Chapter 12:The Seven Tales of Heroes.

What was the final indication of a hero?

When the girls were all young, they heard the seven tales when they were five years old. It was the same way for every girl. First, they'd tell you the story, and then they'd give you a cultivation book.

Apparently, one of the requirements for the book was hope. However, at their age, such a thing was hard to understand.

The seventh tale talked about a young boy like Lei Wei Ying. He had a mark on his neck, and a scar on his back. The chances of such a thing happening was hard to contemplate. Yet, the girls were amazed as they all stared at the foretold star scar.

"Lie Wie Ying! You're definitely the hero," Mei Xing said. The girls all giggled as they looked at his back. However, what exactly was on his back? It was a star scar, but there was no way for him to see yet. It was extremely frustrating not being an owl. If he was, he could turn his head and looked as well.

The crowd of eighteen-year old girls backed away as Lie Wei Ying.

"So, can you all point me in the direction of the counts." Lie Wei Ying stood up as one of the girls walked him into the street. It was once again full of women with their head down as the men called steeds went about their business.

For some reason, not a single man looked at Lie Wei Ying. It was almost as if he didn't exist.

"The counts are all in the tower on the hill," Feng Mian pointed. "However, unfortunately, it's time for us to go to work," Feng Mian said.

The girls all nodded at him as something seemed to possess them.

"Thank you.. for… helping us… We'll be… normal in a few… hours."

The girls who were just as happy as could be walked off into the street, and it caused Lie Wei Ying to scratch his head. He looked towards the tower on the hill and took off towards it. However, as he went along his way all he noticed was the odd look in the girl's eyes. What exactly was happening to them, and why was Feng Mian the last one to leave?

"Uhm, Lie Wei Ying," The OP system said, "I have something I have to tell you. I'm not the only system in this universe." The overpowered system sighed as Lie Wei Ying flew forward. "Unfortunately, I actually was born with 999 other systems. However, just so you know I'm the strongest."

Lie Wei Ying scratched his head. He tried his hardest to connect the dots; However, wait why was there so many of them?

"System so are you saying this could be one of your brother systems?"

"Yes, it is indeed most likely one of my stronger brothers. However, I still haven't figured out which one yet. I'll let you know once I figure it out."

Lie Wie Ying nodded as he reached the end of town.

The girls were all engaging in some sort of hypnotic routine. However, most of their jobs seemed to be taking place indoors. The men called steeds seemed to be following them checking their eyes and clothes. Occasionally, they'd get anxious if a girl nearly tripped. It was quite strange what was going on in this town.

Regardless, Lie Wei Ying arrived at the castle of the Counts and a man was there waiting for him.

The door opened, and he was waved forward into the castle.

"The counts are waiting to see you, young master. Please walk in the door and take your time."

Lie Wei Ying scratched his head as he looked at the man opening the door for him. It was almost like he was some sort of undead old butler whose head would fall off if he tried to shake it. However, he had a thing about hitting old men, so he didn't kill him. He just glared at him with a fierce expression before he entered the castle.

This castle was known as Count Castle. It was a simple name. However, it really had much more to it. There was thousands of experiments that took place in here, and a lot of revolting monsters. Some of

them would be familiar to Lie Wei Ying. He had been reincarnated on earth in two different lives, and he once loved watching scary movies.

He was only five years old and was watching a scary movie in a car. It was getting to the good part and his dad turned back to look. A second later, he died not knowing what happened. It was getting to the good part too!

Regardless, the monsters were soon let out off their cages as Lie Wei Ying walked inside. Sure enough, as he did the old man transformed into a mouse and scurried off. He went to go report to his master.

Inside the hallways were extremely dark. However, Lie Wei Ying held out his hand projecting his Qi through the room. He was able to use his external energy well now. However, he was not up to the point where he could do much with it besides use it to create light and blast people.

Basically, the system was just waiting for the right moment to give him an extremely powerful attack. Lie Wei Ying wouldn't even need to learn from rare manuals. He had the system and it had access to the entire universe! However, to keep it balanced some of the items were extremely overpriced.

Regardless, a second later, the floor below him seemed to begin to quake.

Lie Wei Ying immediately drew his [Extremely Op daggers of the Inferno] as he waited for whatever that sound was. He could only see green eyes glowing in front of him. However, it was weird how they showed up suddenly.

"You've encountered twenty unknown monsters. Estimated Rank: Budding Soul Stage."

"You've learned the attack [All good things come to the end!]"

Lie Wei Ying smiled as an interesting feeling flooded into him. It was like he just learned a new move instantly without any work!

"Die you filthy human," An extremely ugly unknown monster screamed. It looked like a gigantic wolf, however, it was just a wolfs head on a human's body. They were extremely fast and neared Lie Wei Ying as they twisted spears towards his small body.

Sparks started to fly as Lie Wei Ying twisted his blade. He was hoping to get to explore more before he had to battle monsters. However, this was truthfully a dungeon of monsters he walked into. If he entered on the second floor, it would've been being the ten remaining counts were.

….

"So, he seems to be have entered through the wrong doorway," Count Strongestman said. "I can't believe the little boy is so foolish! I wouldn't even go in there."

The rest of the counts all laughed before a young girl walked out into the room. She looked extremely beautiful in her green dress. However, there was some blood on her dress from earlier. Feng Mian walked over with some food in her hand.

"Uhm, why have the revered called me," She said mechanically.

If she happened to break into the golden core stage, this wouldn't be happening. However, the spell that was on her was weakening. It was a shame that they'd have to use her to stop that evil boy.

"Well, yes, we were hoping you would stay here for a little while." Count Strongestman held up his hands before a pair of chains seemed to levitate over towards him. "How about you tell us a story about him as we chain you up?"

The girl nodded and eagerly walked over towards the seat. The man next to her chained her up quickly, and then she began talking about how strong Lie Wei Ying was. She didn't even leave out how the girls all wanted to marry him if he really saved them.

One of the counts eyes twitched. His name was Count Seed, and he really liked one of the new girls. He was hoping to take her as his next servant, and this was extremely annoying.

"Hmph, well, he will die soon," Count Strongestman said.

However, Feng Mian shook her head. Even when she was hypnotized she still couldn't see him dying.

….

"Boom x 15"

Lie Wei Ying sliced one of the wolf mask wearing men in half. The remaining army all gathered around him laughing with menacing tones in their voices.

"Ha, do you really think it is that easy to kill us mighty wolfmen! We're going to kill you and then eat you to grow stronger!"

Lie Wei Ying sighed before he blasted a hole in the ground. He kicked the body he just sliced in half before all the men gulped. Their brethren whom they thought would not die died tragically. A second later they were all terrified and began fleeing.

"The little monster knows are secret! Run!"

They were planning on making it back to their HQ where the strongest monsters were waiting. However, Lie Wei Ying pulled out his daggers not giving them a chance. He hopped off one foot and flipped 100 times in the air spinning his blades as his Qi gathered.

A fierce dark flame from the seventh hell, where the inferno came from, flourished at the top of the dagger.

[All good things come to the end!], He screamed as a large twenty headed flaming snake was birthed from his hilt. It flew towards the nineteen remaining wolves before it struck.

"Congratulations you've killed 19 wolfman monsters."

Exp + 200,000

Exp + 300,000

Exp + 100,000

….

"Congratulations, you've leveled up to Golden Core Stage 8."

"Strength has increased by 70%"

"Experience till next level 800,000"

Lie Wei Ying smiled before he kept walking down the hallway. It had a very mysterious vibe to it.

In front of him there was a lot of open cages with no monsters in them. However, he saw some a small girl shivering in the corner.
