237 Chapter 237: The guy next door 4

Kenny tenderly looked at the sleeping Mei Chen. He still felt surreal with everything that happened.

She looks so peaceful and somewhat smiling. As if she's having a nice dream.

He gently stroke her cheeks and planted a kiss on her luscious lips.

"Mei-Mei, I almost lost you before. I'm so glad that you're alive and you're here beside me. Thanks for accepting me. I promise I'll protect you forever."

He whispered to her then tightly wrapped her in his warm embrace.

He was so preoccupied with indulging in Mei Chen's scent that he didn't notice his phone was already bombarded with notifications.

He just realized it when he stirred to get some water and his phone screen lighten up.

He picked it up at the nightstand just to see lots of people had reacted to his profile picture.

Some congratulated him, other poke fun at him while there are some who "angry reacts" to his post.

He checked it and most of it were girls that he had flings with.

Some girls were even commenting and expressing their envy and  jealousy.

It was Kenny's first time to post a photo together with a girl. Moreover, he had made it his profile picture.

So his friends and colleagues made a big deal out of it.

Kenny blocked the girls who violently reacted to his post one by one.

He figured, he doesn't need those kind of negativity in his life.

And besides Mei Chen is the only girl that he needs. He doesn't give a damn about everyone else.

Kenny was smiling as he reads the well wishes from his friends when he saw Tia's comment.

'So you finally did it.. Congrats to both of you. ♥'

He clicked it to reply when he saw Charlie also commenting on Tia's thread.

'Sister in law how come you were friends with that bastard here? You're unfair! When are you gonna accept my friend request.? Also, Kenny stop showing off!  (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻'

Kenny was laughing as he read the comments. He finds Charlie's spoiled attitude amusing.

But what really interests him more is that even his brother Ian chimed in to bully Charlie.

'I was the one that told her not to accept you. Got any problems with that?'

'JERK.'

Charlie was feeling envious. His friends were all lovey dovey while he has to hide his affection in public towards TP.

He wanted to be like them. To show the world that he's dating the prettiest alluring talented girl ever existed.

"How dare this losers flaunt their love life in my face!"

He inwardly sneered. TP was busy planning the party, while he on the other hand was in S City all alone.

He can't wait to see her. He's excited to give TP a good surprise at the party tomorrow.
