Chapter 2 NOT INTERESTED

Prince Alex and his assistant went after Alexa.

However, when they arrived where she was supposed to be waiting for a cab, there was no one there who remotely looked like her.

Alexa was long gone, and Prince Alex was not happy about that."You better get her back here, or you might as well pack your belongings and fly back home," he told his assistant.

The assistant was sweating bullets.He thought it was hot earlier, but at this point, he was burning from the fire coming out of Prince Alex's gaze."I'm on it your Highness," he replied as he bowed and then left hurriedly to start looking for Alexa.

Alexa was in the washroom washing her hand.She did not know that she was currently a wanted person by the Prince and his assistant.She took out her phone and texted her cousin to update her.

Alexa: [When I get home later, I better not see you.]

Andrea: [What did I do now?]

Alexa: [You sent me to work for a pervert.]

Andrea: {What are you talking about? I did not send you to work for a pervert. Wait, what pervert are you talking about?]

Alexa: [Well, you did send me to one for employment, and I'm on my way home to kick your ass too!]

Andrea: [What do you mean kick my ass also? Did you do something to her?]

Alexa: [What do you mean by, her?It's a woman, not he?]

Andrea: [What are you talking about? You're supposed to meet a woman, how did it become a man?]

Alexa finally had it; she couldn't text anymore.She dialed her cousin's number so they could hear each other's voices, and it was faster than typing letters.

"Hello!What are you talking about? Was I supposed to be meet a female boss? I went to the room number that you gave me."

"What is the room number you entered?" Andrea asked as Alexa could hear concern her voice.

"It was the Penthouse; room 10009?"

"What? I said 10006, not 10009! Are you dyslexic?Did you transpose a number again?"

"Oh! Shit, I just went to a wrong room and kicked someone's ass.Hahaha! I'm in deep sh*t now."

She slowly made her way to the door of the washroom and peeked outside to see if either one of the two were out there. "Phew!"

"Ok! I had made a mistake and ended up meeting a pervert. However, I took care of giving him a piece of my tigress side, so don't worry about me", she told Andrea cheerfully so that she won't worry herself too much.

"Are you sure you're fine?The pervert wasn't able to do anything shameful to you right?"

Alexa thought about what that man did to her; was it shameful? Nah! What do I need to be ashamed of? I can't help it if he found me irresistible. Hahaha!She thought before replying to her cousin.

"Nah! He didn't have the chance to do anything shameful, and as I said, I kicked his butt. So, don't worry ok?!"

"I'm going to hang up now.I will try and see if I can still go to the right person this time." She then hung the phone up after bidding her goodbyes.

'It's 10006 and not 10009.I better remember that.'Alexa started going in the direction of the room.

As she was waiting by the elevator, Prince Alex saw her and ran right towards her.When he was almost where she was, the elevator opened, and she went in.Prince Alex was unable to catch her.

Prince Alex looked at the floor where the elevator stopped. 10th floor, that's my floor.He ran as fast as he could as if the devil was chasing him to the private elevator assigned to his room."Hahaha!" I got you now; let's see if you can get away from me again." His laughter echoed through the lobby as he entered the elevator.

Once he arrived on the 10th floor, he started running instead of walking towards his room.He bumped into his assistant as he was about to reach his suite.

"Prince Alex, I apologize, but she seems to have disappeared."The assistant couldn't stand still, afraid of Prince Alex's wrath.

The smile and excitement suddenly faded away from his face.It changed from happiness to disappointment."What do you mean Miss Grant disappeared? I just saw her enter the elevator and it stopped on this floor. You mean to tell me you did not see her?"

The assistant was dumbfounded; he had been there all this time.So how could he have missed Alexa?Just as they were about to go back down to look for her one more time, they heard the sound of elevator opening. *Ding!*

Prince Alex and his assistant stood still while rooted to the ground waiting for the door to open.

When the door opens, a middle age woman came out and right behind her was Miss. Grant who was happily chatting away with a beautiful smile plastered on her face making her dimples visibly clear.

Alexa stopped talking as soon as she saw the two standing at the corridor.'Oh! Shit!I'm in trouble now. What should I do?Should I turn around and leave or should I take a chance and ignore them?'She was still debating as to what she should do and didn't realize that someone was right in front of her staring intensely.

"Hello! Miss Grant, I think you owe me an apology, don't you think so?"Prince Alex grabs her once again, but this time his grip was tight, and she was unable to free herself.

"Please, excuse us! We have business to discuss." Prince Alex told the middle age woman before proceeding to take Alexa away towards his room.

Alexa had to think of a way; she did not want to go inside the room with this 'pervert.' Who knows what he would do to her once they get there.She needed to think fast."Let go of me! You jerk! Pervert! I'm not interested in you!" She yelled out loud for the middle age woman to hear, then started kicking with all her might.

"Let go of me, jerk! Pervert! I said I'm not interested!" she said, still yelling loud enough for the woman to hear and rescue her and also not to misjudge the situation.

Sure enough, she heard and came to Alexa's rescue. "Young man! Stop right there! You seem to be a distinguished gentleman and a very handsome one at that. But why are you forcing yourself on someone who is not willing?" The foreign woman intervened.

Prince Alexander continued pulling Alexa towards his suite; he didn't even pay any attention to the woman or what she was saying.

All that mattered to him was Alexa, the one who for the first time in his entire life gave him the very first slap on his face and a kick on his butt.

His assistant was worried, he kept on looking back and forth to the elevator, in case another guest may show up and see the commotion.

Prince Alexander motioned to his assistant to prevent the lady from intervening, but he made a mistake and overlooked Alexa's swift movement.Once she saw an opening, she stomped at his foot, then kicked him in his groin.*Bam!*

It hit the target right on the mark.He had no choice but to let go of Alexa and hold on to his middle section where it's hurting like hell.

"Serves you right!I'm not apologizing for kicking your butt before, and I would not apologize for kicking your groin this time either." Alexa plastered a big grin on her face then turned around and walked back to where the foreign woman was standing who also had a smile on her face.

"Ma'am, I apologize about the rude interruption."She put on the sweetest smile her face could conjure then continued the conversation she was having with the lady as if nothing ever happened.

"Hahaha! Feisty, aren't you?You're the kind of person I'm looking for; I can't wait to see how you work. With that kind of attitude, I trust you will do well."The lady praised Alexa.

They continued their conversation as they left without looking back.Prince Alexander and his assistant couldn't do anything to save their lives.

"Miss Grant sure is an extraordinary woman."The assistant commented loud enough for Prince Alexander to hear.

Prince Alexander still crouching, could not utter a word.His face was all red and muscle on his jaw was twisting back and forth due to the pain he was feeling down below.

"You've got to be kidding me, you met him again and this time you what?" Andrea asked.

"I kicked him in his groin. Last, when I saw him, he was still crouching and holding his you know what. Hahaha!"Alexa was telling her cousin what had happened.

"Forget about that jerk. I don't ever want to see him again in this lifetime."Alexa commented.

"So! You've met the foreign lady that you're going to work for right?"

"Yup!And guess what!She told me that if she's satisfied with my service, she will offer me a position in her company overseas."Alexa was beaming with happiness thinking about the opportunity coming her way.

"You know I have a dream, right?"With this opportunity, I would be able to fulfill my dream surely."

"I know!You want to enter the beauty queen competition.That's why you're saving every penny you make for the expenses."Andrea replied looking at Alexa seriously.

"Guess what the foreign lady does for a living: she's a famous fashion designer and also the organizer of a well-known beauty pageant."Alexa proudly informed her cousin Andrea.

"Really? Wow!You sure got lucky this time.If you didn't have diarrhea the other day, you could have been working already, and you would not have had a chance to meet this lady."

"So! What kind of job would you be doing while she's in the Country?No... No. Don't tell me; she offers you to be her model and spokesperson."Andrea was only playing with Alexa.

How could she know that was precisely what the lady had offered Alexa?

Unfortunately, the offer has a clause; if she does an excellent job being her assistant for a week.

The lady would sign her to be one of her models and the possibility to become a candidate for Miss Elegant Beauty Queen.

As long as I don't run into that man again, I should be more than excellent.

Alexa did not know what fate had in store for them, well she would find out sooner or later.
