"I'm going out!" Alex shouted from the doorway.

Elize got up from her bed and walked towards the indoor balcony. The house felt warmer with Alex home, although it's only been a day. For some reason, he kept going out and came back home smelling like perfume. She knew that it was a girl, but she didn't ask him about it even once. When he was ready he'd tell her, Elize thought.

She leaned against the railing and smiled at her brother.

"What are you looking at me like that for?" Alex asked with a smirk on face.

Elize battered her eyelashes at him, playing innocent. "Looking at you like what?" She asked.

Alex rolled his eyes and stepped out to the porch.

"Come back soon! I'm all alone here!" Elize shouted behind him as he closed the door.

She turned around and walked back to her room. She stood by the fireplace and observed the place. It was a mess. Her one black bra was hanging from the frame of the bed while the others along with her underwears and random other clothes were strewn all over the place.

"When did it get so messy?" She asked her to herself, picking up her clothing one by one from the floor.

She sniffed at her t-shirt and scrunched her face in disgust.

"Did I always smell this disgusting?" She wondered aloud.

"Yup." Agatha answered coming through the door.

"Ha ha very funny." Elize retorted, continuing with the cleaning.

"Where did hottie go?" Agatha asked, plopping down on the bed.

Elize rolled her eyes. Her friend apparently thought that her brother was hot and it was the most disgusting thing she had heard in her entire life.

"Please stop calling him that. He probably went to meet his girlfriend." Elize said, piling all her clothes in a basket.

"Boo." Agatha said and pouted in annoyance.

Elize walked out of the room carrying all her laundry and descended the steps to the kitchen. She opened the door towards the back of the kitchen to reveal the laundry room. One would think that a room that had nothing but a huge tub was a waste of space- but not when you're a witch in a place where technology doesn't work.

Elize dumped all of her clothes into the tub and kept the basket aside. She turned to Agatha and pointed to the laundry.

"Do your thing" She said.

Agatha rolled her eyes. "It's your laundry! When will you ever learn to do it yourself?"

Elize shrugged. Honestly she didn't bother to try doing it. Ever since she woke up on that day all she did was eat, sleep and wait. Wait for someone who should have come to her place by then.

"You think it's because Alex is here?" Elize asked, sitting down on the wooden floor.

"What is?" Agatha asked leaning into the tub.

"You know, Zack not coming here."

Agatha laughed nervously, refusing to look at Elize.

"Fine don't say anything." Elize mumbled to herself.

She watched Agatha as she raise her hands and whispered "Emundatio." A small spark like embers off a burning wood came out from the tub.

"Done!" Agatha chirped happily.

"Please be a dear and fold it for me." Elize said slowly getting up. She inched towards the door, keeping eye contact with her friend.

"No. You come back right here!" Agatha said stepping forward.

"Catch me if you can!"

Elize ran out of the room with Agatha following her around the house. They reached the front door of the house when it was suddenly pushed open from the outside.

"We playing cat and mouse?" Irina asked, showing her widest grin.

Elize ran to the red haired witch and hugged her. She hadn't seen her for an entire day, unlike Agatha who sneaked into the house every two hours.

"Ha ha. It's nice to see you too kiddo. Do you feel fine now?" Irina asked holding Elize apart to take a good look at her.

Elize nodded her head happily.

"Well she's more than fine now. The brat is making me do her laundry and now she wants me to fold her clothes." Agatha said folding her hands on her chest.

Irina chuckled. "Let's get it done then." She said, stepping inside the house and bolting the door behind her.

Elize stuck our her tongue at Agatha. She watched as her friend tie her hair in a pony tail and smile an evil smile. She knew that Agatha was not going to play fair.

"Irina." Elize called out to the older witch who now was inside the kitchen.

"Lapsus." She heard Agatha whisper the spell before she could react. Elize closed her eyes and braced for the impact, understanding the spell.

*THUD*

"Oh God Agatha!" She heard Irina scream.

Elize opened her eyes and looked at herself. Nothing. She was in the same position she stood before she heard the spell. Elize then looked in front of her on the floor. Agatha was lying down on the floor, with a hand on her behind, howling in pain. She rushed to her friend. What just happened? She thought.

"What happened?" Irina asked sitting next to Agatha on the floor.

"I pulled a spell on Elize and it deflected back at me." Agatha said, still lying down.

"But Elize doesn't know spells. How could it reflect back?" Irina asked, looking at Elize with a questioning look.

Elize shrugged.

"I have no clue as well." She replied.

She bent down next to Agatha and placed a hand on her shoulder. She felt bad for Agatha. The girl was just trying to pull a prank. Poor thing, Elize thought. She wished that her friend wasn't in pain anymore.

"I'm sorry." Elize said.

Just as she did, a warmth spread from her chest to her hands. Bolts of blue light that looked like electricity seeped in from her hands to Agatha's body. Elize stared at the phenomenon with awe. She heard both her friends gasp in surprise.

"It's gone." Agatha whispered under her breath, too stunned to speak aloud.

Just then the sparks stopped. Elize retracted her hand and stared at it like she was seeing it for the first time.

"How did you do that?" Agatha asked, slowly sitting up. Her eyes were enlarged in wonder.

"I. Don't . Know." Elize said, looking at her friends.

"You healed her!" Irina exclaimed.

"Without a spell!" Agatha added.

Elize looked at her hands again and drew deep breaths. She was overwhelmed by what just happened. She feared for the worst.

"Is magic seeping off of my body again?" Elize asked with a worried look n her face.

"I don't think so." Irina said getting up from the floor. She continued, "That stopped when you got initiated." She started to pace back and forth with a confused look on her face.

"Then how did she do it without a spell? She not only deflected my spell but also was able to heal me!" Agatha said, her hands flying back and forth, explaining the gravity of the situation.

Irina stopped. She then turned towards Elize, placing her hands on her hips. It was making her look quite serious, Elize thought.

"Let's try something." Irina said.

"Like what?" Elize asked.

"I need you to close your eyes and wish upon something really bad." Irina replied.

Elize stared at her friend in disbelief. "You're kidding me right?! Irina this is not some movie that we're playing parts in. I think there's something wrong with me." She protested, getting up from the floor.

"I know that you might not want to believe in such things but what are you going to lose by trying?"Irina said stepping towards her.

"But-"

"Just do it Ellie. If we fail, you lose nothing." Agatha said, leaning back.

Elize sighed. "Fine" She said.

She closed her eyes and wished really hard that the clothes got folded. She waited for two minutes and then opened her eyes. Her friends were staring at her.

"So? What did you wish for?" Agatha asked, narrowing her eyes.

"For the clothes to be folded." Elize said shrugging.

"What?!" Agatha asked, a smile playing on her lips. She then bolted towards the laundry room to see if the deed was done.

"Is it done?!" Elize shouted from the drawing room. She started chewing her lips nervously.

Agatha peeped out from behind the kitchen wall with a huge smile n her face.

"It worked?!" Elize exclaimed.

"Nope." Agatha replied and started laughing. Elize rolled her eyes.

"I told you that it won't work." Elize said turning towards the stairs.

"Wait." Irina said grabbing her hand. She continued, "Just once more. This time, wish upon something that you really badly want."

Elize groaned. She felt like this was madness. Of course she knew that Agatha was crazy but she didn't expect it from Irina. Elize nodded her head and closed her eyes once again, stepping away from Irina.

She thought for some time about what she really wanted at that moment. Only one thing kept flashing in her mind- her mate. She needed to be near him, to touch him, to feel his lips against her. She needed to be with Zack. A tear escaped her closed eyes and flowed down her left cheek.

"What?!" She heard Agatha exclaim.

Elize opened her eyes to see what it was about. She looked at her friend who was still standing in the kitchen. Her mouth was open and her face registered shock. Elize followed her gaze towards the fireplace.

"Uhhh.. how did I come here again?" Zack asked, a confused look on his face. His gaze was fixed on Elize.

Elize felt her heartbeat increasing in pace. She couldn't believe that she did it. She walked towards where he stood and stopped inches from him. She raised her index finger slowly and pushed it against his chest. She could feel his muscles very much underneath his t-shirt.

"You're real." She said looking up at him, with her mouth open.

"Yes thank you. But I was just in my office. How did I-"

"She conjured you." Irina interrupted, a proud smile on her face.

"She what?!" Zack exclaimed looking at Elize with disbelief.

"I conjured you!" Elize shouted happily jumping into his arms. Zack staggered back a bit by her force but hugged her back regaining it within seconds.

"This is huge stuff! Group hug!" Agatha squealed running into the couple and hugging Elize from her behind.

Elize laughed at her friend. This was huge indeed, Elize thought looking up at her mate who still appeared confused.

"Zack!" A voice thundered from the doorway.

Startled, Elize looked towards the direction and saw Alex standing there, fuming. Her eyes widened in shock. But before she could say anything, Alex had shifted to his wolf and was jumping towards Zack.

"No!" Elize screamed.
