Chapter 33 - NOT EDITED YET

Because of that, although Clyde thinks that his husband was acting weird tonight, he still nodded his head in agreement

"Alright, it's not bad to take some rest but we should go only after that butler was kicked out. With the scene he created with me today, it's only a matter of days"

After receiving an answer that is favorable to him, Ryden felt elated. The two strolled around the garden for around an hour just talking with each other casually before Clyde decided to head back to the dining room

However, although Clyde planned on going to the dining room, Ryden on the other hand has a completely different plan

Without Clyde's control, he was drag by his husband not to the dining room but to the terrace attached to the Manor

While the pair of husband and wife was taking a stroll, David was busying himself to help his boss

When Ryden whisphered at the maid earlier, he told them that for tonight's arrangement, they should all listen to his good friend

As such, David was the one that supervises the cooks of the Manor. He ordered them to cook something that are on the lighter side and also don't have much lingering taste

He didn't forget to occasionally 'taste' the foods although David really just want to eat again

"No, no, no, not like that. We need to serve whatever food that is in a pleasing manner! Form that in a heart shame!" David said after seeing the state of the unknown food

As a commoner, David naturally don't know the dishes that people that are part of the High Society eats. However, that doesn't matter

Cooking is for the cooks and David only has to make sure thay tonight's dinner would be as romantic as possible

Making the food looks romantic are generally only done in two days. The first one is that a person could cook personally for the one that they love

As Ryden is not someone that can cook, the first one was crossed out before that thought can even enter his or David's mind

As such, they can only do the second most romantic thing and that is shaping the foods into the shape of love which was the heart!

Whether it be the steaks, the salad, and even the cake deserts, all of them were created or formed to have a heart shape

David followed the maids and had them put the plates on the terrace where the tables and chairs are already arranged properly 

With how kind Clyde was and with how fearsome Ryden was, none of the maids dared to play some tricks and all of them did their jobs as if their life depends on it

"It doesn't look romantic enough" David thought after seeing the set up. He might not be used at how grand a royal's manor but David is a romantic

He can feel whether the venue is suitable for couples or not. Although he heart shaped foods look quite nice, it still wasn't as romantic as he hope it would be

As such, a frown appeared in David's large face before realization dawned at him

Right! Flowers! What is more romantic that flowers?

Flowers are like at the top of the cliche but still sweet things to give to the person you love

Even if you don't gift the flowers, these beautiful ornaments are still used in a romantic set up

Fortunately, when David was just entering the Manor, he already saw the garden connected to it

That garden was more than 10 times larger than any of the house or inns that he stayed at

Surely, there are a lot of flowers planted in there

"Pick some red flowers from the garden for me" David asked the maids politely

Although he was not the type of person that grew up ordering the maids to get him the things that he need, David still has a 'job' to do

David can only inconvenience the maids by ordering them but he already resolved himself in apologizing to them after the work is done

After all, David still has to think where he should place the flowers. It was a really a surprise for people to learn just how romantic this brute guy was

When the maids returned wtirh baskets of flowers, David immediately pluck the petals and threw it to the ground, making sure to arrange them in a nice and aesthetically pleasing way

When the work was done, David urge the maids to go back in their quarters before their boss arrives

David himself also was about to really head back to his room when he remembered something 

"I planned on using this when I finally had my own lover but since it's for boss, I can only help him" David said with a sigh before returning to the terrace

David took out something in his pocket. It was a small cloth bag and he poured its content to his palm which was a single res pill

"I spent a lot of money to buy this" David thought bitterly but his sense of brothership still won over him

The man's eyes landed on the bottle of wine placed on the table and he removed its cork with bare hands

With his muscular David was, people might even scoff at him if they were to learn that he still needs the tool that the less physically strong people use to open bottles of win

After opening the wine, David crushed the pill in his palm and pouring the powderized drug inside the wine bottle 

"Hehehehe, I wonder how grateful boss would become after tonight" David thought proudly before returning the bottle's cork and only then did he retired for the night to have a much awaited rest

As soon as Clyde saw the state of the terrace, he had an urge to vomit. Just who the hell did this?

What is with these unnecessary flowers scattered around the table? Not to mention, even the steaks and othet dishes were in heart shapes

This was just too much! It's like whoever did this was trying to be as romantic as he can yet went overboard with it

Clyde shot his husband a look but contrary to his ugly countenance, Ryden looks pleased and satisfied

In Ryden's eyes, the girls from earth likes guys that shows effort and are romantic enough to prepare something like this

Although there are no girls in this world, the omegas have the same personality as them

With Clyde being an omega, he should also like romantic set up like this, right?

As such, Ryden stared at Clyde as if he wants to receive the man's adoration

Ryden looks like a pure kid waiting for a praise and Clyde don't have the heart to be brutally honest with him

Clyde can only think that this is Ryden's way of saying sorry for what he did earlier this morning

Anyway, with how stupid Ryden at some areas, it wasn't a stretch to say that he prepared all these ridiculous stuffs just to earn Clyde's forgiveness 

After all, Ryden might be annoying but he also has a good heart

"I-it looks n-nice" Clyde lied through gritted teeth. He thinks that whoever will like something like this have a problem on their brain

Clyde indeed would appreciate romantic suprises and venues. However, if it's too much like this then he would rather not receive any romance his whole life!

With an urge to vomit inside him, Clyde let Ryden guide him to his chair

Ryden even showed a gentleman side as he pulled the chair for Clyde before he sat on the opposite side

Wanting this night to end as fast as possible, Clyde started busying himself with eating whatever he could grab

However, in Ryden's eyes, his wife felt so touched with the surprise and out of embarrassment, he can only use eating as a way to avoid looking and speaking to his husband

"Hehehehe, he looks cute when he is this docile" Ryden thought in his head as he too starts eating

Compared to Clyde's sophisticated way of eating, Ryden was like a mannerless kid but this contrast wasn't surprising 

Clyde whether in the Empire or earth has to learn how to eat properly without making a mess

If not, his parents would scold him nonstop as they think that they made them lose face

As for Ryden, he was in the army where sophistication is absent to everyone. While on earth, Ryden was an orphan. He doesn't have to eat like the rich does

Fortunately, although the way Ryden eats icks Clyde, he was more or leas already used to it and he just focused on his own food

The dinner finished just like that and Ryden decided to open the bottle of wine to pour himself and Clyde a drink

Who knows, if they get drunk, they might have a 'drunken mistake' together. That wouldn't be bad
