That time when Ian was abducted, both he and his wife was so lost and confuse that they let his father handle everything.

They only focused on Ian's recovery.

Ian and Elia might've forgotten what happened before but he didn't.

Ian also change his attitude after the abduction.

He started to become less approachable and have become a loner.

It was only Charlie and the Chan twins who can stay around by his side.

Good thing he manage to divert her attention by opening a branch overseas focused mainly on perfume products.

Elia is a natural workaholic and her attention began to shift from Ian to her new business in scent industry.

Eventually, their lives become normal again but it was never the same.

Seeing Ian happily laughing for the first time he was somewhat relieved.

He thought he could finally let go of the past now that Ian was now acting like his former self.

Tia didn't know what to say. She was completely dumbfounded with the turn of events.

Ethan sat beside her and reached for her hands.

He handed a necklace to Tia. It has a pendant of the Lee family crest.

It's their family's heirloom passed down from one generation to another.

The one who possessed the necklace is the who was in command with all their assests and their subordinates.

"Keep it. It's my congratualory gift for you both. I know it's the other way around but I want you to keep my son happy. Keep him safe cause we failed to do so.

"And it's 'father' from now on. Don't tell your 'mother' that I know who you are okay?"
