As the fiery ball begins to vaporize the dying Lucius' body, abyssal mist begins to appear out of thin air. The mist slithers in mid air towards his orifices. When the blonde haired knight saw the mist, he smiled wickedly as they enter his body and begins to disperse the ball of flames. When the ball of flames starts to dissipate, Sebastian notices that everything around him froze.

The cheering audience simply froze with many of them about to clap hands or open their mouths. All things suddenly fall to silence as the flames disperse. Suddenly, the ground shook and a divine masculine voice announced, "God Mission 1 Activated!" A notification appeared and its rewards brought a smile unto the future god's face.

'The rewards are just the best!' He could finally have a mythical skill and become a tier 4 entity. His development would stagnate at a peak genius' level if he did not raise his tier. Tiers multiply power based on their numbers. A tier 1 would double the user's power while every tier above would add 1 to the tier number. Ascending to Tier 4 would bring him a great boost as it multiplies his power by 5 times. His current multiplier from tiers are only 24, tier 4 would bring him 120.

This alone is enough for him to defeat a mutated Eternal-8 rank. Seeing the fact that his enemy's strength now significantly surpasses his, he activated all of his power enhancing skills. He summons the Black Destroyer and used both Impenetrable Regalia and Sultry Awakening. His tuxedo lost its waistcoat and blazer, only a half buttoned white shirt remained, showing off Sebastian's chiseled abs. His aura also grew as his power increased by a rank and a half, becoming equal to his opponent's.

When the ball of fire dissipates into a large puff of smoke, red eyes looked down towards Sebastian from the cloud of smoke. When the cloud quickly dissipates, a corrupted Lucius floated mid air. He did not appear like a golden knight anymore. His armor turned into a dark shade of silver, his head had a helmet on with pale blue smoke escaping from his eyes. His eyes are black like the abyss, half of his face only had bones remaining while the other half turned pale blue with sharp teeth penetrating his lips as he smiled wickedly.

An aura of evil started to emanate from his form and his lance lost its holy appearance and is replaced by a black lance with a handle seemingly made of personified human agony in dark coloured silver. Sebastian stared at him seriously, watching his form for any sudden attacks. The corrupted Lucius then charged at Sebastian with all his might. With his augmented strength, Lucius managed to flung Sebastian away by a few yards before moving in to attack.

'Why is he so strong!' Lucius' strength has apparently increased more than what he had expected. Before he could recover and attack, the corrupted knight delivered a hailstorm slashes, stabs and punches. He mercilessly tore Sebastian's body apart by sheer force until he became dismembered. He grinded Sebastian into splattered meat paste that stained the white wall of the battlefield in a bloody red. The knight turned its head away from his destroyed opponent and walked towards the arena's center.

While he walked away, Sebastian regenerated and summoned his monsters, commanding them to hide. He is delighted at the knight's lack of caution against his opponents. He could tell that Lucius believes himself invincible and that will allow him to kill him while he is distracted. When Lucius reaches the arena's center, abyssal mist seeps through an opening on the dry ground. The mist lingered around the crack while an ancient female voice spoke from it, "You have succeeded my champion. Now, I shall enter you and be free from my prison."

While watching this scene unfold, he activated power purity and sneaked up on him. The mist starts to enter the knight and his aura started to rise by ranks. 'I have to stop him, now!' He used the legendary skill Soul Slayer and stabbed the knight right at his chest. When his blade is about a few cm from the corrupted one's chest, he felt something grab his sword. When he looked towards the knight, he is no longer kneeling.

His face held a perplexed look with a hint of worry and Sebastian saw the knight stop his sword with his palm. The knight smiled evilly as a female voice sneered, "Nice try, too bad that now you will die for your insolence!" The knight grabbed onto death's origin and tightened his grip, attempting to shatter it. After a few unsuccessful tries, the knight's face turned in frustration and groaned, "Why won't it break!!!" Seeing the possessed knight focusing on breaking his sword, he mentally contacted his familiar and monster to charge at him with their strongest attacks.

Li Yao summoned a torrent of petals that caught the knight by surprised. The petals did little but managed to whittle his armor down slowly as they attempt to shred its foe. Being annoyed at the disturbance, the knight turned its gaze towards Li Yao and let go of Sebastian's blade. As it starts to walk towards Li Yao, a large purple ball exploded on his back and dented his armor. The knight turned towards the large black dragon and is then bombarded by a concentrated river of dragon fire from his left.

He turned his attention to the larger black dragon who then spewed another river of fire to drown his opponent. The fire did not harm him much but managed to soften his armor when the dandelion parasite summoned dandelions to secrete a weakness toxin unto the corrupted knight. Not sensing any danger from behind it, the dandelions manage to burrow under his skin and secrete the weakness poison into his bloodstream.

He slowly felt that the river of fire is getting stronger as he had a harder time holding it back. His armor began to soften just enough for Sebastian to attack. Commanding Li Yao to summon more petals, he executed dark whirlwind and attacked Lucius alongside the swarm of sharp pink petals. As he started to be incapacitated with the combined forces of dragon fire, blade petals and a flurry of blades, he began to draw out more abyssal mist from his heart.

Seeing him getting stronger, Sebastian used his shadow manipulation to determine the source of his power. As the shadows report to him the location of the corrupted knight's core, he ended dark whirlwind and executed sword reaper. As the swords penetrate his heart, the knight screamed in agony, "AAAAGAGSGGHHHHHHAAGHH!" The knight entered a weak stage and to end the knight, he executed eternal death and absorbed the knight.

The attacks cease as the knight is being absorbed into the death's origin blade. The witch took possession of the knight as its eyes turned blue and it glared at Sebastian with fury. "How DARE YOU!!!!!" It attempted to kill Sebastian by chanting a spell but when it did, black chains appear from the sword and dragged the witch and her host inside, screaming a long no as she becomes a part of the sword.

A notification rings as they become one with the blade. "Mission accomplished!!!!"

Before he could inspect the rewards he received, time began to flow around the space and everything have started to move again. The crowds cheered louder as they see the figure of Lucius fall onto the ground as Sebastian stands where he is, sweating. He then saw many women suddenly nose bleeding and collapsing on their seats and didn't understand why until he looked down. He saw some of his sexy abs exposed and his shirt still half buttoned while sweat drops flow around it, making it sparkle a little.

He quickly buttoned up his shirt and donned back his vest and waistcoat. "Sebastian wins the match!! Sebastian is now the winner of the Terradeus Grand Tournament!!!" The herald announced. The crowd cheers and claps as the tournament has been won. Some of the empire representatives who expected that empires are always superior to kingdoms have begun to reconsider their opinion and applaud the newcomer.

To the morning star empire, they now have something to watch out as winning won't be as easy anymore with this newcomer. As the winner, the name of Sebastian Adrian Cain the Dark Prince becomes known throughout Terradeus as the first person to have defeat a 7 time defending champion. Thanks to that, the Agareth Kingdom has started to prosper and empires have begun to take them more seriously. However, they have other plans for this super newcomer and have started their scheming.
