Chapter 29:Lady Death Is On Your Side.

The system finally noticed what was going on and screamed for the boy to go faster. "Break through the heaven's and kill that bad dad!"

Lie Wei Ying tried hard but couldn't do it yet. He didn't have the training, nor the skill. Indeed, being overpowered had its limits. He had no way of reaching the princess as the sword got closer, and closer and scratched at her flesh. Yes, she would soon probably die to her dad. Then, he will kill that man a thousand and one times and burn him after he desiccated his body. After that he would pass it around and have people beat him against the ground until all of him was fully gone. Yes, however, he still held onto a twinge of hope.

The princess in front of him was a girl he had saved just thirty minutes ago. However, since then he got to know her and remember a lot about her. He even sat on her lap remember! She felt nice, and his three-year-old body felt like it needed for her to survive. She was like one of those women who you just wanted to live forever, and perhaps she could. Unfortunately, the blade looked like it was seriously going to be her end.

What the hell kind of dad was this!?

He was even worse then the grim reaper! Even the grim reaper would probably kill him if he wasn't already past his level. It gave the grim reaper inspiration to train in fact.

The grim reaper itself had the death system. It required people to die to gain power, and it felt rather complacent. However, one of its abilities let it see who was involved in death's grasp. He saw Lie Wei Ying trying to reach her, and he saw the girl who was about to die! Now, this meant he had to train! How the hell was the boy so strong already! Moreover, he also looked on the boy with a kind of understanding. Sometimes, you couldn't do things alone.

"The grim reaper has noticed you and will still kill your dad in five years. However, he has provided you with the boost of death's last light. It will amplify your speed anywhere from 50-100x. Good luck with the roulette of death."

Lie Wie Ying smiled as he felt something odd come over him. All he needed was 60x speed to make it up to her in time, and he felt incredibly fast. The boy seemed to get so fast that he was breaking the rules of the universe. It was at this moment that the grim reaper started training. He really shouldn't be helping someone who he'd have to fight. Luckily, the death system was at number 12 on the systems list. He was only a few below the alternate reality system.

The chancellors of the universe were starting to get over the boy. He would have to face a tribulation, and they expected him to be dead, so they didn't have to worry about him anymore. However, suddenly, on the mirror of ridiculously odd occurrences a number showed up. He had, indeed, achieved 87x his previous speed. He had gotten 87 on the spin.

The chancellors just dropped to his knees. He was at the monogod stage and was only a million times faster than a boy at the golden core stage. This was madness!

"So, you thought I couldn't make it in time?" Lie Wei Ying caught the blade in the bad man's hand as the king looked at him like he was a ghost.

His entire body was glowing black, it was full of the Dao of Life and Death, and a red light seemed to be mixing in with it as well.

"Congratulations the Dao of Love and Loss has reached 3% mastery."

"Congratulations, unintentionally the Grim Reaper has strengthened your Dao of death, mastery 32%"

Lie Wei Ying smiled as he broke the blade in the man's hands to pieces.

The king hmphed as a new set of blades spun around him. It looked like hundreds of crane beaks in sword form. It was as fully evolved Dao.

Lie Wei Ying sighed in relief and pushed Ying Yue back. In fact, he kind of sent her flying. He didn't know his own strength.

"Boom!"

The king laughed, "Hmph, you think I can't get through you to kill my daughter? You're just a puny golden core cultivator stuck in a delusional world. So, you have three Dao's that aren't even mastered. I have 3 mastered Daos!"

The system just shook his head. "He doesn't know about me kid. Show him what a system can do for you."

Lie Wei Ying in the Op world nodded. However, when he entered this time he noticed it wasn't as blank as before.

"Have you changed the color in here system?" He really shouldn't be noticing something so not relevant right now, but it was kind of odd. He swore it was a different color white.

"Yes, it is indeed a different color. I've changed it to royal white. In honor of my new boss who's going to kill that bad king out there. Hmph, he's funny if he thinks you can lose to such a weakling."

Lie Wei Ying smiled and stopped hiding in his brain.

….

Countless blades were coming towards Lie Wei Ying. It seemed like countless angry bird beaks tried to peck at him. His path to the domain of infinity could barely protect him, and his [cloud defensive arts] seemed to be getting eaten. This didn't look good for him.

"Clang Clang Clang!"

….

Yu Yan unburied herself from the rubble and looked down at her torn dress.

The air was blowing weird in the room, and the atmosphere seemed bloody along with the mood. Half of the royal guests had died from this little skirmish. It was unfortunate that most of the men in here were at a lower level. However, Ming and Chao were still alive, and both were shaking in their boots.

"Uhm, who do we protect the princess or the king?"

"Well, you like the princess right Ming? Doesn't that make the most sense," Chao commented.

Ming was aghast. "You've known this entire time, and you still chose to come with me. You knew that was a suicide mission, and you still followed me."

Chao patted him on the back. It was not too long ago that their captain told them about the king's plan. They had gone on that adventure knowing the risks. Chao, however, couldn't turn his back on his best friend Ming. It was like they were salt and pepper. Your food would taste horrible without it.

….

Lie Wei Ying fought unbelievably well against someone at the quasi-immortal level. Yes, the king was not technically a full immortal, but he was very close. He had a full Dao and only needed to receive the inferno tribulation that Lie Wei Ying would also receive soon. However, his would be much easier than Lie Wei Ying's if he survived. Overpowered characters would never be shown mercy from the heavens. Especially with the strongest of all characters! Hmph, yes, the system had high aspiration for Lie Wei Ying's future. Unfortunately, now he wasn't there yet.

"Whoosh!"

Yu Yan showed up behind the immortal king with the angriest expression Lie Wei had ever seen on the girl. He looked at her and knew this wouldn't be good for the king.

The king realized he had to step up his game, however it was hard enough facing the boy. Why the hell was the little kid able to defend his domain for so long? That damn fluffy cloud must have been a gift from the heavens! He should have died and bled blood like 20 seconds ago!

Lie Wei turned in the air as he spun with the image of the cosmic inferno behind him. The [extremely Op daggers of inferno] broke through all the man's Domain.

It was at this moment Lie Wei Ying determined the problem with domains. Even though they had great power, they could only really delay your opponent and hinder him enough for your blade to do the killing. All the annoying pecking stopped once the inferno image took the stage. The cosmic god tear weapon was no joke.

Lie Wei smashed the inferno blades into the king's legs as he spun around hundreds of times in a second. Yes, it was a hard hit, and they were moving fast.

Yu Yan right behind him didn't hold back either. Her foot seemed to transform into a sharp wing of some notorious food Lie Wei hoped to someday taste.

"Poof!"

….

"Well, its nice seeing you again," Yu Yan smiled, "Who are those kisses from."

Lie Wei Ying gulped as an angry king charged back out of the rubble. However, he wasn't sure what he was more concerned about. The girl with a pleasant smile in front of him with the chicken wing, or the crazy father of his supposed wife to be. It was days like these he was glad he had the [cloud defensive arts]. He could hide in his cloud.
