291 Chapter 290: Kismet 1

"Hey, I have a surprise for you...don't laugh okay?"

Kenny said, Mei Chen looked at him quizzically.

"What is it?"

"Promised me you won't laugh first...."

"Okay, I promised."

Mei Chen exasperately rolled her eyes. Kenny then pick up the guitar beside him and started to nervously strum it.

Little Mei was dumbfounded, she knew that tune very well. Every time that Kenny struck a chord, she felt a bittersweet feeling in her heart.

Tears started to ran down her face, Kenny stopped playing the guitar.

"Is it that bad?"

He asked, he thought Mei Chen was crying because he didn't give justice to the song.

"No... Please continue."

Mei Chen said and Kenny complied, Kenny didn't dare to sing he knew he would totally ruin the mood, Mei Chen on the other hand begun humming then when the melody reached the chorus she sang together with him.

"I'm crazy for you

Mei Chen's father was queitly watching them. He can't deny the great chemistry between his student and his daughter.

He knew Mei Chen was in good hands together with Kenny and he only wished for both of them to stay in love and not give up with each other.

"How d'you know how to play it?"

Mei Chen asked. She knew Kenny doesn't have any knowledge about playing the guitar.

"After I saw you playing guitar hero at the arcade, I've always wanted to learn how to play. Then I met your dad and he taught me how."

Kenny put down the guitar and held Mei Chen's soft hands. He missed her warmth and her smile. He kissed her forehead and he suddenly asked.

"Do you believe in fate?"

"I do.. Why d'you ask?"

"You see, I don't believe in destiny or other superstitious things before. But after meeting you, after having all this coincidences around us, I'm starting to believe that both you and I, were fated to be together."

Kenny looked in Mei Chen's eyes and gently kissed her lips.

They stayed for a couple more hours at the rehab center then they both decided to go back to S City together.

Upon reaching the apartment Mei Chen was shocked to see Kenny's then empty unit was now fully furnished just like how it looks like before he left her.

She couldn't believe her eyes.

"How..."

Kenny told her that he wasn't really planning on leaving her.

He had his people remove everything in his apartment because he had completely thrashed it because of his rage.

Before coming back to S City he called his subordinates and asked them to re done his place and they all efficiently complied with his commands.
