148 Chapter 148: Surprise 3

As soon as Tia fell asleep, Ian quietly went out of the room and headed to the kitchen.

The refrigerator was full of different vegetables, frozen meats and beverages while the kitchen counter was packed with fruits and condiments.

He asked his chef to bring all of it to the cabin. He was excited to cook food for Tia, grill some meat and do other normal stuff with her.

He wanted to personally pampered her and make simple yet special happy memories with her.

He went to the beach carrying 2 cans of beer and sat at the fine sand, looking pensively at the vast open sea.

His father purchased the private island after his abduction and called it his fortress.

He used to come to the island to think and de stressed.

He had only gone with his father to the island once and he taught him how to fish and swim.

When he was young, he could clearly remember something that his dad had told him.

"If the ocean can calm itself, then so can you.."

He doesn't understand it before, but now that he's grown he realized how that time, his father took him to the sea to help him with his trauma.

The calming ocean waves and the cold sea breeze makes his mind at ease.

He chugged down the can of beer and thinks about his action plan.

He looked around and saw a stick and he started drawing and doodling random things at the fine sand.

His mood somewhat relax as he draw and the waves wash it away.

He figured that his writing were just like his problems. He's sure one day a great wave will wash all of his dilemmas away too.

After he finished his leisure walk he went inside and sleep besides Tia.

The next morning, Tia woke up early and she went to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

She was still feeling a little cramped but compared to what she experienced last night, it was somewhat bearable.

She was busy chopping at the kitchen when she heard some noise outside.

She peeked at the window and saw two people walking at the beach coast heading towards the cabin.

She rushed inside the bedroom and hastily woke Ian up.

Ian groggily opened his eyes.

"Good morning."

He warmly greeted her.

"Hon, there's people outside. I thought you said were the only ones here."

She agitatedly said. She's somewhat panicking but she don't know why she's feeling flustered.

Ian's eyes immediately shot up and he hastily went outside.

As soon as he walked out of the bedroom, the main door opened up.

A young looking woman who exudes beauty grace and elegance slowly walked inside.

His eyes went wide from shock when he recognize who just came in....

It was his mom.
