Outside the battle tower,

"Esmund, you are very generous with the special reward. Didn't you say there is no good reward in the starting levels?"

"Right right...you casually rewarded with a heaven grade weapon technique just for the first level,"

"Tsk tsk...when did you become these generous, Stingy Esmund?"

All the vagrant cultivators asked Esmund when they saw Ajax's special reward.

Esmund revealed a slight smile as replied to them; however, inside his heart, he was cursing his own bad luck.

He didn't feel well when he thought about it because he thought he removed all the special rewards from the battle tower.

However, unexpectedly, he forgot to remove it.

Without wasting any time pondering about the reward, Esmund took out a talisman from out of nowhere before saying, "Ajax got a heaven grade weapon technique for being the first one to clear the level 1. So, try your best in the second level and get a special reward for yourselves."

All the other vagrant cultivators felt something was not right when they heard Esmund word but they didn't say anything.

In the battle tower,

Soon the female voice resounded in the various halls of the first level repeating the exact same words that Esmund had spoken into the talisman.

'I need to try my best in completing the second level,'

All the participants were shocked for a moment before becoming more competitive all of a sudden and thought to give their best in the second level.

As for Ajax, his pain just came to an end before he got a system notification.

Ajax heaved a sigh of relief as he looked at the complete information on the technique he had just learned.

Ajax nodded his head and waited for the female voice to guide him to the next level.

Ajax was shocked when he saw it; however, he soon became even more excited.

The more interesting thing about the skill is he didn't even use his full strength. Just half of his full strength and the rank 5 beast blasted into pieces.

All the vagrant cultivators were shocked when they saw Ajax kill the raging steel bear with a single strike by using the technique which he found a few moments ago.

The guild master shook his head as he rejected that option instantly; however, after thinking for some time, he felt that might be too true.

When a cultivator becomes too powerful like reaching the king realm or above that realm, their comprehension speed would be very high.  Moreover, they could also inject their knowledge about the particular technique into others with some side effects.

However, other than side effects on the powerful cultivator, the one who was receiving the knowledge would die because they could not handle that much knowledge about some powerful techniques or other things.

"What if the powerful cultivator has something to reduce that death probability?"

Elder Esmund replied once more making all the vagrant cultivators into a dilemma.

Soon, the guild master asked others to pry into Ajax's secret and suggested that they would help him in his cultivation and later they asked for what they needed.

After killing the first raging steel bear, Ajax killed the other two steel bears using less than 50 percent.

'Looks like I need just 30 percent of my full-powered thrust to kill an early rank 5 spirit beast'

For the second beast, he used 40 percent and for the last bear, he only used 30 percent but still, he was able to kill the bear.

So, he finally came to the conclusion that he only needed 30 percent to kill an early rank 5 spirit beast before proceeding to the next hall through the door on his left.
