116 Chapter 116: Her circumstances 1

One night in a humble house in A City, a pretty little baby girl was born.

They named her Tia which is a greek word for Goddess.

Her name befits her looks. She has a pair of clear round eyes, rosy chubby cheeks and soft pink lips.

Her skin was smooth and fair and she has pinkish fingers and toes.

Their neighbors who come visit and look at her will automatically claimed that an angel was born in their town.

Her family lived a simple life. Her father was a cab driver and her mom is a loving housewife.

Her dad's salary were just enough to provide for their basic needs. Nevertheless, the three of them lived happily together.

One rainy day, two police officer came by their house. She was just 4 years old that time but she could clearly remember it since it was just 2 days before her birthday.

After the police came, her mom kept on crying then they went to a white building with red cross at the entrance.

She saw her dad quietly sleeping with a white sheet covering his body. She doesn't understand why her mom kept on crying at that time.

She innocently thought her mom was just afraid that her dad will not be able to work if he kept on sleeping.

The police officer told her that her dad will be taking a long nap, one of the police officer was a woman and she gave her a rag doll that they have found in his cab.

They said its from her dad and he wishes her a happy birthday.

Tia accepted the toy and played with it. Not knowing that that was the last time she would ever see and be with her father.

2 months later, she and her mom moved to D City. A rural place within the mountain ranges in the northern part of the country.

Her mom rented a unit in an apartment called "Singles Bay" cause all of the tenants and even the landlady was a single mom.

The landlady was a granny in her 60's and she was well known as Grandma Lin.

She has a son who was a rookie police officer and Tia called her Brother Andy.

Her mom worked odd jobs just to provide for their necessities.

Her mom, Althea Zhang didn't get to study in college so she had a hard time looking for a consistent job.

Little Tia mostly spend her time together with her Grandma Lin who looked after her while her mother was at work.
