-1 Introductory Information

Hi readers.

Before I get into my first Webnovel, I have a little bit of information for you.

Releases

Due to being on annual holidays the next couple of weeks, there will be no set release dates, they will be simply mini mass releases, as chapters are being completed and reviewed.

Once I return to work, I intend to release 5 chapters per week.The most likely release dates are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but this will depend on when the chapters are completed and edited (as I am my own editor).If time permits and I have enough chapters written, then I will release more.

Due to current plans, there will NOT be any chapters released on 12 January (my birthday), 13 January (my goddaughter's christening), 18-20 January (as somewhere I volunteer has an annual 3-day event and I will be tied up there) and 26 January ("Australia Day").I will try either before or just after these dates release the chapters to keep up the 5 chapters per week planned release.

If circumstances mean that I cannot keep this release schedule, I will post either an Author's thought at the end of the most recently released chapter or an Author's notes chapter and keep you up to date as to when the next chapter will be released.

Chapters

The intention is that chapters will generally be between 700 and 1000 words, unless the story dictates otherwise.Most chapters will be designed to make you think about what is coming next.If chapters were longer, then the number of chapters per week would need to be reduced as I could not easily write the number of chapters.

Reader Help

I also, at an early stage want to put out two calls for help.Firstly, there anyone (even once you get into my novel), that would be willing to be a reading sounding board, to review chapters before I post I would be grateful.I'm not asking the person to be an editor, but I know from my work, once documents are over a certain length, it is necessary for someone to cast an eye over them before they go out to prevent errors, this is what I am looking or.The second call out for help, is I am struggling for a cover for this novel.Ideas would be appreciated from you the reader as to what I could do for a cover!

Story Information

The last thing that you would be looking for in this chapter, a little bit about the story.I will, as we go along, bring in our characters, whether they are minor, have a mid-size role in the story or are central to the story.I am not planning a list of characters (that will be updated as new characters are introduced), unless you the readers request it.If you want these, I will put it as another auxiliary chapter.

For characters from Australia (or Western countries), I will be using the western convention for naming being Given Name followed by Surname, and for those from my unnamed Asian Country the convention of surname followed by given name.While I am aware that there are, in various Asian countries naming conventions for how surnames and given names go together, in this story I have simply picked combinations that I like.If for some reason I have given a male a female name or the reverse, I apologise to everyone now.

During the Story, the story will spend the majority of its time in my unnamed Asian Country and time in Australia.Other countries may occur as the story develops.
