Chapter 32 - An Eccentric Junior

Chapter 32 An Eccentric Junior

Hearing Fang Tong’s agreement not to leave, the president of the Art Club heaved a sigh of relief.

“Oh yeah, speaking of design drafts, I’ve just closed a contract with a design company. They’ve decided to outsource some of their design work to us. They only need one copy a month. I wanted to give the assignment to you but since you’re busy, why don’t you supervise a new member and train him or her to do it.”

Fang Tong took the contract from the president and looked over it carefully. This design company was of average size and the requirements weren’t complicated. The outsourced design work entailed simple designs and should not require too much effort. She nodded and agreed.

“How many new recruits do we have this year? Are they talented?”

“Not many, only three, but one of them is especially talented. He reminds me of you when we first met.”

The president couldn’t hide his excitement. Just as he raised his head, he saw the person he was talking about and waved him over, “Li Lu, over here.”

Fang Tong looked in the direction the president was pointing at. Even though she was used to the good looks of Gu Nancheng and Zhong Yang, she couldn’t help but marvel at Li Lu’s divine face.

Gu Nancheng looked mature and reserved, while Zhong Yang looked gentle and elegant. As for Li Lu, he was devilishly handsome!

“President,” Li Lu greeted plainly. He then looked at Fang Tong beside him and smiled. “Senior Fang Tong.”

“You know me?” Fang Tong was surprised. Wasn’t this junior a freshman?

“I’ve long heard of the good name of the campus belle of A-University. I’ve finally met her today.”

The president smiled generously as he patted Li Lu’s shoulder. “How about it? The campus belle of our university looks better in real life, right? Also, Fang Tong is a frequent winner at art competitions of all the major universities in the country. Her record has never been broken!”

Li Lu looked down and said softly, “So-so…”

What?

Fang Tong raised her eyebrows. This little brat’s standards were quite high! He dared to say that she was only so-so!

Li Lu said that so softly that the president did not hear him. Instead, the president smiled and continued, “I’m giving the assignment to Li Lu. Fang Tong, please take good care of him. The bright future of our art club will depend on you!”

Fang Tong put on a fake smile and said, “No problem.”

After leaving the club, Fang Tong looked at her class schedule for the day. She has no class today, so she didn’t go back to the classroom. Instead, she planned to go back home to Gu residence.

“Senior, aren’t you going back to the dormitory?”

Said Li Lu on his way out when he saw Fang Tong standing at the door. “It’s understandable. A place like the student dormitory is probably not suitable for Senior Fang Tong.” Fang Tong stared at Li Lu and smiled without saying a word. She took out her phone and hailed a ride. She then walked towards the main gate to wait for her ride.

“Senior, don’t you have a car? Let me give you a ride!” Li Lu followed Fang Tong to the main gate.

Fang Tong still did not speak. Li Lu frowned slightly. “Senior, I’m talking to you.”

“Oh, you’re talking to me!” Fang Tong pretended to be enlightened.

Li Lu was speechless.

“I kept hearing barking in my ear and I thought that someone’s pug had sneaked out. But it was you, Junior… you’re talking to me!”

Li Lu glared at Fang Tong for a while before he suddenly smiled. “You’re quite interesting!”

When Fang Tong’s ride arrived, she walked up and opened the car door. She looked at Li Lu and sneered, “Your way of hitting on me is very boring!” With that, she slammed the car door shut.
