Chapter 819: Upgrading the dark elemental paradise

Looking at the humanoid ghost fox, Ajax nodded his head and said with a slight smile on his face, "Looks like Ghost had said everything about me."

"No"

However, to Ajax's surprise, the humanoid ghost fox shook his head.

"Then?"

Ajax was confused a little as he asked him with a strange look on his face.

"I knew because of this."

While saying that, Ghost's father, Errol took out a round mirror with Gold coating on its back.

"This is one of the three artifacts that I got while searching for you, my son."

He didn't wait for others to ask about the mirror as he continued to explain about it.

"This thing can predict the future of certain beings as long as we pay the right price. So, all this time, I was not worried about my son's safety because I knew I will meet him when the right time comes."

"So, I waited for you to come here. According to this mirror, my son will form a contract with a unique summoner who will make the reunion between me and my son."

By the time Errol finished his words, his dilated black eyes turned misty.

Even though he knew that his son was safe and they would meet after a few years, Errol missed his son a lot.

Moreover, he thought of not showing his tears in reunion with his son; however, no matter how much he wanted to suppress them, they won't stop coming out of his eyes.

"Father, don't cry. I am back now and no one will separate us."

Seeing his father who used to be always strict with him, even Ghost started crying while trying to stop his father's cry.

'A parent's love is something which I can't get in this life.'

Looking at him, Ajax felt happy for Ghost because Ajax didn't even know his parents and he thought he would get some information on his parents from the old voice in his head.

However, after his breakthrough into the general realm, there was no reply from the old voice which made him think that he got fooled by the old voice because he promised that as long as he successfully endured the pain in breaking through into the general realm, he would talk about Ajax's parents.

"Let's not stay here any longer."

All of a sudden, Errol said those words.

"Isn't this place hidden?"

Ajax asked with a frown on his face because he thought this place was quite hidden. Moreover, Errol had hidden in this place for years.

So, how can this place be exposed all of a sudden?

'If the summoner's group were watching us entering this place, then all the tribes would know the location of this place.'

It didn't take much time for Ajax to figure out why they had to leave this quasi mid-level spirit stone all of a sudden.

"So, are you saying that you don't have any use with this spirit stone mine?"

Ajax didn't think much about beings surrounded by the fox tribes but when he heard Errol's words of leaving the spirit stone mine, Ajax's eyes lit up as he asked Errol with an excited look on his face.

"I already collected around 100 mid-level spirit stones after staying here for a few years and only used one or two mid-level spirit stones when required. Even though it is a loss, we don't have enough time to pick all the stones." 

Errol explained how conservatively he used the mid-level spirit stone over the last few years for his son's sake and continued saying, "So, I should be content with 100 mid-level spirit stones and nearly a million spirit stones in my space ring."

At the end of his sentence, Errol revealed a bitter look because he didn't want to waste so many spirit stones.

However, compared to his son's life, it is not worth a thing for him.

Ajax became excited when he heard Errol's words because he could not use the spirit stone mine to upgrade his elemental paradise to grade 4.

As soon as he finished his words, Errol carried his son in his arms and rushed even deeper into the spirit stone mine.

"As for Ajax, he looked at them for a moment, Cerauno follow them and protect them until I come."

Without wasting any time, he gave an order to the lightning elemental spirit beside him and before Cerauno could ask him any questions, Ajax interrupted him and said, "Don't ask me any questions and go now."

'System, use this spirit stone mine and upgrade my 'Mini dark abyss' into a grade 4 elemental paradise.'

After reaching the center of the spirit stone mine, Ajax ordered the system to upgrade his elemental paradise.

Detected a quasi mid-level spirit stone.

The spirit stone mine can naturally become a mid-level spirit stone mine within 10 years. Do you want to still use it to upgrade your elemental paradise?

'Huh?'

Instead of upgrading, the system asked for his confirmation by saying that the current spirit stone mine will evolve into a mid-level spirit stone which made Ajax frown.

'Aren't you the one who gave me the idea to upgrade my elemental paradise? Then why are you asking this question?'

Ajax was a little annoyed when he saw the system notification; however, he controlled his emotions and said, "I will choose to upgrade my elemental paradise to grade 4."

If he had 10 years of time, Ajax would have not used this spirit stone mine to upgrade his elemental paradise but the sad thing is in 10 years he might become a king realm cultivator where mid-level spirit stones will be of no use for him.

Moreover, since the summoner's group had already found this place, he can't freely excavate this spirit stone. So, he chose to upgrade his elemental paradise which will help his dark summons a lot.

The upgrading process of the elemental paradise using a quasi mid-level spirit stone is started.

'Ding,

The host has to stay at the center of the spirit stone mine for five minutes. Please refrain from moving your place.

Just as he agreed to upgrade his elemental paradise, Ajax got two system notifications; however, when he saw the second system notification, he frowned a little.

'Cerauno, I need five more minutes to move from here. Take care of them.'

Without wasting any time, he ordered Cerauno to take care of Ghost and his father because he knew that the lightning elemental spirit can take care of any level 10 elite general realm cultivator who didn't learn any elemental law.

'Yes, summoning master.'

Cereauno nodded his head as he sent back his thoughts to Ajax.

"Errol, we know you are hiding here. If you come out and hand over the three artifacts that belong to the summoner's group, we can promise you that the summoner's group will let you and your son leave from here in one piece."

All of a sudden, a loud voice came from above the ground making Ajax frown.
