Kenny went back in with his medical kit and a tray with ginger tea.

He administered an IV drip to Tia and made a makeshift dextrose stand using a floor lamp.

"I've given her IV and rest assured that she's alright. She should wake up later or tomorrow."

Kenny said then he looked at Ian, with a solemn look on his face he spoke.

"Brother Ian, whatever it is that's angering you right now, I know it's hard but please try to stay calm.

Our efforts in healing you will all go to waste once you succumb to your hate.

Think of sister in law. She wouldn't be happy seeing you like this.

Have some tea. Drink all the tea that you want it will help you be at peace."

Ian took a deep drag on his cigarette. There's still a chilling aura around him and a killing intent on his black ink eyes.

He have been trying so hard to suppressed the strong vexation inside him.

He thought he had everything under control. Everything was planned perfectly but still someone had manage to ruin their special day.

"Bro, d'you want me to sedate you? You have to get some rest. You can figure out everything tomorrow."

Ian said in his business like tone. Kenny reluctantly left the room. He knew he had said the things he need to tell him.

It was up to Ian if he would heed on his advised.

Ian sat inside the room thinking about how the painting get to his house.

He opened his laptop and check the CCTV. He saw a maid went to his room casually delivering the gift.

She went out of the room, Ian tracked her movements but then he didn't saw her again in all the footage.

He called Rin Chan and asked her for information about the maid.

Turns out the maid named Nana Lou was a new employee.

She was hired as a replacement cause almost all of the Lee family's subordinates were deployed for Brandon Zhou's on going manhunt.

He asked Rin Chan to locate Nana but tjey couldn't find her whereabouts.

Kenny went back to the guest room. Mei Chen was still sound a sleep.

Oblivious to the commotion outside. She looked so peaceful.

Kenny quietly lay down beside her and gently stroke her smooth face.

"Princess, why are you so defenseless."

He asked her. Mei Chen just smiled back at him, she looks like she's having a nice dream.

Kenny kissed her forehead and snuggled with her. Out of exhaustion, he immediately fall asleep.
