137 Time To Move Out: Part 16

Thursday, 30th of April 2021. Garret High School. 10-A. 0920 Hours.

A student council member was aiming his gun at Patrick while she protected the other students. She fired another shot at Patrick with her semi-automatic pistol. Patrick felt the bullet hitting his body armor and immediately took cover.

Patrick shot his HK416 at the students. Rubber bullets immediately hit her and she fell to the ground from the blunt force of those rubber bullets alone. Patrick entered that room and the students were scared of him.

"Bravo, search for any bombs," Patrick said.

"Aye aye sir," Shaddam said and he searched for the bomb.

Meanwhile, Patrick put his HK416 on his hip and approached the other students. He wanted to know whether they knew the location of the bomb or not. He walked slowly to the other student's direction, he needed to know whether he should evacuate them or not.

"Do you know anything about a bomb?" Patrick asked.

One of the students showed Patrick her phone. She was sent a video from another class. It was a video when the class turned chaotic as hell. Patrick took the phone and rewind the video multiple times. Shaddam approached him.

"Stop! There!" Shaddam shouted and Patrick stopped the video footage of on that phone.

It was a frame where the camera was directed to a door where a student came in. From the looks of it, he was carrying a vest that was full of C4, there was no doubt about it. It was a suicide vest.

"Which class is this?" Patrick asked.

"10-D," she said and Patrick gave her phone back.

Patrick: "To all operators. Requesting EOD team at 10-D. Only juggernaut user allowed."

Clara: "Copy that Delta. EOD is on the way."

Aveline: "Alpha will be there."

Patrick thanked that student that gave Patrick the camera footage, "Thank you, little girl, stay here," he cable ties that little girl hands to make sure that she didn't move around or made more problem for them.

Patrick and Shaddam immediately changed into their juggernaut suit which could resist explosives. Their weapon was still in their bodies, but Patrick and Shaddam carried a toolbox on their hand.

"The faster we do this, the fewer people have to die today," Patrick said as he looked at the classroom and opened the door. The first thing that they saw was a student sat down on a chair with a suicide vest on his chair.

Clara was standing right beside him while observing the bomb. She looked very calm when she observed the suicide vest with his eyes as if she looked at something very usual.

"Come here, the blast won't kill you, but it will definitely kill her," Clara said as she played with her bolt cutters. She played with that bold cutters as it was an ordinary tool. Keep in mind that it was a 24 inch bolt cutter that could weight more than seven kilograms.

The vest had some kind of reinforced steel cage that made sure that the hostage couldn't release that vest by him/herself. Clara had finished removing the steel cage, but she hadn't removed the vest yet since there were cables scattered around the vest itself.

"Amateur work should be a piece of cake," Clara said as he grabbed a wire cutter to cut the wires that were dangling around that vest.

"Why do you say this is amateur work?" Patrick asked.

"Well, to be honest, if not for the steel cage, I will bite on one of the wires and just take the vest off," Clara asked.

"If you were the terrorist, what would you do?" Shaddam asked.

"I will make a bomb with lots of sensors. Well, every bomb could be disarmed if you are brave enough, but most of the time, you'll be dead if you're too clumsy or too panic," Clara said as she cut the last wire so the student could take that vest off.

"How do you know?" Shaddam asked.

"I make a makeshift IED from a bloody anti-tank mine, why can't I make a better bomb than this wannabe terrorist," Clara took the best of that student.

"Go away girl," Patrick said as Clara took off some of the C4 from that makeshift bomb.

The student ran away from that classroom. Clara put the best away and put some of the C4 in his magazine pocket. She was kinda worried that there might be another bomb on that school that needed to be disarmed.

"To counter a bomb, you need to think like those who place the bombs," Clara said as she got out of that room.

Weirdly enough, the police response team hadn't arrived yet. The contractors were still roaming around that school building while saving some of the students. The three juggernauts were waiting for another confirmation of another bomb threat.

Lynn: "Serval, a bomb has been spotted on 11-A."

Patrick: "Roger that Lima, EOD on its way."

The EOD team walked to the 11-A class. Lynn was waiting in front of that classroom alone with an HK416 on her hands. She pointed her hands at a suspicious box that was placed in the middle of the classroom. It was a large container that might contain bigger explosives than the one contained in a suicide vest.

"All on you, Serval, I'll continue my patrol," Lynn said as the EOD team moved to that room.

Without any hesitation, Clara looked around the container that contained a lot of explosives. Clara looked around for a proximity sensor or anything that might trigger the bomb if the container was opened. It turned out that there wasn't anything like that. She could easily open the box.

"We're lucky that the jammer is online," Clara looked at the container that had more than twenty kilograms of explosives.
