Chapter 129: Purple crown lion

Kai Min blinked her eyes as a brightly glowing circle appeared below her legs. Before she could analyze what was going on, a different sensation assailed her mind. The sensation was as if someone was shaking her body and mind.

Kai Min involuntarily closed her eyes and held Zhan Chen for support. The strange sensation disappeared after few moments.

Kai Min opened her eyes and let go of Zhan Chen. She turned her head to take a look at the surrounding.

"Wow! What a beautiful place!", Kai Min exclaimed as her mouth opened up slightly. The scenery Infront of her was straight out of dream.

There was a beautiful waterfall at a corner. It made a meandering stream as it ran across the valley. Beautiful looking flowers and herbs were all the place. There were even small colourful birds who were chirping happily from time to time.

"Young master Chen, where are we?", Kai Min asked without even looking at Zhan Chen. Her eyes were still glued to the beauty of surrounding place.

"Have you never gone to any sect before?", Zhan Chen asked Kai Min. Kai Min shook her head in reply.

"Every major power has special places of their own. The natural beauty that you are seeing now is very common in powerful sects. Such places were made so that anyone can cultivate peacefully without bothering about the worldly affairs", Zhan Chen spoke.

Kai Min nodded her head as a look of longing appeared in her beautiful eyes.

'Heavenly sword sect, Xiantian sect, Frozen cloud sect' Kai Min thought about the three supreme sects of the continent. Moreover there was also clans and royal family. Kai Min's longing for central land increased as he observed the beautiful place Infront of her eyes.

"Who would have thought that there would be teleportation arrays in such a sect", Zhan Chen muttered. Teleportation arrays were not a strange thing to Zhan Chen. In his previous life, he had seen teleportation arrays in his continent. But there were very few teleportation arrays in the entire continent. So, he felt surprised when he saw teleportation arrays in the Cleansing Insense ancient sect.

"What should we do now?", Kai Min looked towards Zhan Chen.

"Give me a minute first. Let me observe the place throughly", Zhan Chen spoke to Kai Min. Kai Min nodded her head and waited for the response of Zhan Chen.

Zhan Chen had the experience of a life. He could see that the fading of barriers were not as simple as everyone think. Cleansing Incense ancient sect was a sect which could build teleportation arrays at its front gate? So, how could such a sect didn't have arrangements for any unforeseen circumstances.

Zhan Chen spread his soul consciousness as far as he could. "Hmm, what is going on there?", Zhan Chen murmured to himself as he noticed a crowd of cultivators in a distance.

He focused his soul consciousness at the surrounding of the crowd and understood what was going on. The valley they were currently standing on was adjacent to the herb mountain of the Cleaning Incense ancient sect. The people who were teleported here had already gathered at the entrance of herb gate. But they were being obstructed by the magical beast who was protecting the herb garden.

The beast was looking incredibly majestic. With it's length that reached almost five meter and height which reached over two meter, it could easily induce fear in almost every cultivator's heart.

Zhan Chen immediately identified the name of the magical beast. It was an incredible beast which could grow upto rank seven. Rank seven pointed towards the epitome of the cultivation of the world which was similar to human cultivators attaining seventh stage in cultivation. The seventh stage cultivators had another name. They were called as heavenly emperors. When such an expert was angered, heaven trembled beneath their rage.

"Kai Min, let's go there. There is an interesting thing happening nearby", Zhan Chen spoke and placed his around Kai Min's waist.

Her waist was slender and incredibly smooth. Zhan Chen enjoyed the feeling of her skin as he stepped towards the herb mountain of the Cleansing Incense ancient sect.

"Brother Luo, what should we do? Even with my truth seeking eyes, I couldn't gauze the strength of this beast", a middle aged man spoke to an imposing looking man who was standing opposite to him.

"Brother Zichuan, no need to worry. I have already sent signals to the other parties. We just need to wait for the arrival of the others. I can't believe that this beast could handle the assault of multiple warriors like us", the imposing looking man replied as he observed the magical beast who was looking at the warriors present with it's amber coloured eyes.

"Wow, what is this beast?", Kai Min let out out an astonished cry as she saw the majestic looking magical beast guarding the entrance of the herb mountain.

"It is a Purple crown lion. It is an overlord like entity among magical beasts", Zhan Chen replied.

"Purple crown lion!", Kai Min tried hard to recall the name from her memory but she couldn't recall anything even after thinking for a while.

"Friend, you seem to know about this beast", the imposing looking man looked towards Zhan Chen.

"You are?", Zhan Chen raised his eyebrows slightly as he looked towards the imposing looking man.

"I am Luo Zheng, may I know from which family this friend is from?", Luo Zheng asked.

Zhan Chen generally did not bother to deal with so called powerhouses of the Shredded mountain province. But he couldn't just ignore if someone behaving politely with him.

"My family name is Zhan. It is just a small family. No one should have ever heard about it", Zhan Chen replied with a smile.

"Friend, can you tell us about this magical beast?", Luo Zheng looked towards Zhan Chen.

"It is a Purple crown lion. It can generally found in places where thunderstorms regularly occur. With it's thunder affinity, it can easily survive in such locations", Zhan Chen gave a plain explanation to everyone present.

Luo Zheng asked some more questions but seeing Zhan Chen's reply was too vague about it, he didn't chat any further.

"Young master Chen, what are you planning? If you are thinking about competing for the herbs, then we should wait for the Shen clan experts", Kai Min advised Zhan Chen with concern in her tone.

"No need to think much. It is fine even if they do not come", Zhan Chen spoke nonchalantly. He once again wrapped his hand around the slender waist of Kai Min and looked towards the direction of the Purple crown lion.

Kai Min blushed heavily. There were so many cultivators here. Yet, Zhan Chen was so brazen with her. She struggled weakly. But Zhan Chen's grip was too strong for her. She couldn't pull away Zhan Chen's hand no matter how much she tried to push his hands away.

As expected, many jealous gazes came towards their direction. Zhan Chen was nonchalant as he pulled Kai Min close to his body. Kai Min's skin was not thick like Zhan Chen. She felt extremely shy with all the gazes coming towards her. She lowered her head to avoid the embarrassing situation.

It didn't take time for other cultivators to gather. Zhan Chen didn't know what trick Luo Zheng played but he could see some powerful cultivators hurrying towards their direction.

He wanted to see if any of his women coming but he felt disappointed. None among Shen Ruyan, Su'er, Ling'er, Li Shu came to this location. Forget about his women, he couldn't even see other Shen clan experts.
