Chapter 971: Nameless Cultivator

'Cursed Heaven?'

Ajax and Levi became curious as it was their first time hearing about such a place.

"There are many myths about that place; however, no one knows which one is true."

Seeing their curious looks, Master Elek continued explaining, "Even though it was dangerous to enter the Cursed Abyss, mercenaries and cultivators were also curious about this place and adding to the fact that the more dangers a place had the greater would be the rewards. So, many tried entering into it only to die."

"Hm"

Hearing those words, both Ajax and Levi nodded their heads because they already know about it.

"However, there are some cultivators who are very sensitive to energies like Cursed Energy, Astral Energy and other energies. They were able to enter the Cursed Abyss by finding a least dense route; however, with that technique, they can't enter into the depths of the Cursed Abyss because there is no such route where there is a least dense Cursed Energy."

"So, with the help of Master Elek and others, we created a pill that could prevent Cursed Energy from entering into our body."

Master Elek stopped speaking after giving the history of the Energy resistant pill which Ajax had already got to know from the system.

"Master Elek, can you tell us about the Cursed Heaven?"

Since Ajax already knew about the pill, he was not interested in it; instead, he asked about the Cursed Heaven.

"Sigh"

Master Elek shook his head when he heard Ajax's words; however, he continued speaking, "Cursed Heaven is a place where pure Astral Energy is generated…."

"What?"

Ajax was shocked with the first line itself and interrupted Master Elek with a shocked look on his face.

"Yes; however, it was guarded by a dense Cursed Energy that could even corroded King realm cultivators."

Master Elek replied with a bitter smile on his face.

"What? Even the King realm cultivators will be corroded by it?"

Ajax and Levi shivered with Master Elek's words.

"Does the Royal Family know about it?"

Nevertheless, controlling his emotions, Ajax asked Master Elek.

"Except for the Vagrant cultivators, no one knows, including Rulf and your Captain."

Once again Ajax and Levi were surprised and thought, 'No wonder we didn't hear anything about it.'

"Also, there is one more thing you need to know."

All of a sudden, Master Elek's face became serious as he continued, "Actually, there are seven vagrant cultivators, not six."

'What?'

Today is the day Ajax and Levi kept on getting one shock after another without much time gap between those shocks.

'Even if Captain Edmond didn't know about the Cursed Heaven, Rulf, as a follower of the Guild master, he should at least know about it, right? I wonder why they were hiding it even from Rulf?'

Ajax had many thoughts in his head; however, while he was thinking, Master Elek continued saying,

"The seventh member of the Vagrant cultivator called himself the Nameless vagrant. He was adamant about absorbing Cursed Energy and wanted to convert it into Astral Energy. However, somewhere in the middle, he lost to Cursed Energy and transformed into a half-corroded being."

By the end of his words, Master Elek could not help but feel sad.

"What's more, he entered into a village in the outskirts of the Cursed Abyss to meet the Guild master; however, without his knowledge, just his presence in that village killed all the mortals along with the cultivators below General realm."

"At the time, Guild master became so angry and used all his attacks to kill the Nameless vagrant; however, because of Cursed Energy, no matter how many times the guild master killed him, he would come back to life."

"Later, after checking all the options, we stopped the guild master before sending him Cursed Heaven and asked him not to come out of it. Since Nameless Cultivator knew what he did was an unforgivable mistake. So, he imprisoned himself in the Cursed Heaven and disappeared from the Zrochester province."

Master Elek explained almost everything that  Ajax and Levi needed to know about the Nameless cultivator.

'So, that is the reason why the guild master said those words.'

After listening to everything that Master Elek had said, Ajax finally understood as he remembered yesterday's scene.

When Master Elek brought up the topic of someone who must be the Nameless cultivator, the guild master didn't look happy; however, he said words like 'Tell him, I forgave him.'

"Will it not cause any trouble for Ajax if he meets the Nameless cultivator?"

As for Levi, his line of thinking was different as he asked a question.

Since the Nameless cultivator's presence in a village turned the entire village into a graveyard, Levi was worried about Ajax.

"Don't worry, he has been trying to control the Cursed Energy for more than a couple of decades and adding to the fact that Ajax is not a common general realm cultivator, it will not be a big issue. Moreover, I have a few more Energy resistant pills for him in case the cursed energy from the Nameless cultivator affects Ajax."

Master Elek was not worried about Ajax because he already knew that Ajax had the protection of his master; however, he had to try his best to protect him. So, he brought more than enough Energy resistant pills.

"Master Elek, so, how are we going to get Astral Energy?"

Since the main reason why they were entering the Cursed Heaven was because of the Astral Energy.

So, Ajax wanted to know how they were going to get it.

"Haha"

Finally, Master Elek laughed as he replied to Ajax, "What is the hurry? You will know once we get there."

Master Elek wanted to keep Ajax in suspense as he didn't want to say anything more than he said.

"Okay, Master Elek. I will wait."

However, Ajax didn't continue to ask Master Elek anything regarding his earlier question; instead, he calmly sat on absorbed Cursed Energy.

'Huh?'

Master Elek raised his brows looking at Ajax when he heard those words.
