23 The Scammer

The room was a room with a bed and full of monitors from the surveillance camera. Overall, it was a security room that monitored the whole building. The guard was only armed using a pistol.

Patrick looked at Sierra, "Sierra, could you locked down the whole building?" He approved Sierra's skill.

"Yes, I can lock down the whole building," Sierra went to the chair in the security room and plugged his phone at the security computer and hacked it. The building was automatically under a lockdown.

"Ok, could you stay here and update the situation. It isn't going to take long for them to notice the locked door," Patrick got out of that room and headed straight to the third floor where the boss was sleeping.

'I feel like someone here,' he hid behind a computer desk as another guard was coming to his direction. The guards were coming from behind a locked door. The door couldn't be opened without a System Hack app since the building was under a silent lockdown.

The door was moving as if someone was trying to pry it open without the proper key, "Man, why does this new door always jam?" He shook that locked door.

Sierra: "You better be quick. The radio had already complained to me about the broken door."

Patrick held his phone near the door and opened it as he aimed his MP5SD to that door. Once the door was opened, two persons were in front of that door. 9mm bullets landed on top of their heads, "Tango down," Patrick whispered as the two persons drop dead.

He moved to the computer room and he got another transmission from Sierra that had a terrific idea.

Sierra: "I can turn off the lights without turning off the door lock. Want to try?"

Delta/Patrick: "Sure, the darker the better. Sadly, I only have a flashlight. Though, I don't need one."

Sierra: "Triggering blackout... Now."

Every electrical stuff that emotes lights on that room was turned off and that room turned pitch black. In short, Patrick couldn't see a thing. The guards grabbed their flashlights.

"OY, WHO FORGETS TO PAY THE ELECTRICAL BILL?" A guard cursed as he walked in that room with a flashlight. The flashlight clearly marked their location.

'Room clear,' he moved to the next computer room. He opened the door with the System Hack and the door opened automatically. Suddenly, three flashlights were pointing to the opened door.

"God, this system is as buggy as hell," one of the guards approached the door that suddenly opened without any good reason.

He approached the opened door, but he was taken down by Patrick who was hiding behind a desk. 'Quiet now,' he stabbed the guard on his heart and the other guards became alerted.

"Oy, what happened there?" One of the guards asked as they approached Patrick. Patrick stood up and pumped their body full of leads from the 9mm bullets.

'I wish I have an NVG,' Patrick walked to the stairs and went straight for the third floor. The guards hadn't noticed the dead bodies yet.

Patrick: "Sierra, I'm on the third floor. Where are you?"

Sierra: "I'm clearing the second floor."

Patrick moved to a dark corner where the guards were having a briefing due to the sudden blackout. They were unarmed and holding a flashlight on their hands. They were weak as hell considering that Patrick was an armed and armored man holding a special forces grade weaponry.

He aimed his SMG at the head of those guards and killed them all. He walked over their bodies and proceeded to the room where their boss was sleeping, but Patrick doubts that he was still sleeping due to the blackout.

He searched for a door that had "Manager" marked on it and luckily, he found one of the doors. He opened it and saw that the boss was still sleeping soundly on the bed in his office.

He put his SMG away and grabbed his pistol from his holster. He attached a suppressor into the gun and he approached the sleeping manager. He put the end of the barrel at the boss's head and he woke him up with a slap on his face.

"What the fuck?" He woke up as a masked man aimed a pistol at his head. He threw a tubular thing which was a bomb.

"Good evening sir, where's the money?" Patrick asked him.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" He trembled as he still couldn't grasp the situation.

"Name doesn't matter. Now, do you have the money or no?" Patrick asked as he stuck his pistol at that boss's mouth. He moved it around a bit, "You know? I can kill you now, but where's the money?"

"What money?" The boss asked.

"Are you trying to play stupid with me?" Patrick shot the boss in the ballsack. The boss screamed like a little girl.

"I DON'T FUCKING KNOW," the boss screamed in pain as he held his balls.

Patrick shot the boss on his head, "Ok, see you useless," the door on his back opened slowly and revealing someone who was wearing a quad lens night vision goggles.

It was Sierra that approached him. He looked at Delta, "Well, I guess the job is done eh," he poked at the dead body of that boss, "Let's torch the whole place down."

Patrick nodded, "Sure, by blowing some electrical boxes?" He said as he grabbed his phone and opened the System Hack app.

"Yup," Sierra said as they walked outside of that building. They searched for the building's main power source. The building's main power source was located in the corner of the building, near a dumpster.

"Select the overload option after you ID the power box," Sierra observed Patrick who was opening the System Hack app.

[Massive Power Box: Vulnerability Detected]

He pressed the back button and electrical sparks started appearing on the building. Slowly, a fire started on that building. Patrick also got the mission reward.

Sierra looked at him, "Delta, I think you can go on your own with the hacking app, but still. You need to learn a Non-Lethal takedown," He said.

"Ok, I see," Patrick said as he shook Sierra's hand and left that gang hideout. He walked back to his house when suddenly he had a message.

Lynn: "Could you come over my house? I'm lonely."
