13 Tyrant's Power

After analyzing its weakness from the book, he commanded his two puppets to attack the horns on its head first. As the puppets approach, the beast opened its black eyes and red lightning bolts appeared from the beast's back. Before the puppets could lay a finger at it, the lightning bolts had reduced them to ash. Sebastian is not surprised at the outcome of his little experiment. After assessing the strength that each lightning bolt possessed, he should only be able to withstand only forty hits before being killed.

However, with his minor divine regeneration, he should be able to recover a few hits in less than a second. This should allow him to tank some attacks instead of wasting his stamina on dodging them all. While he stood and thought of a plan, the massive, dark beast stood up from its sleeping position and glared its black eyes at Sebastian. "Human, how dare you challenge me, the emperor of the forest. You will pay for your trespasses!" The Tyrant Beast King's voice boomed, echoing through the forest.

Red lightning bolts appeared in tens from the crystals on its back and shot towards Sebastian. He immediately dodged before countering with a rapid barrage of slashes using his black sword. Despite its powerful slashes, the attacks only left scratches on it black scales. The beast countered by using its tail like a spear, trying to impale its opponent. Sebastian then took out the Twilight of the Dragon Kings and wielded it on his left hand. After dodging attacks for two minutes straight, he noticed an attack pattern.

The beast would use its tail to attack for thirty seconds straight before taking a stop of about ten seconds. While it took a stop, the number of bolts emerging from its crystals doubled. He waited for thirty seconds for the tail to take a rest and when the tail retreated, he rushed towards its back, attacking the crystals on it. He used Dance of Swords on its back and jumped around while executing it, causing many dents and scratches along its back.

Becoming annoyed, the beast huffed in anger and increased the lightning bolts strength twice. Each lightning bolt used to be relatively easy to block but after it increased its power, the bolts knocked him a few centimeters back. Normally, this would be negligible but having to dodge hundreds more of the same attack would slowly overwhelm him. He jumped off its back towards the hill and tested out some of his other skills.

He opened his cape wide like a bat's wings and groups of large, red runed bats appeared from the cloak. The bats flew at fast speeds towards the Tyrant Beast, upon impacting, they would explode and slowly form small wounds. As the beast released lightning bolts to attack him, the bats would take the hit and explode alongside the bolts of lightning. He then jumped high up and floated above the beast before using Sword Tomb to summon a rain of black swords.

The swords corroded some of the scales, weakening its defense. Upon touching cracked ones, the swords would create wounds. As he started to have wounds, the beast decided to become serious. A black aura emanated from the massive beast and its claws turned blood red in color. It looked up at the floating enemy above it and jumped up. The force of the jump caused the trees around it to become completely flattened. Upon jumping, it started to spin like a tornado and pointed its sharp claws at him.

It planned to rip him to shreds using strength alone. Sebastian quickly casted Sword Reaper on it. A black sword penetrated the flesh near its heart three times until a slightly pulsating tissue is exposed. The pain in that area caused the beast to lose its momentum and went off course. Taking advantage of this opportunity, he flew towards its exposed belly and used Whirlwind of Death. As its defense has weakened, the spin of his blades quickly tore through its scales. A scratch shaped wound formed on its belly and it fell down to the ground.

Upon falling down to the ground its body lying on the crater, it gave a short chuckle and spoke, "You are the first to witness my true strength. You should be proud to DIE HERE!" The red crystals around the crater started transforming into red flashes of light. The crystals are being absorbed by the beast. The red crystals on its back started to grow, all of its horns and claws turned a menacing purple. Before Sebastian could react, hundreds of lightning bolts shot towards him at near Mach speeds.

With his two blades, he managed to block most of the attacks. However, due to being slowly overwhelmed he is struck by four simultaneously after a minute of blocking and dodging attacks. The lightning bolts that struck him forced him to fall from the sky and landed hard on the ground. Not giving Sebastian time to recover, the Tyrant Beast King jumped high up into the air and crashed down on him like a meteor.

The force of the impact is so great that even Bloodthorn city that's around 60 miles away received a 5.6 richter scale earthquake for 3 seconds. Around the crater, all the trees in a 12 mile radius are completely flattened. Even the hills shattered and are blown away by the shockwave caused by the attack. All monsters within a mile are either severely injured or completely flattened. Regardless of whether they are Immortal rank or not.

Not giving its enemy time to recover or dodge, the beast used its eight arms to shred him. A flurry of sharp claws descended on Sebastian. If not for his minor divine regeneration, he would have been shredded to tiny chunks of flesh. While in immense pain, he focused himself to use a skill. Using his draconic blade, he used the skill Draconic Familliar: Black Destroyer. He summoned a black dragon around thrice his size.

The black dragon had the same rank as Sebastian and possessed 70% of his attributes except for his health in which the black dragon had 14 times more. With its own mind, the dragon saw its master under attack and charges a large black sphere pulsing with red energy. It distanced itself from the distracted Tyrant Beast and continued charging its powerful attack. After 12 agonizing seconds for Sebastian, the black sphere of energy is fired towards the beast by his dragon familliar.

Upon touching the scales of the Tyrant Beast King, the black ball of energy bursted into a large explosion, sending the Tyrant Beast King flying hundreds of yards away. The dragon waited for its master to recover and stand back up before asking for a command. Using telepathy, he commanded it, "Black Destroyer, use that attack whenever you have the chance. For now, just use your other skills and always aim at its horns." The dragon nodded before forming twenty four spears of black fire around it.

Upon recovering, the Tyrant Beast King instantly charged at the duo with full power. Its aura began to rise and its body started to be coated with dense red sparks. It roared loudly and sent hundreds of lightning bolts towards the duo. Not wasting any time, Sebastian activated the Curse of Wrath and prepared to dodge and block the incoming lightning bolts. When the lightning bolts started to reach within 100m from them, the black dragon mobilized the spears of dark fire to counter the lightning.

Sebastian used Dragonfire Blades and summoned 4 pillars of fire to scorch the incoming Tyrant Beast. The pillars of fire managed to scorch the beast surface, injuring it and weakening its defense. As the beast arrives, the duo almost failed to dodge the incoming charge, only dodging by a few feet. Not wasting any time, the beast stood back up and summoned condensed versions of its lightning bolts. These condensed rods of red lightning caused craters to appear whenever they strike.

In a span of less than ten seconds, the central region had been bombarded to the point where craters are almost everywhere. All monsters in the region had been reduced to ashes in this full powered attack. Sebastian's familiar had died within this attack, holes present all over its body. Without his minor divine regeneration, Sebastian would have been dismembered, parts of his body would have been ashes. The beast kneeled down in exhaustion.

That very attack had drained much of its stamina so much that it could not even stand. Fully regenerating in a split second, Sebastian attacked the weakened beast with an immensely fast whirlwind of attacks. Without its strong scales to dampen the effects of Sebastian's rapid attacks, the beast's body becomes quickly littered in large gaping wounds. To land the finishing blow, Sebastian executed Eternal Death to transform the beast into its puppet. A large black flash pierced through its brain, heart before appearing at the other end of its body. At last, the beast dropped dead.
