Tang Shun leaned back lazily onto the wall beside him, his face half shadowed by darkness showed a complex and thoughtful look. Cold, narrow eyes glanced the bed further away, the smell of roses lingering at the tip of his nose. In his sight, he seemed to see a soft crimson aura slowly building on Chu Yi's body, like the dawn before the first sun, the black hair that covered his pale face spread out on the bed like splashed ink on white sheets.
When they arrived, Chu Yi was sleeping quietly, but Tang Shun seemed to sense the taste of the seaweed and roses.
His head slowly tilted back, he bit the unlit cigarette butt in his mouth, half-closed his eyes, and used the bit of tobacco on the tip of his tongue, bitterness and astringency to suppress some of the emotions in his heart that were just about to move beyond the acceptable limit. He didn't usually smoke but he could tell that things were going opposite of the way he wanted. Sliver glasses were discarded carelessly and the slender slanted eyes seemed to carry a dark haze, long legs were half bent as they stretched out on the small bed and thin lips pursed unhappily.
Even the air seemed to carry the boundless scent of red roses.
There was a faint rustle in the room, the restless amber pools of Chao Bin seemed to drive away the cold darkness that sought to engulf everything. He didn't speak, narrow eyes watching quietly as Chao Bin slowly walked towards him.
Like a poisonous snake watching the little prey send itself to his mouth.
Chao Bin lifted his head to observe the man before him. The lights were turned off, leaving only a dim residual glow to appear in the room. It hit the walls, bouncing off the handsome face cold and reflected in his eyes like a hungry beast.
"Are you hungry?"
Tang Shun's voice was playful and low, no different from usual but somehow he knew that he wasn't in a good mood. His eyes focused on the slender figures that held the unlit cigarette carelessly. The slender stick was like a clear piece of jade, fragile and cold. His fingers twitched unconsciously as if waiting for something.
He shook his head, Chao Bin glanced at him and suddenly pulled the black, metal lighter that he had gotten from Tang Shun before. The lid of the lighter opened, and a small blue-blue flame ignited, reflecting the young man's face.
"Do you want a light?"
Tang Shun's eyes narrowed slowly, the gloomy emotions on his heart replaced by a distorted sense of joy, like watching a cute rabbit dangling dangerously under the nose of a lazy wolf.
He smiled and dangled the cigarette in his hands teasingly, pupils slowly turning into slits, the yes that came from his mouth was low and he placed the butt back into his lips.
The eyes he used to look at him was faintly provocative.
Chao Bin walked over and smiled at Tang Shun. And in the next instant, the lighter made a crisp sound as it turned swiftly in his hand, the blue-purple flames flowed around his fingertips, licking his pale skin and jumping like carnival stunts!
Incredibly dangerous, yet elegant and charming.
Tang Shun sat up slightly, his eyes fixed on Chao Bin's hand. The young man got closer and closer, and the flames burned brighter and brighter even as he came closer to the bed. Then suddenly, the lighter's tail flicks with a crisp, cold sound, and the lid closed, but the flames still lingered on his fingertips!
He knelt down on one knee on the edge of the bed, approached, and used his fingertips to burn the flames to light a cigarette for Tang Shun.
Tang Shun felt his heart skip a beat once more, such a Chao Bin was dangerous and bad. His cold eyes was ignited and an impetuous heat seem to knock straight against his heart—
The smell of tobacco and intoxicating smoke suddenly rose in the room.
The young man raised his head slightly and knelt on one knee on the bed to light a cigarette for him. His expression was happy and focused, with a feeling of sacrifice like devoted faith. The flames flickered on the young man's fingertips, as if he was using his own blood as fuel, burning with the cool fragrance of smoke.
From where he looked he could count the eyelashes on Chao Bins face the natural deep set bones seems to bring the rebelliousness and arrogant temperature in his bones alive.
The moment, the cigarette butt in his mouth was lit, Chao Bin smiled at him, and with a flick of his fingertips, the flame went out. The room suddenly fell silent in the darkness, and he seemed to wake up suddenly from the hazy heat that flooded his body, one hand reached out and grabbed Chao Bin's hands that wanted to run away, he yanked him forward watching him fall into bed with a cry, "Is it hot?" Tang Shun's voice was hoarse and dull.. Chao Bin was a little surprised.
It's just that now that Tang Shun was holding his hand tightly, the scorching yang energy made the nameless hunger immediately burn his body, straight into his soul, making his body tremble slightly with joy.
Very hot, he thinks.
His eyelashes trembled faintly, and a trembling breath was gently exhaled out and he explained softly: "It's not hot. As long as you control the time, you won't get hot." His hand swayed as if to show that he was alright but Tang Shun's eyes never moved from his face.
"Is it hot?"
Chao Bin felt his heart skip a beat, he seemed to know but also don't know what Tang Shun was talking about.
Tang Shun stared at the trembling lips for a second and laughed softly. He let go of Chao Bin's wrist and said nothing, just lowered his head and took a deep breath of the cigarette, another hand gently turned the lighter in his fingers.
The young man obediently sat on the bed, still very close, seeming to forget to move. He exhaled a breath of hazy smoke, and a few strands tangled in the other person's light brown hair.
The grey fog rose quietly.
The slender muscles of his neck stretched, Tang Shun turned his head to look at him, and suddenly asked, "Are you used to the smell of smoke?"
Chao Bin paused but still gave a soft "Yes", Tang Shun nodded, but didn't seem to believe him and he planned to put out the cigarette after a few more puffs, the smoke drifted, but from the corner of his eyes he suddenly he saw Chao Bin bend over and pick up the cigarette case he had just thrown on the floor;
Took one out of it, and held it in his hand. He glanced at the lighter handed to Tang Shun just now, looked up at him again, blinked slowly, and opened his mouth as if asking for help. "What should I do, I don't have anything to light a cigarette now."
His expression was still as well-behaved as before, with a slender hand holding the cigarette with the two index and middle fingers.
Tang Shun raised a brow, eyes darkening infinitely.
He rubbed the lighter in his hand, still hesitating whether to accept to follow Chao Bin's little plan, but saw that the other party was already biting his cigarette and approaching him.
In the dark night the room was dimly lit. The horrors and screams of the Institute seemed to disappear at this moment, he bowed his head a little, he could see the young man's curly and soft hair, and the fragrance of green plums wafted into his nose, almost as if he was standing in a orchid. Chao Bin bit the butt of his cigarette and touched it with his, his voice was soft and hoarse.
There was a soft sizzling in his ears, Tang Shun's fingers clenched at his his side.
"Borrow a fire," The cigarette butt was lit in the silence. Tang Shun's heart also seemed to be lit like a forest fire, there was a feeling of numbness in his scalp. His snake-like gaze slowly traced every detail of Chao Bin's face, as if assessing the best part to start eating.
After borrowing the fire , Chao Bin leaned back. He was leaning against the corner of the bed, the slightly curly hair resting softly on his red cheeks, lowering his head and took a deep inhale of the cigarette, before slowly exhaling the smoke, his eyes narrowed slightly, and his expression was a little blurred.
The arrogance in his bones remained undiminished, but now his expression seemed a little more strange and fragile.
A kind that makes him want to press him into his arms tightly, clasp his fingers with rough hands, transmit the harsh heat to his thin body and fill him up with his essence.
The room was quiet.
The strong tobacco flavor seemed to mix with the ambiguous heat, blending together for an even more enticing flavor.
Tang Shun smoked originally to calm down.
Now he couldn't.
He took a few puffs, pinched the cigarette butt, and placed it gently onto the bedside desk. The young man smoked very slowly, his movements were meticulous and elegant, it was clear he was from great upbringing and he watched him smoke.
In the smog, Chao Bin was like a dangerous fairy.
"Come here."
Tang Shun's voice qas low and hoarse but sounded irrefutable. The darkness on his eyes seemed to want to swallow Chao Bin whole.
Chao Bin's heart stopped.
His fingers twisted as he subconsciously snuffed out the cigarette butt, his expression was a little blurred after smoking. "What do you want to do?", his eyes seemed to contain traces of nervousness but also as if as long as Tang Shun asked, it didn't matter what he wanted to do.
Tang Shun's lips rose and before he could react, Chao Bin was dragged steadily onto his laps. Two slender legs falling gently onto the side of his waist. A thin, finely sculpted hands lifted to sway in front of his eyes.
Chao Bin's unconsciously followed the tantalizing trail that passed through the air. The hand was rough and a little calloused, even so, in Chao Bin's eyes, it still looked perfect. It was like deliberately placed marks on a plaster statue carefully carved by an artist, the shape was so perfect that it didn't even look like a real person. Tang Shun raised his hand to cover Chao Bin's neck , and the moment he touched it, Chao Bin could feel the amazing amount of yang energy in the opponent's body, overflowing from his fingertips, burning him harshly.
Hunger made his throat dry and there was a little sweat on the tip of his nose.
Tang Shuns eyes dropped naturally and he traced the shuddering skin under his fingers deliberately, Chao Bin's breathing got heavier and he seemed to have a trace of pity on him and slowly pulled his head forward.
He could feel the soft lips pressing against the cold skin of his neck, the heavy breathing forming a moist pool there. Tang Shun's eyes closed and he pressed firmer on the head buried into his neck, the arc of his lips seemed to grow wilder.
Chao Bin's teeth pierced into the tobacco-tinged skin and the blood slowly overflowed into his mouth but instead of soothing his body, it only made him thirstier.
He could taste the blood but he greedily didn't 't want to stop there.
He wants more.
Chao Bin's eyelashes trembled and said, "Then.. I will press it for a longer time....please. When it hurts tell... Tell me to stop." Tang Shun looked down at him and replied softly, "Ok. I'll tell you."
The teeth pierced heavier. A sly smile appearing on his lips, but what if he didn't tell him to stop. Would he drink forever—
The thought made him chuckle, with narrow eyes glinting darkly, he softly caressed the brown hair that lay against him. The smoke obscured the hungry light in his gaze.
While they were still able to laugh now, the players were finally placed in the cusp of the brewing storm.
The next day the nurses stopped handing out pills.
