Chapter 102 - 102: Disappearance

(Sorry not a new one, I just noticed that the chap wasn't complete, sorry again)

...

"No no no, you cannot go there!" Hancock suddenly exclaimed, her face filled with anxiety.

Swoosh!

Not caring about herself anymore she hurriedly flew off the ground looking as graceful as a fairy and moved in front of it with her arms spread out to block the titan's way.

This charming little thing trying to block it was hilariously ridiculous and cute.

And aware of its presence the titan stopped moving and looked at it with a grumble as if telling it.

'Move out of the way."

"No, you can't go there." Hancock shook her head in refuting. She kind of felt like she was taking care of a baby, telling it not to go somewhere because of an eventual danger, apart from that it was 'this baby' the danger here.

Growl! The Ape glared and began to growl like a dog barking or something.

"I said, No!" In a sudden burst of anxiety and courage, she faced the beast with a resolute face.

Having had enough of it seemingly… The great Ape lifted its huge hand in the air as if to crush her...

...

Meanwhile in Edam's inner world.

He was falling over in an abyss with nothing else surrounding him apart from nothingness. His senses were thoroughly numb, even his thoughts seemed to be frozen, or was it an impression? Anyway, be couldn't see, hear, touch anything...

He was completely unaware of what was happening outside and an eternity seemed to pass in this void.

But all that wasn't important, he only hopes that Hancock listened to him and got out of the island. She was truly his source of worry here.

And as he was getting restless, he suddenly heard something.

"Y̶̷o̶̷u̶̷-̶̷!"

"What?" Edam frowned and turned around to look around in vain as there was nothing. "Is someone there?"

"...Excuse me, but I don't hear you well!" He yelled at the far-away voice.

Y̶o̶u̶n̶g̶ ̶l̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶s̶ ̶m̶e̶!̶ ̶

"Who me? Who the hell are you!" Edam yelled as much as the voice.

I̶̷'̶̷m̶̷ ̶̷i̶̷n̶̷s̶̷i̶̷d̶̷e̶̷ ̶̷t̶̷h̶̷e̶̷ ̶̷s̶̷w̶̷o̶̷r̶̷d̶̷ ̶̷m̶̷y̶̷ ̶̷l̶̷o̶̷r̶̷d̶̷,̶̷ ̶̷f̶̷i̶̷n̶̷a̶̷l̶̷l̶̷y̶̷,̶̷ ̶̷p̶̷l̶̷e̶̷a̶̷s̶̷e̶̷ ̶̷I̶̷ ̶̷b̶̷e̶̷g̶̷ ̶̷y̶̷o̶̷u̶̷ ̶̷m̶̷y̶̷ ̶̷l̶̷o̶̷r̶̷d̶̷ ̶̷t̶̷a̶̷k̶̷e̶̷ ̶̷m̶̷e̶̷ ̶̷o̶̷u̶̷t̶̷ ̶̷w̶̷a̶̷h̶̷h̶̷!̶̷!̶̷

"The sword- what-? Wait wait what-?!" Just as he was going to ask questions again, he felt his sense going wild while a familiar feminine voice rang out in all directions seemingly.

"I dare you...!"

With that, he felt something pulling him out of the void and he unknowingly attains another place.

He was in an instant looking at a minuscule female human flying in front of him with her arms raised as if to block him.

He of course immediately recognized her but he instantly felt alarmed. "Move out idiot move out!"

He could see a gigantic arm being raised high in the air while a phenomenal amount of K was swirling around it before 'he' swung to crush her.

"Hey me! Stop that, stop!" He could see everything unfolding but do nothing.

And as he looked at her she didn't plan to avoid it. She was naturally looking at the beast with a fearless expression, clearly saying. 'I know you're here…'

Her purple-blue eyes seemed to have a weird glow dancing in as she stared in its eyes as if to pierce its soul, looking not at the beast but himself instead.

She seems so very confident that he was currently present at this instant that his whole being shook upon being stared at by her.

Seeing this he completely snapped and his pupils constricted in the blink of an eye.

!!!

"I told you to f*ck*ng stop!!!"

!!!

Swoosh! Just as the humongous palm was about to strike, the other palm arrived with a terrific speed and slapped the other hand away like a fly.

The clash resulted in shockwaves that blasted Hancock far away despite her trying to resist it.

She managed to take control again a hundred meters away and flew up to take a look again.

But when she took a look again, something completely weird happened.

"Roar!"

The clouds in the sky were gathering like there were no tomorrow, forming a mass of black clouds in a matter of moments and continued to expand even more and more.

Rumbling!

Soon thunders began to roar high up in the air, and the clouds opened up revealing the terrifying sight of a sea of thunders. At first sight, Hancock found this scenery to be extremely beautiful because the clouds of lightning were shining nine different colors.

But when she carefully watched it, the feeling was the complete opposite.

A cold shiver instantly ran down her spine as her mind blanked out and a painful feeling rushed in her head as if thousands of needles were piercing her very soul. "Ah!"

She couldn't even look at the sky in peace but as a stubborn girl, she still took a look at Edam.

Roar!

Sure enough, the Titan Ape wasn't like her, he didn't take a step back and even roared at the heaven as if challenging its authority.

And good (or unfortunately) for the Ape, the 'heaven' took this provocation very badly.

Rumbling!

Thunders swirled in the clouds similar to a maelstrom as it gathered a vast amount of multicolored thunders and…

Clap! Bang! Boom!

The same way the ape would fire a beam of light, this sky flashed a terrible nine colored light and smashed onto the beast without any pity at all.

The attack was completely targeting the Ape and didn't do single direct damage to the environment.

"Roar!"

But in response, the sky furiously retaliated and shot out a second time.

Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

Unlike before it now shot out four nine colored thunder at the same time resulting in a devastating blow against the ape.

This time around though, the attack has worked pretty well, the ape's massive frame was blasted to near mountains, and his right shoulder was slightly torn open revealing his flesh.

It was certainly injured as it ġrȯȧnėd in pain and held it's shoulder while still looking at the sky.

However, when Hancock took a good look at his shoulder, she could see the fiber of flesh regenerating at a fast rate quickly closing the injury leaving no trace of a wound.

The Giant Ape shot a glance at his shoulder and gave a heavy grumble as a crazy and tremendous aura followed his grumbling.

Boom!

A massive amount of energy madly rose out of the ape while the clouds swirled a maelstrom of multicolored thunders again clearly intended on pulverizing it to smithereens.

This time, Nine spots of nine colored vortexes of thunder gathered in the sky and madly charged at the ape who in turn charged at it too with madness!

Boooom!

An explosion that was incomparable to any other explosion before rang out.

Swing!

And a flash of white light engulfed the world for an instant shining an even brighter light than the sun itself.

...

Hancock had already closed and blocked her eyes with her arm as the light way too bright, she would maybe have become blind if not.

Minutes passed by and she thereafter opened her eyes and looked forward in a hurry with shock.

"Edam!"

She flew rapidly ahead as she saw an immense crater, proof of what happened there.

The battle zone was literally pulverized in a hundred radius. Nothing seems to be alive at all.

But a strange thought made its way to her head. 'That's all?"

Truth be told, she was truly surprised that she was still alive or even that the island was still standing on. She truly felt that the world was coming to an end earlier.

But that wasn't important for now, the question was, where was he?! She couldn't find him anywhere!

"No! No, Edam you cannot die like this... this is... impossible... "

...

Somewhere far far away…

Floating in the void, a seemingly sleeping figure was floating about, roaming in space like a dead ghost, rapidly passing by various planes before crashing somewhere on an unknown planet.

It had crashed down in a rock environment.

"Hmm? What is that? Are you hiding too?"

A childish and naive voice rang out.
