Kenny stayed and help at his uncle's clinic. It has been 5 days since he last saw little Mei.

He still wasn't confident enough to come and apologize to her, not when he's still figuring out and managing his emerging anger issue.

While he roam around the clinic, he met a man who was admitted due to drinking problems.

They talked and he found out that he used to be a guitarist. Kenny used the opportunity to have the man teach him how to play.

He's thinking of serenading Mei Chen on his own. He asked the man what song would it fit to woo a woman.

The man chuckled when he heard Kenny's question.

"Aiya, it's sure nice to be young eh... Well, since we're all a bit crazy in here, then I'll teach you my favorite song."

The man happily picked the guitar and taught Kenny how to play.

Kenny was a fast learner, and learning how to play had helped him calm down.

Day and night he and the old man would sit at the corner and jam to the love song.

In a short period of time, Kenny had almost perfected the song.

He would sometimes make mistakes in placing his fingers on the strings but with more practice he's sure that in no time,

he's skills will be flawless.

Mei Chen on the othet hand stayed at Kenny's apartment.

She put a mattress on the floor and just lay on it. Patiently waiting for Kenny's return.

She would touch the guitar pick around her neck and would remember the happy times that she and Kenny had shared together.

She doesn't have any motivation and had just decided to mope around.

For a whole 5 days she hadn't slept and eaten properly that she had lost so much energy.

She look like she's a slug wrapped in blanket.

She felt devastated that Kenny left her without even talking to her.

As she think about what went wrong between the two of them her phone rang.

She immediately answered the phone, she felt dismayed when the caller wasn't Kenny but someone from Elia Lee's new Music studio.

She was asked to come over BYTE empire.

Mei Chen got up and went to take a shower. Although she doesn't want to do anything, it would be unprofessional of her to cancel the contract signing.

Feeling all lethargic and sick, she tried her best to prep up.

She wore a pair of sunglasses to hide away her eyebags.

Upon reaching the Byte empire building, Mei Chen went directly at the Music Score department.

She wanted to avoid her colleagues as much as possible. She doesn't want anyone to see how much of a mess she is right now.

All she wanted to do was sign the contract and go back home.

When she entered the Musical Director's office, Mei Chen was surprise to see Elia Lee who was smiling amiably at her.
