Chapter 246 - She's A Royalty

Ramon quickly called her back, and he didn't want her to go to Stonasia.  All he wanted to do was to pay his respect to his father the King before it's too late.  If Lady Lucy goes there, he knows she would make a mess of everything once again.  He doesn't want that to happen this time around.

Lady Lucy quickly picked up the call when she saw that it was Ramon who had called her back.  However, she was stunned by the way he had spoken to her.  He was dead serious from the tone of his voice.  It gives Lady Lucy a chill...

"Hello, son!  Sorry, I hung up on you.  What is it?"  She asked as sweet as she could.

"Mother!  If you dare show up there... I'll make sure you regret it.  Do you hear me!"  He didn't bother waiting for his mother to respond; he quickly hung up the phone.

"Go!  We need to make sure we get there before my mother arrives."  Ramon ordered the driver to start the car and go...

"Yes, your highness!"  Replied the driver and drove off as fast as he could, luckily, there was no traffic around to the Palace.  And they arrived without delay.

The Queen's assistant was already waiting for him at the front door of the Palace, ready to take him to the King's chamber.  When she saw Ramon, she quickly descended toward the car and waited for him to step out.

"Your Highness, welcome! I hope you had a pleasant trip.  This way, please!  The King is waiting for you."  Sait the Queen's Assistant after paying respect to Ramon.

"Thank you!  Yes, it was a pleasant trip...  Until I arrived and my mother found out that I'm here.  Do me a favor, no matter what happens, make sure that she's not allowed to come inside the Palace.  I don't want to deal with her until I finish speaking with the King.  Do you understand?"  Ramon said sternly as he walks toward the King's chamber.

"Yes, your Highness!  I will make sure that your mother was not allowed to enter, no matter what."  The assistant assured Ramon before continuing to guide him towards the King's chamber.

When Ramon arrived at the King's chamber, there were only three people inside.  The Queen, the young prince, and the King who's sleeping soundly.  The Queen looked up and nodded to Ramon as he enters and walks towards them.

He made a slight curtsy to pay respect to the Queen before, "I'm here as you requested." He said straight forward without batting an eye.

The Queen looked at him up and down before she nodded as an acknowledgment.  "Thank you!  Let me assure you that I really appreciate you coming.  I'm sure the King feels the same.  Unfortunately, he had just shut his eyes, and he had not been able to sleep well lately.  Do you mind speaking with me first while we are waiting for the King to wake up from his nap?"

Ramon couldn't believe what he was hearing.  The Queen of Stonasia, actually civilly speaking with him.  She was not acting high and mighty like she usually does.  It made him wonder.

"Your Majesty, kindly accept my apology, for I'm exhausted at the moment.  If you so kind and let me rest while the King is resting, we could talk when I'm done speaking with him."  He flat out turned her down.

With that, the Queen nodded and let it go.  "Sure!  My assistant would show you a room you could use while you're here in the Palace.  Go ahead!  I will inform you once the King wakes up."  The Queen said curtly before going back to what she was doing before Ramon arrived.

As soon as Ramon walked out of the King's chamber.  The King opened his eyes and asked the Queen a question.  "How is he?  Does he look alright?  Do you think he would agree if you suggest for him to take the Crown Prince Title at the Spaniard Kingdom?  Tell me?"

"He's your son, how would I know what he thinks.  I think it would be best if you suggest it to him as your dying wish.  It might work if you do it that way."  The Queen suggested without batting an eye.

"What about Crown Prince Alexander?  Where is he now?  Do you have any news if he's eyesight is now back and he's memories?"  The King asked sadly while holding his young prince hand.

The Queen couldn't respond to the King's inquiry, for she has no idea what's going on with Crown Prince Alexander.  She prays that he would get his eyesight back even if he doesn't get his memory back.  And if it will help him regain his consciousness by being with that commoner Alexa Grant, so be it.

Just as the Quee was about to say something in response to the King's question about Crown Prince Alexander, her assistant came knocking at the door baring news.

"Your Majesty, please!  Take a look at this article.  It's about Crown Prince Alexander and that commoner Alexa Grant."  She handed the tablet to let the Queen read the news about the shooting in New York City Hotel and Crown Prince Alexander, and Alexa Grant was in the picture.

The Queen read the article.  After reading the whole article, her eyebrow raised, and she frowns once she got to the end of the story.

In the news, it was written:  [ The First Family of the United States of America was devastated for the loss of their first grandchild and a daughter-in-law.  A random shooting occurred while they were on the way up to their room as they waited for the elevator.  A drunk man suddenly opens fire and hits the newly wedded wife of Daniel Grant.  The First family only son.

[Crown Prince Alexander of the Kingdom of Stonasia was in the vicinity with his fiancee Alexa Grant.  Which was later announced is the First Family only daughter.  Right now, President Grant and his family asking to give them time to grieve.]

What caught the Queen's eye was the word that Alexa Grant is the daughter of the President of The United States of America.  Therefore, she's considered a Royalty.  She's the Princess of the United States Of America.

With that thinking, a smile procures in the Queen's lips while thinking of a way to bring the Crown Prince Alexander back home with or without Alexa Grant...
