7 Bloodthorn City

"Woah, my power just skyrocketed!" He was excited by his sudden power boost. Now, he didn't feel so worried anymore about being surpassed by fellow new players and relaxed a bit. "So Sebastian, want to start the construction of your new city?" He turned to face her and nodded. She walked to his right side and waved her right hand, summoning an iron, circular table in front of them. The world's map appears.

"The main world all player spawn into is Elbenon, its map is before you. Now, please choose the location of your castle and city." A vague map with ten continents appear.

Norheim

A continent shaped like the combination of Norway, Sweden and Finland. About 70% of its surface is covered in ice, it was as large as 200 times the earth's surface and it had a medium concentration of mountains with one in the center being the largest. It is located on the north east side with the continent of Terradeus located south west of it. Despite its size, it is the smallest of the ten.

Terradeus

A continent shaped like a jagged Australia combined with antarctica, Australia being on the west side while antarctica blending 30% of its length on the east side. It is mostly covered in green with small patches of ice on the north and a small strip of desert on the south. It has many hills but had only 75% concentration of mountains compared to Norheim. It's size is 850 times the earth's surface and it is located slightly more west & south than where europe stood in the world map. Terradeus is connected to the continent of Anansha by land on its eastern side. It is the fourth largest continent

Anansha

A continent shaped like Asia but without Indonesia and the Middle East, the Korean peninsula being thrice its previous size, Asia's having twice its length while the western chinese provinces retain their previous size and the western chinese provinces and western russia's form becomes more jagged. It is mostly green with high concentrations of mountains in the central, western and southern areas, the western areas having only three fourths of its previous desert and a large desert covering southern mongolia and a fourth of the west chinese province of Xinjiang. It is land connected to the Khefrata continent on its southwest and its size is that of 3600 times the earth's area. It is the largest continent.

He eyed the continents, they were to big to judge properly so he selected each one to get a better look. Based on his judgement, he chose the Terradeus continent. After choosing so the map zoomed on the continent and Hirani gave a detailed explanation on its condition, "The continent of Terradeus houses 16 empires and 63 kingdoms. Now please look at the map and choose your starting kingdom." The continent's land becomes divided into 89 uneven pieces. He looked at each kingdom and empire, finding a suitable area for his city. Thanks to the God Package, he had all information about the area including resources, political events and hidden secrets. In the whole continent he found 66 possible spots mostly situated near the continents central regions. Thanks to his passive skill, he then assessed each possible spot he found by amount of resources, strategic advantage, remoteness, nearby population and dispensability. While assessing them, Hirani gave him the guide book to help him make his choice.

After using the guide book, the assessing speed doubled and he managed to narrow it down to 13 spots. To narrow it down further, he looked for areas that had benevolent rulers. The number narrows down to 11. Then he narrowed it down further to 9 by finding areas with more sexy girls. Then finally six by filtering in areas with monsters and beings around his ranks, the strongest person in that area is not stronger than him and a generally prosperous area. 5 minutes passed like a second in choosing which of the 6 spots he would choose, seeing his predicament Hirani gave a suggestion. "Of the six, I suggest taking the spot on the west of the Agareth Kingdom. That area has no one of higher nobility status so you won't have to use much hypnosis to remove any problems, it has many powerful beasts in the forest making your castle safe if it lies on the hills in the forest and there is already a preexisting trade route nearby that the kingdom overlooked. Building there would boost your relationship with the kingdom."

Taking her advice, he chose the Agareth kingdom's west side, Regarus forest. He decided his city to be a medium city named Bloodthorn located near the intersection of two rivers where land is fertile and it's only a short distance from a cave system within the cliffs containing an abundant supply of rare ores and materials. While for his castle, he placed it not too far away from the city, about 37 km away so that no one would notice the castle or the dark cloud. "Now, do you want to design your city or castle first?" He quickly replied, "I'll go with my city first." Then Hirani started explaining. "Due to being a medium sized city, the city's maximum area is only 100km^2. Based on a distribution I did, There will be a 20m thick wall surrounding the city. It's up to you what you want to do with it but after deducting that and road plots, I got you 100 massive plots, 500 very large plots, 1000 large plots, 2000 medium plots, 4000 small plots. Also you have 6.3 hm^2 worth of land left behind that you can develop into anything."

A holographic image of an empty city appears on the table. The plots are all labeled inside the of the image and the wall area is clearly outlined. With his upgraded intelligence, he recalled some things he learned during history class about how ancient people built cities and their countermeasures against threats. For defense, he used up 16 large plots to build mana surveillance towers. These towers can detect enemy presences within a 100 km radius. Then, 84 large plots for barrier towers to defend against monsters and threats from beyond the city walls. 200 large plots are then used for building mage towers of four different elements distributed evenly among the four quadrants of the city. 100 large plots for ballista towers and another 100 large plots for golem arrays to summon stone constructs to protect the city. He planned to allocate half of the available large plots for defense, a fourth of the medium plots for defense and a fifth of the very large plots for defense.

For the medium plots, he allocated 200 of them for archer towers, 200 of them for a guardian beast summoning array and the last 100 of them for magic cannon platforms. As for the very large plots, he allocated 20 of them for barracks, another 20 for magic research facilities, another 20 for alchemical research facilities and while rest is for training grounds. After sorting out the defenses, he asked Hirani to move 12 massive plots at the center to the north and combine them into 3 enormous plots. He used the plot in the middle of the three as the city hall, he then moved the other enormous plots more further away from each other. He set the western plot as the teleportation hall while the other plot becomes the city's battle colloseum.

As for the rest, he told Hirani to manage it herself and used the remaining land to construct a graveyard and a statue of him to be erected in front of the city hall. Then, a holographic prompt appears and he selected confirm. The realistic hologram depicts the city's possible form before transforming into the empty hill where Sebastian plans to build his castle on.
