"Tzuki!!!"
Wan Yi Jun's breathy voice entered Ming Yue's ears like a loud thunder, electrifying every single cell on her body, sending tremors to the high raised walls that she built around her.
"Did he recognise her?" She worried for a mere second, but on the very next moment her dark eyes narrowed down as she almost squeezed Wan Yi Jun's high and shapely nose with a gripping force, obliging him to change his attention.
When he felt a stinging pain rising from his nose bridge, Wan Yi Jun subconsciously slammed the slender hand in reflex and began to fervently rub his nose, forgetting about the continuous sneezes that tortured him, a moment ago.
"Don't give him any chance to remember me." She muttered in her head and extended her hand to pinch him.
"What are you doing?" He asked in a muffled voice to the girl who was reaching out for his nose, again.
"Your sneezing is gone." Ming Yue huffed and dusted off her palms, like she did something great.
"Wait a minute! That's true." Wan Yi Jun paused for a moment and gently touched his nose in disbelief. "But how, I mean what did you do?" He was aware of stifling hiccups, but not sneeze.
"Wait, let me rephrase the question, "What are you doing in this dusty moldy place, if you are allergic?" Her voice had a reprimanding tone when she asked Wan Yi Jun, like someone who was close enough to chide him for living in such poor conditions. Even the shabby houses in the downtown alley looked much better in comparison to Wisteria garden's current state.
"It is still under renovation." Wan Yi Jun mumbled in a barely audible voice as he avoided her eyes. Wisteria gardens was considered as an architectural marvel that was built by his great grandfathers. However, he never imagined that there will be day when the majestic house will face such a tragic downfall. Even though, Wan Yi Jun stayed away from the imperial city, he made sure to arrange some one to take care of his ancestral home. He believed it was part of his filial duty. However, watching the mess in the room absolutely wrecked his brain, not to mention that a stranger had to watch the pathetic condition of his house.
It was so embarrassing.
"That I can see. Why are you going to stay here if it is under renovation?" Ming Yue took a step back and carefully picked up the white sheet that covered an armchair. Holding it away from her body, she threw a glance at Wan Yi Jun and folded the sheet without making a mess as if she was trying to show him how it is done.
"Where else I will stay? Dusty or moldy it's my home." He adamantly refused to yield the argument, like a child throwing tantrums.
"But I should thank the heavens for sending me here before the renovations are over." He pointed out as he checked out the girl and positioned himself before Ming Yue like an immovable mountain, so mighty and high.
"I used to think that no one could break into this place, but since you are here, I should recheck the security measures." He again went ahead with accusing her as a burglar who tried to break into his house. Though he knew she was innocent, he just wanted to see her arguing back like a raging bull.
For some reasons, it felt fairly addictive to Wan Yi Jun who actually preferred silence and tranquility.
"I told you I came to buy flowers, not to break into the house." Ming Yue strongly rebutted and crossed her arms over her chest, unnecessarily gathering Wan Yi Jun's attention to her bosom.
The soft wet fabric of her lilac dress, perfectly framed her blooming youth, making it impossible to look away from those ample mounts, under the translucent clothing.
"Cough, cough...You are the one who brought me here." Ming Yue's mellow voice dragged his attention back to her face, but instead of focusing on her words, Wan Yi Jun's eyes were shifted to her soft petal-like lips.
Her enticing pair of plump lips curled and straightened as she spoke, creating ripples in his tranquil mind. Wan Yi Jun heard nothing as his desire to get a taste of her lips kept ringing in his head, like a fire engine.
How can someone be so ravishingly beautiful and could easily burn down his consciousness with the raging flames of lust? He was a gentleman who had a pretty decent control over his desire and sexual needs. But for some reason, he couldn't curb down the amorous thoughts that began spread into his veins, triggering him to act lewdly.
"Are you listening to me?" Ming Yue enquired when she saw his attention was wandering around without any constraints.
"Hey master!!!" She snapped her fingers and tried to wake him from the dazed state.
"Sorry?" He slightly raised his eyebrows and asked in confusion.
"There is no need to apologize to me."
She shrugged her shoulders when she misinterpreted his words an apology for his earlier actions and demanded to let her go home since it was already late. She left home by saying that she needs a breath of fresh air and if she didn't return early, Kousuke and Yojiro will panic and end up creating a scene.
She was someone who is not supposed to get associated with imperial police force. How would they react if she met Wan Yi Jun, a police officer, all alone?
"Just allow me to leave." Ming Yue demanded as soon as she remembered the possible after effects of her reckless decisions and immediately decide to leave without creating anymore drama.
"Sorry,"
Wan Yi Jun wobbled his head as he tried to shook off the unchaste desires that was lingering on his mind and pretended every thing normal, as if he was not affected by her presence at all.
No. He won't allow his lecherous thoughts to win over his chaste self for a random burglar who trespassed into his property.
"Whether it is lust or some carnal desire that buried deep inside me, I will not fall for a law breaker." His consciousness screamed inside his head, however the words that left his mouth were exactly opposite of it.
"You cannot leave this mansion like that."
