180 Chapter 180: Crazy for you 1

Mei Chen woke up but her eyes felt so heavy she couldn't open them.

She could clearly hear her favorite song playing.

It was a punk cover song of "crazy for you" by madonna by her favorite indie band "stereotype".

She loves to listen to it cause when she was young his dad used to play it for her mom.

His dad told her that it was the song he used to serenade and win her mother's heart.

They were all so happy as his father strummed his guitar while her mother's angelic voice sings along with him.

That scene from her memory was so blissful that she cherished it so much.

And everytime she had a hard time she would listen to that song and it will eventually bring her back to that time.

Kenny was already discharge but he chose to stay to watch over Mei Chen.

They wanted to contact her father but they found out that she didn't put any contact details for emergency contact person in her data.

Tia decided that she and Kenny would be the who will look after Mei-Mei for the time being.

She figured Mei Chen wouldn't just carelessly leave it blank if she doesn't have a reason.

Kenny is a doctor and so he knows that although a patient was in a coma, they could sometimes hear what's going on around them.

After Mei Chen was transferred to the private ward Kenny has been nonstop playing "Crazy for you."

It's the song where he saw Mei Chen smiling so brightly. He reckoned that exactly was the time that he fell in love with herl

He figured if she could hear it, it might help her heal faster.

Mei Chen felt so heavy and tired she couldn't even  move a muscle.

She tried opening up her mouth to speak but it felt so dry, her throat felt so coarsed.

She was also feeling hungry. She tried lifting her hand seeing her fingers moved a warm hand gently held on to her.

"Mei-Mei"

He called her out softly. Mei Chen knew who that voice belongs to.

Kenny pushed the button to called for assistance and soon after, her attending physician came in.

After checking her vitals they find out that everything's normal and told him to wait.

"Any minute now she would be awake."

The doctor said then quietly left the room.

Slowly, Mei Chen's eyes opened up. Her vision was blurry at first and gradually it cleared.
