9 An Amazing Adventure Awaits

It had been 2 months since the midterms and Cos had improved many of his skills, you could say he was Jounin level now and he had 50 points saved up, right now he was waiting in the Academy after the day had ended, for some reason Iruka sensei had called him here. As he was waiting he finally heard foot steps apporachimg him, when Iruka entered, he was followed by Inoichi and the freaking Hokage... What the HECK is going on. Iruka, Inoichi and the Hokage brought up a chair and sat down while calmly analyzing Cos. 'What the heck is going on... I didnt do anything bad... right?' As he was pondering the million dollar question the Hokage finally spoke up " Cos dont worry, you haven't done anything wrong but we are concerned anout your identity and your abilities"

"What do you mean?" he asked defensively

The hokage sighed "I dont want to do this either but for someone your age your simply too strong, from Iruka's mid terms your skills seem around Chunin level and we simply cant figure out how that's possible,many suspect you of being a spy"

Cos was starting getting worried " Um... so how do I prove Im not a spy?" He said trying to calm himself.

"Thats why we are here, the person on my right here is Inoichi Yamanaka and I would like him to roughly look through your memories, if you want you can refuse but you would have to leave the village"

Cos was freaking out 'crap crap crap, system help me out here'

[Host needs not worry, system has already created a background on host, and when people look through your memories they will see you as an orphan who grew up in a missing nin family and that all your jutsus were given by him. The rinnegan will be hidden]

Cos breathed out, he knew he was lucky he had the system "that is fine then Hokage sama, I will allow it"

The hokage nodded towards Inoichi and Inoichi looked towards him forming a hand sign. "Cos, Ill be checking your memories now and I want you to relax, this should only take a few minutes"

Cos did as he was told and felt Inoichi's consiousness within his mind but didnt feel anything, he concluded that this was the system's doing.

After a few minutes Inoichi's soul finnaly returned to his own body and he now had a wierd look on hos face. "Inoichi what's wrong?" Asked the Hokage

"Nothing hokage sama I have not found anything that remotely points to him being a spy"

The hokage was relieved for a second then asked "then whats with the look on your face?"

"Hokage sama, this kid is a genius even above Itachi, I would say his skills right now are in the mid jounin ranks!" Hearing this the Hokage nearly fainted, how the heck can a 12 year old be this powerful?! "Inoichi can you vouch for his strength?" Asked the hokage while trying

"Yes hokage sama" Inoichi responded

Hiruzen sat there for a while pondering something while Iruka was looked like he was about to faint.

After a few minutes the hokage looked at Cos with determinedeyes "Alright then, I hereby use my position as Hokage to grant you the rank of Special Jonnin over Ninjutsu (basically a chunnin but when it comes to his area of expertise, he has the rank of Jonnin)"

Cos was shocked, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise,

Cos heard a THUD sound and when he turned around to look at what caused it, he found Iruka had fainted and was now 'sleeping' on the floor. Inoichi was also shocked "Hokage sama is that really a wise decision? Many chunnins and gennins would be very mad, and not to mention danzo and the others"

"Now I know we are going to have some problems, but we cant just waste someone of his caliber in a gennin team"

"Still Hokage sama how would we explain it to the council?"

"Hmm Cos, would you be willing to accept a High A rank mission? This would give me time to convince the council as well as prove your skills?"

Cos thought for a moment" Hokage sama what mission would that be?" he asked, he didn't want to go on a suicide mission after all, he still had stuff to do in his before he died, heck he planned on becoming God.

"Yes, this mission would be to go to Kirigakure and assist the rebel forces who are trying overthrow the current Mizukage, as long as you can assist the rebel leader in some ways as well as talk about an allience between Konoha and Kiri your mission will be deemed as a success, the details are in this file" said the Hokage handing Cos a file named "Operation Overthrow"

While Cos was pondering this he got a system notification

Details: Assist Mei Terumi on becoming the Mizukage, this quest will require host to kill many shinobi and will grant host a massive number of points, this will also cause host to have friendly relations to Kiri

Cos pondered about the details about a change in the main quest. 'Although this would allow me to allow me to get points this could affect a lot of things while recruiting Zabuza... wait but if I can get friendly relations to Kiri getting Zabuza wouldn't really be a problem... And although the reward sounds cool too, would it be a more enhanced version of the eight inner gates?' You know what? special Jounin sounds good enough' having decided he informed the Hokage about the decision. Cos was informed that he now had 2 days before his departure to the hidden Mist.
