Chapter 654: Reason behind the excited smiles

Elder Elek nodded his head as he asked the short Dark flame whether he was ready or not.

Before Dark flame could even reply to him, he placed his hand on Dark flame's head.

All the young cultivators were looking at Dark flame to notice any changes in him.

Just like Dark flame, King killer also groaned in pain before revealing an excited smile on his face that made all the young cultivators puzzle and their fear towards the trial had completely vanished.

As Elder Elek was conducting his trial, the three vagrant cultivators, Ramon, Esmund and Seward were having a serious discussion among themselves.

'Are we not going to bother about what that brat had baited the moon rabbit with?'

Ramon looked at Ajax and said to the other two vagrant cultivators.

In this discussion, only three of them were participating as for the guild master and Sandra, they didn't bother about it.

'I think, Sandra knows about it; however, she is not telling us,'

'Maybe, she is planning to take Ajax as her disciple,'

'That must be right; otherwise, how can she be this calm even after her contracted spirit beast was deceived by a young brat?'

They discussed what Ajax used to bait the moon rabbit and in the end, they came to the conclusion that Sandra was going to take Ajax as her disciple. So, Esmund and Seward asked Ramon regarding what he was planning.

'I am thinking of accepting Ajax as my disciple at any cost to find out about it. Moreover, he is good enough to be my disciple,'

Ramon looked at Ajax before replying to the other two vagrant cultivators.

Esmund and Seward were speechless at Ramon's words as they shook their head at Ramon's shamelessness.

'You are indirectly asking us to support you, right?'

Seward asked Ramon with a scoff.

'Yes...as long as he becomes my disciple, you can pick any one item from my eternal garden,'

Ramon revealed a slight smile on his face as he gave a good offer to the two other vagrant cultivators that was impossible to resist.

Esmund and Seward were shocked by Ramon's words as they asked him.

'Sure. As long as I know what that brat used to bait the moon rabbit, it is all worth it. If I can get my hands on it, I can tame that thing which sleeping for many years now,'

Ramon looked at the distant mountain as he replied to the two other cultivators.

'Okay then. We will fully support you,'

'That's right! Since you are very good at bribing, we will definitely support you,'

Esmund and Seward nodded their heads before focusing on the trial.

To be more accurate, they focused on Ajax to see who much longer he would endure Elek's pressure.

'Those three must be planning something behind your back,'

Just as Ramon, Esmund and Seward finished their discussion and came to one conclusion, the leader of the six vagrant cultivators, the guild master Rae silently transmitted his voice to Sandra which contained a hint of a smile.

'Those three idiots will never change...just let them do whatever they want to do,'

Sandra shook her head as she replied to the guild master.

'I am hoping that this is going to be funny...haha,'

The guild master also nodded his head as he started laughing in his heart thinking about what the future would bring.

The trial continued without any disturbance and finally, it was Ajax's turn as he was the last one remaining in the trial.
