That evening, Ivy Chang went back to G City never to set foot at S City ever again.
While Wesley locked himself in his room and wept for 2 days straight.
He drowned himself to whiskey. He was so heart broken.
He knew it will eventually end but he didn't know that it will be so painful, he felt like his soul had left him and his heart was being pulled and twisted and cut into million pieces
His eyes were so red and puffy that his father had accused him of taking illegal drugs.
He was even planning in admitting him to a rehab facility.
Months went by and Wesley Kang had seemed to have moved on.
A friend had invited him to a small reunion with his fellow university alumni.
He went there, wanting to have a good time and to mingle with his batchmates.
Then he heard the news about Ivy Chang eloping with a lowly salary man from a publishing company.
The girls around him all tried to slander Ivy by calling her a user, a bitch and a slut.
Thinking that they can win Wesley's favor by doing so.
Wesley lose his self control and had started to slap the girls bad mouthing Ivy infront of him.
Then he left the party. That's the time were he started to not come and mingle with other people.
All his pent up emotions clouded his mind. Anger, regret, envy and jealousy.
Angry for how the girls had maligned Ivy.
Regret for the time that he didn't tried enough to win her heart.
He reckoned if he had pursued her more and had been honest withhis intentions maybe she would've been swayed and had fallen for him.
And envy and jealousy. Envious at how lucky was the man Ivy had fallen for.
How he might've been the happiest man alive right now.
Jealous for by now someone would look at her with loving eyes.
Would spend every waking hour staring at her beautiful sleeping face.
Would hold her soft warm hands and kissed her luscious pink lips.
And that someone wasn't him.
He would've traded everything just to be that lucky guy.
Out of impulse and confusion, he booked a ticket overseas and went to the east coast.
He stayed at a small island. He started to live a simple life by owning a rental boat for tourists as a way of living.
