32 Demon Hunters

Three demon hunters each dressed in holy garments or armor jumped around the graveyard of Horizon city early in the morning. The sky is still dark and only the sounds of crows can be heard from within the graveyard. Mist covered the graveyard as the demon hunters silently jump from one tombstone over to another. A blonde short haired demon huntress suddenly stopped and alerted, "I can sense the trace of abyssal energy coming from the building."

She stood in front of a large stone mausoleum. Some parts of the old mausoleum had cracks and moss growing on it. In the light of day, it would appear like an old shrine but in the dead of night, it appeared like a haunted house. Mist seemed to be spewing out of the entrance. The demon hunters came to an abrupt stop upon their comrade's warning. A young, white haired demon hunter with black eyes stepped forward and begun tracing golden runes with his index finger.

An invisible spiritual barrier appeared, encasing everything within a 200m radius. The barrier is an epic ranked spell named 'Holy Ground', it is a spell designed to prevent any evil or dark entity from escaping in any way. Only Tier 4 evil/dark entities and above can escape the barrier. After a few seconds, the barrier is complete and a gong sound booms as the barrier completely seals the area.

The gong noise is enough to awaken Sebastian who opens his red eyes. Immediately, he asked his valkyrie of what's going on. The valkyrie replied, "A bunch of demon hunters are near the mausoleum. They seem to be following the very faint traces of abyssal energy around you after your fight with the Abyssal Witch." While fighting Lucius, some of the abyssal energy from the mist and from his blade remains in his body. His body is slowly absorbing the evil energy but it will take a few more hours before it is fully absorbed.

He guessed that the demon hunter from the other day is probably looking for the abyssal witch's champion too and that they must be from the demon hunters association. He immediately walked out of the black coffin and walked down the old hallway before walking up 30 steps of stairs. The blonde haired demon huntress sensed him approaching and spoke, "Brother, Sister, the abyssal demon is approaching. Get ready!" She took out a silver mace with fiery runes engraved on it.

Her blonde, two winged comrade took out an enchanted silver whip while her white haired comrade took out 12 silver telekinetic daggers. They all stanced for a fight, they prepared to subdue and capture the demon for the Holy Church's Inquisition. The association is one of the three main factions of the church but remains neutral on any forms of internal conflict unless demonic or malevolent entities are involved in the situation. The association only has 10,000 members and they only accept Eternal ranked powerhouses of at least the prodigy rank.

When Sebastian walked out of the crypt, his pale face slightly glimmers in the moonlight and his arms raised up to show a gesture of non aggression. Upon seeing his full human figure, the blonde demon huntress pointed her silver mace at him and aggressively asked, "Who are you?" Sebastian put his hands down and replied, "I am Sebastian Adrian Cain from the kingdom of Agareth. I mean you no harm." He noticed that his drop dead gorgeous appearance did not effect the girls as much as usual.

His appearance had reached the maximum amount of human male sexiness and most girls would either immediately nosebleed or pass out on sight. It appears that they have a defensive charm because he only saw them blush for a few seconds. When the girls looked at him, they become entranced for a few seconds while blushing. They are only snapped out of the trance by their white haired ally who commanded all of his telekinetic daggers to attack.

Sebastian could make out that the speed and force of eacg dagger is on par with an Eternal-5 rank's normal attack. Due to him having the power of an Eternal-6 rank, he managed to dodge all of the daggers with slight difficulty. Seeing that their ally is attacking, the girls headed straight towards him and attacked with their weapons. The winged huntress used her whip in an attempt to restrain him while the other huntress placed most of her power in the mace and headed straight towards him to knock him out.

Thanks to his immensely upgraded brain, he managed to trick them into having their attacks hit each other. The whip tied them up together while the full powered mace struck them both and flung them towards their white haired telekinetic ally. The young telekinetic hunter didn't manage to react as he was immersed in controlling the movements of all 12 daggers. Once they crashed onto each other, Sebastian almost immediately casted crippling thorns and drained their stamina quickly.

He stopped so that they would have enough to talk but not enough to fight. Thanks to their pain resistance training, they become active quickly and begun struggling but quickly stopped as they panted for air. "Why did you attack me?" Sebastian didn't show any gesture of hostility or danger previously, he wanted to know why they attacked out of nowhere. The white haired hunter furiously replied, "You attacked us with a charm spell first!" The young hunter believed that the girls are charmed with an attack.

As a hunter, he knew that demons would employ a variety of tactics to fight, even ones that used charm first before seducing them into becoming the demon's pawns. So it was only natural that he attacked because he thought that his allies are being attacked. Sebastian replied calmly, "No I didn't, check the mana in the air. Does it show any changes with my traces in it." The white haired youth looked at the air. People who learn magic are capable of seeing mana fluctuations in the air with the naked eye.

They could determine whether someone used magic or not by seeing if there are any changes in the air's ambient mana. Seeing as there is no changes in the air, the white haired youth felt embarrassed but he quickly justified his actions, "I may have attacked you without reason but you are a demon. Demons are the enemy of the Church of God, if I didn't attack you will." Most demons that exist are in opposition to the church due to them being the allies of God and that they persecute the whole race. People who are born as demons are persecuted by the church which cause them to grow up in opposition.

Due to this, demons and hunters will almost always kill each other on sight. As Sebastian had an almost human apperance except for the sharp fangs and the slightly pointed ears, it would be hard to prove he is a demon from looks alone. As the first vampire, he had reflections on mirrors, immunity to sunlight, silver and garlic and a reduced weakness to holy objects. However, he had no intentions on intervening in this war. "Do you think that I care about this war or would've immediately attacked you?", He asked.

The youth replied, "Of course you would, you must be lying if you had no evil intentions towards us." The youth held firm is belief that all demons are spawns of evil as his family was killed by a demon. Seeing his refusal to admit his mistake, he challenged, "Then use a truth spell on me." Seeing this as a way to prove his righteousness, he casted the stronger truth spell and binded it with a powerful smite skill. If Sebastian lied even in the slightest, he will be smitten with a powerful attack that can severely injure an Eternal-5 rank.

Once the youth stopped chanting, Sebastian spoke aloud, "I do not wish to attack any members of the church or be involved in their stupid war." The golden runes did not flicker or change even in the slightest. This clearly meant that Sebastian is not lying even in the slightest. The hunters made a short apology except for the white haired youth who just stayed silent and admitted defeat. Seeing not much of a threat, he let them go by retracting the thorns where they immediately escaped.

With his advanced combat domain, he could tell that the demon hunters are still watching him in the forest from 40 miles away. He chose to ignore it and transformed into a bat, returning to his castle. Seeing his transformation, the demon hunters asked one another, "What type of demon is he?" The short haired lady decided to record their findings and report to the church about a new type of demon they have discovered. Unbeknownst to Sebastian, his identity as a vampire has begun to be revealed.

Feeling a little horny, he went to the brothel and purchased their two best female prostitutes.
