Kenny lied. His cousin gave him that card as a thank you cause he contributed in his business capital.

Mei Chen pushed the card back to Kenny. She couldn't possibly keep the card if its a reward.

"take it. I'll rip it if you don't."

Mei Chen hurriedly grabbed the card and securely kept it in her wallet.

She sneered. Then she looked at her watch.

She gasped as soon as she realized what the time was.

He pulled out his phone and dialed a number then he placed his phone on the table.

After a few rings the call was answered, he pushed the loudspesker button then speak.

"Brother Ian I.."

"Do whatever you want."

Before he could finish his sentence Ian had already hang up the phone.

He smirked and then looked at Mei Chen.

"Hear that, your boss said I can do whatever I want. So technically, I'm your boss now.

And I'm granting you a half day. in exhange you'll accompany me."

"Whaaaaaat. That's not how it works!"

"Nope. Its settled. So finish your meal first. That's an order."

He demanded and little Mei-Mei had no choice but to comply.

Kenny really didn't want to act like a jerk to Mei Chen but he haven't had enough of her.

He still wanted to observe her.

If he have to be the bad guy just to be with her, then so be it.

After they ate, Mei Chen didn't say anything and just sulk inside the car.

Kenny drive around the city and pulled over at an amusement park.

"Why are we here?"

"I haven't got the opportunity to come and check it out but since we're both free then we might as well try it."

Mei Chen sneered. Kenny felt hurt by her remarks but he kept his cool and acted as if he wasn't bothered by her crabby attitude.

"Don't be like that. We're already here so let's enjoy okay. If you agree to come with me I will not tell sister in law about what I saw at the stereotype band concert."
