

'With this, I can have an army of the battle beasts...Haha,'

Ajax started laughing as he muttered to himself and looked forward to an army of the beast formation.

Finding a spirit beast with a bloodline is very difficult; however, to find a spirit beast without a bloodline is very easy.

Without any search, Ajax already had two spirit beasts without any bloodline and they were the eagle brothers.

However, he didn't have any thoughts of making them battle beasts as they still have the chance of awakening a bloodline.

'I will try using this after this disciple-selection thing is over,' He didn't want to be hasty in these kinds of things as he wanted to thoroughly think about selecting some spirit beasts to use.

Currently, he doesn't have any time. So, he didn't waste his time searching for other spirit beasts before keeping the crystal back into his inventory.

'Young master, while I was with Captain Edmond and Udo, they talked about some things in voice transmission. I think you should know about it. As it might be useful to you,'

While they were flying back to the squad building, Darbaudr silently transmitted his voice to Ajax.

'Huh? If it is useful, say it,'

Ajax raised his brows as he asked him to say it.

As Darbaudr had a very high affinity with space element, he could hear the voice transmission if he was close to the persons who were using the voice transmission.

Ajax already know it; however, he didn't ask him to spy on Captain Edmond or anyone else.

But, since it might be useful to him, Ajax didn't mind learning it.

'Captain Edmond and Udo were planning to destroy two of the three sects. I highly think they were fire sword sect and assassin set,'

Soon, the barbarian revealed what he learned from their voice transmission.

'What? They are planning to destroy two powerful sects?'

Ajax was shocked when he heard Darbaudr' words and hurriedly asked, 'why do they want to do it?'

There must be a reason for everything. So, he asked whether the barbarian knows about it or not.

"I think it is related to his family or something like that. I am not sure,"

Darbaudr was unable to understand their complete sentence as it was not a direct talk between Edmond and Udo. So, there were still many missing sentences that made him unable to know the exact reason for their motive.

'Okay, leave it. When are they going to attack the sects? If they help me with the assassin sect, I can help them with fire sword sect,'

Ajax finally decided to join them as they were going to destroy the fire sword sect anyway.

According to Ajax, Captain Edmond was much more powerful than he looks. 

The most important thing is he is a summoner with an unknown number of elements, no one knows how strong they were.

So, if Edmond and Ajax were to attack the assassin sect, no one could stop them.

'They didn't have any time as they have some more things to take care of like Udo is still in the general realm and the nine adopted children of Edmond are yet to break through to the general realm,'

Darbaudr shook his head as he gave a couple of reasons why Captain Edmond still didn't start their plan.

'It's just a small thing,' 

After hearing his words, Ajax revealed a small smile on his face as he continued to silently transmit his voice to the barbarian, 'So, how about I fasten the things for their plan.'

Ajax decided to help them speed up their plan. So, that he could also join them in destroying the assassin sect.

Even though he could wait for a couple of years and become stronger before taking revenge on the assassin sect on his own, he didn't want to do that.

All he wanted was to destroy the assassin sect as soon as possible. So, all the burden in his heart would go away along with the sect.

'As you wish, young master,'

Darbaudr knew his young master had many mysterious items in his possession and according to him, Ajax could do the impossible possible.

'Hehe...'

Ajax revealed a smile as he thought, 'Finally, I can start focusing on the mission.'

In the Hazegroove squad building,

"Is everyone ready?"

Edmond's voice resounded in the entire building that made all the young men living in the building immediately rush out of their rooms.

"Yes, Captain Edmond. We are ready,"

As soon as they came out of their room, they replied with serious looks on their faces.

"Good. Let's go now," 

Edmond nodded his head as he headed out of the building along with Udo without turning back his head.

Behind him, all the young men hurriedly followed them.

It was a huge event for them to participate in the 'disciple selection ceremony' conducted by the 'Six vagrant cultivators'. So, of course, they were serious about it and didn't bother Edmond and Udo with many questions as they silently followed behind them.

'Where is Ajax?'

'Is he still sleeping?'

'Someone inform Captain Edmond that he is not here,'

'Why don't you say it?'

After coming out of the building, they noticed that Ajax was not in the group and whispered to themselves.

'Stop worrying about my young master. He will meet us at the mercenary guild,'

While all the young men were whispering to one another, Justice, the ex-assassin sect disciple replied to them in a low tone that made them stop whispering with each other.

"Everyone, where are we going?"

Just when they were about to cross the gate, Edmond stopped and turned back before asking the young men behind him.

"We are going to take some missions from the mercenary guild,"

All the young men, including Levi, Justice and his brother said at the same time with faces full of seriousness.

"Good"

After hearing that, Edmond revealed a smile and started walking towards the mercenary guild.

Behind him, all the young men were also resumed their walking as they were praying heavens that everything would go well for them and get selected as the disciples under 'Six vagrant cultivators
