56 Chapter 56: Breaking The Habit 1

After Mei Chen's sudden visit, Ian had grown unusually silent.

He quietly lay beside Tia playing with his phone. Tia notice that something was amiss, so she casually asked him.

"What's wrong?"

"..."

Tia didn't think too much of it and continued on browsing in taobao. Seeing Tia ignoring him, he made big moves as he roll to his side. His back facing her.

Tia rolled her eyes and annoyingly sneered.

"Tell me what's wrong?!"

"Figure it out..."

"..."

In her fury, Tia abruptly stood up, a sharp stinging pain shot through her core but she endured it, she headed to the bathroom, she washed her face and grabbed a trench coat in her closet and march towards the door.

She can't deal with him throwing tantrums at her. She had enough. She figured she's gonna leave him be and go spend sometime with TP instead.

Ian hastily stopped her. He hug her from behind and whispered softly to her ears.

"Im sorry.. Don't leave me."

Tia instantly softens up upon hearing him.

"Then tell me why are you acting like that?"

"Why did you deny me to that little intern?"

He gloomily asked. He looked like a big kid who has been wronged. He can't understand why Tia needs to lie about their relationship.

"Im just scared. We haven't known each other for so long, I just met you last friday I feel like we're rushing into things..."

Her emotions have been all over the place this past few days and she feels like she was jumping easily into their relationship.

She feels like last night they were just caught up by the heat of the moment; A fleeting atttaction.

She wanted to sort out her feelings first.

"Who says that we only met just recently?!!" he berated.

"...."

Ian hugged her tightly, He felt hurt hearing what she said.

'What does she mean? Is she rejecting me?'

He was so immense in his thoughts that he didn't realized what he's doing.

His hug grew tighter and tighter around Tia's tiny waist. His strong arms constrict around her like a big python.

Tia winced in pain. His intense grip in her stomach made it hard for her to breathe.

She felt like her diaphragm was being crushed by him. She gasped, then she suddenly collapsed.

Ian panicked as soon as he realized what happened. He immediately call for an ambulance and rushed Tia to a nearby hospital.
