102 Chapter 102: Doki Doki 4

Mei Chen arrived at her house. Her face was flushed red and her heart has been throbbing like crazy she thought she would lose her mind.

"What did you just do you perv!"

She scolded herself. She went to her fridge and drank a glass of water. She's still feeling excited so she pour the cold water to her head.

She hastily went for a cold shower. Her body feels hot like she had caught fire. After her cold bath, she eventually calm down.

She lie on her bed and sent a text to Tia.

"Sis Tia Im home. Can I ask you a question?"

She immediately received a reply.

"that's good to hear. What do you want to know?"

"Is Dr. Kenny single?"

Tia burst out laughing when she received little Mei's text which gave Ian who was quietly stroking her hair a start.

"Hon, look here. Mei Chen got a crush on Kenny."

She excitedly showed Ian who just scoffed after reading the message.

"I think he's single. Why d'you ask?"

"Nothing. Just for research purposes (¹). ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"

"Good luck Mei-Mei I'll ship you <3"

Tia teasing reply made Little Mei's heart beat faster again as she remembered the softness and sweetness of Kenny's lips.

'Why does my heart kept on going Doki, doki I cannot think straight.'

Mei Chen spend the whole night thinking about Kenny's handsome face and his cute smile.

The next day she went to the office, she felt so groggy and restless for lack of sleep.

When she opened and read her emails, her sleppiness goes away and  she squealed so loud that her colleagues all look at her with weird expression in their faces.

The email she receive is from the HR department informing her that she had been appointed as Manager Tia Kim's secretary.

Tia's Residence---

Tia woke up and went to prepare their breakfast.

Yesterday, after Mei and Kenny left, TP and Charlie also followed suit allowing for the both of them to have a rest.

TP told her that they will meet today so they can have their bonding since they're both free anyways.

She cooked a simple fried rice and sunny side up egg meal for breakfast and the scent of sautéed garlic and onion whiffed to Ian's nose.

Waking him up with a growling stomach.

They happily ate their breakfast and cozied up in the bed after their meal.

"Tian-Tian, why don't you want to live with me? I just want to know your reason that's all."

Ian suddenly asked her, while she was lying in his arms and him kissing her forehead softly.
