Time was running out! 

They quickly tensed in anticipation, waiting for something to happen–

The whole thing felt surreal, the floor didn't give way beneath them, the sudden waking of hungry monster's, lasers shooting from the walls, the typical life threatening dangers were without presence. Even their hearts were devoid of the ominous premonition that came with dangerous situations.

Nothing had changed.

At least nothing visible to the naked eye.

They looked around at the room and came to the same conclusion, they weren't in any immediate danger.

Chu Yi stared thoughtfully at the screen for a second, his right eye twitching with a bad premonition, before tilting his head to the entrance, and replied faintly to Chao Bin's incredulous question,

"Then go check."

Chao Bin shrugged and accepted his fate, still with some trepidation, he limped over the glass shards and after walking back to the corridor, he reached out 

"Click––"

The door swung out from the inside with just a slight push, the system interface didn't seem to work from inside.

"Well.....let's go?"

The countdown was still falling and without any others option, the three players made for the exit–

However the moment Chu Yi stepped past the threshold, his heart suddenly skipped a beat and almost instinctually he moved back from the door!

His instincts proved right because just as his foot moved away, it slammed shut along with a heavy bang! An audible click of a lock accompanying the boom–

The countdown reached zero.
