Chapter 24: The problem that was troubling her

Zhan Chen could see that the veiled woman was deeply concerned about her inability for cultivation. She was trying to mask her anxiousness and difficulty by acting calm but it couldn't escape his eyes.

"Aunt Ruyan, if you don't mind, can I examine your hand for a bit?", Zhan Chen suddenly asked who was sitting calmly untill now.

"Chen-er, don't be rude. I know you are learning from your mysterious teacher but how can your knowledge help your aunt to recover?", Li Qingzhao chided from side.

"Sister Qingzhao, it doesn't matter. It is only seeing my hand. Moreover, how can I decline the first request of our little boy", the veiled woman laughed lightly.

She raised her hand towards Zhan Chen with a nonchalant attitude. Zhan Chen held her slender hand by her wrist and inserted a strand of his energy into her wrist.

"Aunt, please don't resist", Zhan Chen spoke. The veiled woman nodded her head as she didn't see any problem in his action.

Zhan Chen sent his soul consciousness towards her body and simultaneously checked the condition of her body with a stand of his energy. A frown appeared on his face after some moments.

"Aunt, are you cultivating an ice attribute technique?", Zhan Chen asked with a frown. The veiled woman nodded her head as she looked at Zhan Chen with slight curiousity in her eyes.

"Aunt, have you tried to use a high grade spirit medicine for raising your cultivation to Core Condensation realm?", Zhan Chen looked at the veiled woman.

Ruyan nodded her head as she blurted out, "How do you know?"

She looked at Zhan with deep curiousity and agitation in her eyes. It was too surprising for her to think that a sixteen year old boy could see through her problem just by holding her wrist.

"Aunt, your problem is more complex than you think. I can heal you but I have one condition", Zhan Chen looked at the veiled woman with clear eyes.

"Are you telling the truth?", Ruyan asked with agitation. Zhan Chen nodded his head confidently.

"If you have delayed your treatment for another five years, it would have become more difficult but now it is possible to solve your problem", Zhan Chen replied.

The veiled woman looked at Zhan Chen who was looking at her with clear eyes. She could see the confidence of Zhan Chen from his face.

"I can promise you anything as long as I can cultivate again", Ruyan looked at Zhan Chen.

"Chen-er, how can you demand anything from your aunt? She is like my real sister", Li Qingzhao spoke with a stern voice. Zhan Chen didn't say anything but he looked at the eyes of the veiled woman.

A slightly complicated emotion appeared in the eyes of Ruyan as she looked at Li Qingzhao. She shifted her gaze to Zhan Chen once and spoke, "Sister Qingzhao, please don't scold him. You have always denied my help whenever I have asked but now that this little brat need something, I will give him whatever he wants. It doesn't matter even if he can't treat me".

"Damn it, now I am feeling bad for whatever I am planning for her. Doesn't matter, she will be benefitting anyways as I am planning to make her my first woman. She will not regret it in future", Zhan Chen thought inside his mind.

"So, tell me what is it you want", the veiled woman spoke in an amiable tone.

"It is nothing much but I can speak this only in private", Zhan Chen spoke with a natural tone.

"Chen-er, what is it? What is it that you can't even speak Infront of me", Li Qingzhao spoke with a slightly irritated voice.

"Sister Qingzhao, he is already an adult. So, it is obvious that he has some private issues", Ruyan threw a curious glance at Zhan Chen.

"Ok, do whatever you want. I will come back after seeing other guests", Li Qingzhao threw a glance at Zhan Chen and left her room.

"Sister Qingzhao has already left. You can tell me what do you want", Ruyan spoke and looked towards Zhan Chen.

"Sigh!"

"Aunt, you have used an ice attribute spirit medicine for your cultivation and it caused the blocking in your meridians. You decided to forcefully open up your meridians but it backfired. You caused your meridians to be cracked up in the process. Now, you are feeling unbearable pain from time to time even if you are not cultivating."

"Am I right, aunt?", Zhan Chen looked at the veiled woman.

"You! How did you figure out? It is impossible to figure out the exact condition just by holding my wrist", Ruyan cried out in surprise.

"So, it seems like whatever I have said is the truth. I am not wrong in your matter then", Zhan Chen nodded his head.

"It means you really have a way to treat me?",Ruyan spoke in an agitated voice.

"Can you really treat my young miss? The life of this old woman will be yours as as you can treat my young miss", an old woman barged into the room by pushing the door. It was the expert who was following Ruyan silently.

"I don't need your life. What I need is a single thing from aunt. Now, if you can give me some privacy, I can tell my condition to her", Zhan Chen spoke nonchalantly.

The old woman nodded her head and left. Zhan Chen knew she was evesdropping but he didn't bother about her.

"Now, can you tell me me your condition?", Ruyan asked Zhan Chen. This time she looked at Zhan Chen seriously as she was already convinced by the skill of Zhan Chen.

"What I want is simple. You only have to allow me to give you a massage. After the massage, I will give you an option. No matter what you choose, I will treat you then", Zhan Chen spoke with a clear voice.

"You are not planning something bad, right?", Ruyan looked at Zhan Chen with suspicion.

"It is your choice. Whether you want to agree to my condition, it is your choice. But if you are agreeing, then I want you to cooperate with me wholeheartedly", Zhan Chen smiled slightly.

"You can rest assured. I will not touch anywhere inappropriate. Moreover, I need only fifteen minutes", Zhan Chen spoke.

Ruyan looked at Zhan Chen deeply. She tried to see thorough the intention of Zhan Chen but he looked at her with clear eyes. "Ok, I see no problem with your request. You can ask for anything besides this request of yours", she spoke to Zhan Chen.

"So, shall we begin then?", Zhan Chen asked her.
