The truth is Mei Chen can be discharged in just one week but Kenny insisted to stretch it out for one whole month.

He told the doctor that Mei Chen would've had some trauma but he truth is he just wanted to be with her.

He wanted to spend more time with her, even if it would seem pathetic he figured he could use her recuperation as an excuse to be by her side.

"Hey, don't wheel me in I can do it myself."

Mei Chen said as the bride and groom walked inside the registration office.

She wanted Kenny to enjoy the event, and her being injured was a hindrance to him.

She knew she had burdened him enough.

The nurse that check her vitals asked her if Kenny is her boyfriend.

And she vehemently denied it.

"Oh, It's such a shame then. He's a good catch. If you don't want him I'll gladly take him."

The nurse told her that Kenny has been looking after her while she was in a coma.

He haven't eaten or sleep that they are worried they will have another patient.

He looked like he was anxious for her well being that they thought they have some sort of intimate relationship.

Some nurse even envy her for having a handsome, reliable and caring "boyfriend" like Kenny.

"No, let me do it. Just pretend I'm your helper for today."

"But how can you enjoy if I keep dragging you and burdening you?"

"Don't worry about me. I'm delighted in serving you. Let's get inside okay?"

Kenny said while patting her shoulders. A slight touch of his hands send shiver down her spine.

Her heart beats so loud that she feels like she's in a frenzy.

Him being gentle and kind to her added with what the nurses told her leave her all feeling confused.

She figured she would need to get some courage to sort out her feelings.

So she had decided, she will get the courage from alcoholat the party later and settle thing once and for all.

Tia and Ian went inside and Tia was surprised to see S City's mayor to be the one assisting them.

"Is this what you mean by 'I have my own ways'?"

Tia asked. She was dumbfounded to know that the one who will officiate their marriage is a high ranking official.

"Don't worry young madam compared to the favors that I owe the Lee family  this is basically nothing."

Mayor Cha explained. Tia can't help but feel bad for him.
