132 Time To Move Out: Part 11

Saturday, 25th of April 2021. Langley AFB. 0900 Hours. Task Force Omega. Clara, Lynn, and Patrick.

Clara was making sure that Lynn was properly dressed in her military uniform. She was wearing a woodland uniform without any hat. Her hair was bunned and so did Clara's.

"Make me proud," Clara said as she poked Lynn's shoulders.

"C'mon, let's get out of here girls. Your father is waiting, Lynn," Patrick peeked from outside of that jet with a military uniform.

"We'll be there," Lynn said as Clara made sure that she wore her clothes properly. They were in one of the hangars in the Langley AFB. They were meeting with Herring on a hangar located very far away from the usual spot where soldiers were located.

Lynn and Clara got out of the jet and saw Herring was giving a lecture to Patrick. His authoritative gesture clearly indicated that Patrick was being lectured. Lynn got closer to Herring.

"Remember what I said earlier, Patrick."

"I will sir."

"You better be, or else..."

"Respectfully sir, or else what?"

"Or I'll put a bounty bigger than Ayman Al-Zawahiri on your head," Herring intimidated him, but he knew that placing a bounty on his head wasn't that advantageous.

Lynn approached Herring from the jet and Herring immediately approached Lynn while leaving Patrick who was smiling on the background. Herring immediately hugged that child, Lynn, and said, "How was the flight?"

"Patrick can fly a plane, definitely," Lynn said as Herring hugged her.

"Thank you for saving her," Herring shook Clara's hands. Clara just smiled cluelessly. She had a general idea of why he would smile, but she didn't like it either.

"My pleasure sir," Clara said.

There's another plane in that hangar. It was the plane that Herring promised to Lynn, it was an F-15EX Experimental Eagle. It was one of the state-of-the-art fighter jets that could go head to head with a Flanker. Nevertheless, it was a decent jet with a huge amount of payload. It was loaded with many kinds of missiles and bombs. It was loaded as hell.

"So that's my new toy huh?" Lynn asked.

"Yeah, remember that you buy it by yourself," Herring said.

Lynn wrote three million dollars check and gave it to Herring. Herring gladly accepted it and there were two flight suits in a room, waiting to be worn.

"What are you waiting for? Go," Herring said as Lynn and Clara headed for that room in that hangar.

Herring pulled Patrick away from that hangar. He didn't want Patrick to peek on the girls that were changing. He also wanted to ask more questions to Patrick.

"About the contractors, are you really going to establish something big?" Herring asked as both of them walked around the hangar.

"Yes sir, I'm afraid we will," Patrick said.

"I know that sir, but I'm afraid that I have one special request. It's Lynn's request too sir," Patrick said.

"And what do you need?" Herring asked.

"CIA should keep their nose out on whatever we are planning to do until we contact you again. Lynn will appreciate it, me too," Patrick said.

"Yes, I'll do it," Herring said.

"Thank you, sir," Patrick said as they walked back to the aircraft hangar.

In the aircraft hangar, the girls were already in their flight suit. All they had to do was to jump inside the aircraft and left that AFB. Herring smiled at Lynn.

"Fully loaded, ready to beat down a third world country air force in minutes," Herring said.

Lynn and Clara climbed inside the F-15. They closed the canopy and immediately, there were changes made to the fighter jet. The bombs and missiles that were attached to the plane were reduced in numbers. It looked like that Lynn had added that vehicle to her personal garage and configured it.

The jet engines of the F-15E were started and Lynn started checking on the ailerons, flaps, etc. Patrick immediately asked Herring permission to spawn his own jet since he had to escort Lynn back to the country.

"Sure, but what kind of jet?"

Patrick immediately spawned his own jet right behind Lynn's jet and Herring was immediately surprised by the sudden appearance of a Su-35S in front of his eyes.

"Ok, I'll give you permission."

"Ok," Patrick climbed to his fighter jets and turned on the engines of the jet. That hangar was immediately became filled with engine noise. Herring couldn't hear anything. He immediately went to a room inside the hangar where a headphone was available.

Herring: "Hey, can you hear me?"

Lynn: "Loud and clear."

Patrick: "Copy that."

Herring: "That's all from me. I hope you like it, Lynn."

Lynn: "I certainly like it, father."

Herring: "Hahaha, Patrick, take care of my daughter."

Patrick: "Will do sir."

Lynn and Patrick switched their radio frequency to the one which was connected to the ATC of the Langley AFB.

Lynn: "Langley Ground, CR 5674 and CR 6574, requesting flight to the east, altitude 16,000 meters."

Ground Control: "Squadron CR, you're cleared to taxi LMR-57."

The two jets moved outside of the hangar and Herring waved his hands from the glass window of the room inside the hangar. The jets moved to the path that led to the taxiway. In there, they switched frequency to the ATC.

Lynn: "Langley Tower, CR 5674 and CR 6574, requesting permission to take off."

ATC: "CR Squadron, you're cleared to take off on runway 26."

The plane moved to the runway. Lynn's F-15 took off first. The afterburner was turned on and the plane gained velocity faster than an average aircraft. It didn't take long until the aircraft was airborne.

Patrick pushed the throttle of his jet forward. Those two afterburners were immediately turned on and Patrick gained velocity.

"V-1."

"Rotate."

The plane took off from the AFB and started its flight back to the capital.
