134 Time To Move Out: Part 13

Saturday, 25th of April 2021. A plaza near the Southside of the Capital. 1830 Hours. Nathan and Laura.

Both of them immediately changed into their combat loadout albeit they didn't use the traditional black camouflage. They used digital urban camouflage under their body armor.

"This is getting out of hand," Nathan said as he peeked from the door while holding his HK416.

"No doubt," Laura said.

The situation wasn't that advantageous for them, they weren't in the mood for a shootout as usual. They only wanted to get out of that building peacefully without causing any harm to anyone since they didn't want to do the job in the first place.

"Gimme your Cheytac," Nathan said and Laura gave him that rifle. That rifle was suppressed and packed enough punch to kill any armored target besides a contractor.

Nathan pulled the trigger and killed one of the guards that were standing by near the doors of the Plaza. The guard that was standing beside him immediately got surprised.

"It should serve as a good distraction," Nathan looked at the scope of the rifle. He searched for another target that could be shot from that door, but as far as he could see, he couldn't find any besides that other guard that stood beside a dead body. Nathan pulled the trigger to kill the other guy.

"We're too exposed, once we ran outside of this room, we'll be spotted," Nathan said as he gave back the Cheytac to Laura.

"A drug deal that gone wrong with us in the middle," Laura said.

Nathan opened the door slowly and he immediately noticed that three people were waiting in front of that door. They noticed that Nathan and Laura were hiding inside that room. They immediately pulled the trigger of their guns.

"HOLY SHIT!" Nathan took cover behind the wall near that door.

Bullets started flying to that room and a bullet hit Laura's ballistic visor. Laura returned fire with her HK416 and killed those three that were shooting at her.

They ran from that room and bullets were raining on top of their head like water. Nathan and Laura ran to their car so they could escape from that area without causing unnecessary casualties.

Nathan turned the engine of his car and hit the gas as hard as he could. He reversed his car and hit the main street as fast as he could, but it turned out that the street was also guarded by the adversaries.

"How many cars are behind us?" Nathan asked as he drove.

"One... Two... Three... Four... Five?... Six!!!" Laura said.

"Six cars? Feds?" Nathan asked.

"Nope, Ambrosia cartel," Laura noticed a tattoo that one of the gang members had. It was a signature tattoo for Ambrosia cartel gang members.

Ambrosia was the same gang that had access to TOW and other military grade weapons that an ordinary gang usually didn't have. One of them could be holding on to an RPG that could blow up their car.

"Aye aye," Laura started shooting the cartel members with her HK416.

Bullets were flying to the windshield of the cars, but it didn't stop them from chasing Nathan and Laura.

Laura loaded a 40mm grenade into her grenade launcher and shot it at one of the cars. The car exploded after being hit by that 40mm grenade. The car hit another car and Laura managed to take down two cars at once.

Nathan: "To all contractors, Requesting immediate support on this coordinate."

Clara: "What did you do that you have four cars following you?"

Nathan: "How do you know?"

Clara: "SNIPER pods."

Nathan: "You're in a jet now?"

Clara: "And so does Lynn."

Nathan: "Dang, help us then. Drop bombs, missiles, or something."

Clara: "On it."

Saturday, 25th of April 2021. Sky of the capital. 1900 Hours. CR Squadron. Patrick, Lynn, and Clara.

Clara observed where would Laura and Nathan moved based on the observation of the targeting pod that was showed in an LCD screen in front of her. The F-15E could track a target outside of the jet hearing range and also could strike it outside of most air defense range. In short, it was a very impressive system.

"Is the airspace still clear?" Clara asked as she chose her target on the LCD screen.

"Yeah, Patrick does a good job keeping any adversary away. Could you help Nathan with Maverick?" Lynn asked.

"I can, but I can only strike the car at the back of that convoy. I can't risk that missile hitting Nathan," Clara said.

"Go ahead then, shoot the missile."

"Pickle."

An AGM-65 hellfire missile was launched from that F-15E. The missile struck one of the cars that were chasing Nathan. Due to the large blast radius of the AGM-65, it also took down there cars at once.

"Three cars out of commission, one car left," Clara said as she observed the screen in front of her.

Patrick: "Fox 3, Fox 3."

According to the radar on the aircraft, there were six aircraft that were in the area around them and Patrick was hunting them with his Su-35S. There was no doubt about it since...

Patrick: "Bandit down."

Patrick: "Fox 2, Fox 2."

Patrick: "Fox 3, fox 3."

Patrick: "Missile fired."

"Yeah, he doesn't need our help," Lynn said as she heard that radio chatter on the background.

Clara noticed that Laura fired another grenade round at a car and there wasn't anyone in pursuit of her now. They were in the clear.

Nathan: "We're in the clear. Thanks for the help."

Lynn: "No problem."

Patrick Su-35 appeared right beside Lynn's F-15. It looked like he had finished taking out his targets. According to the AESA radar, there was no more target around the horizon. They were in the clear.

Lynn: "What took you so long?"

Patrick: "I was sleepy, there was no doubt about it. Hell, but I managed to splash six jet fighters. Let's go back home."

Lynn: "Yeah, right."
