157 Time To Move Out: Part 36 End

Monday, 24th of June 2021. Garret High School. 12-G. 0700 Hours.

Helena was confused when her students asked her to come to the school even though the whole class had graduated. "Good morning." Helena looked at the class. All of them were wearing a school uniform.

"Ma'am, let's have another party shall we?" Patrick stood up from his table.

"No thanks, I still have quite a hangover from last night drinking with other teachers," Helena said.

She went back to the teacher's table. Helena hadn't realized that none of the students brought their bag and there were car keys on top of every student's table. She also hadn't noticed that Lynn had two eyes now. She wasn't partially blind now. Aline gave her a new eye on Sunday right after the graduation party.

All of that happened with a reason. They would be moving out of their country today. They wanted to have a lass memento with their teacher.

Laura brought a DSLR camera and a tripod. "Ma'am, let's have a picture of us with uniform with you. I'm afraid we don't have any of that picture." Laura stood up.

"Sure." Helena stood up from the teacher's desk and the other students in that class immediately stood up. They were lining up beside Helena.

They formed a neat line as Laura set up her camera. After they formed a neat line, Laura set the camera on a timer. She stood upright beside Nathan. The camera took a picture.

Laura checked on the camera. "Ok, again, free pose now." Laura set the timer again on the camera and the whole class did a free pose in front of that camera. Some of them smile with a peace finger while some of the others even dare to raise their middle finger. Well, they were boys, what do you expect?

"Ok, one more shot. Ma'am, I, no, I mean we need to tell you something." Laura said.

"What is it?" Helena asked.

"Please don't panic. Stay still. Ok, Nathan, do it." Laura grabbed her PDA and she changed into her combat loadout albeit without her balaclava and her helmet. The others did the same too. All of them were carrying their HK416A7 on their hands. Helena was immediately shocked by the sudden appearance of armored people behind them.

"You guys?..." Helena feared for her life since all of the students that she loved became something that she feared.

"Yes, we are not an ordinary student," Nathan explained. Lynn helped her teacher to breath slowly. She was panicked for a second.

"We're still your students though," Patrick said.

"Yeah, not every person on earth that holds a gun is a villain," Lynn added.

Helena calmed down. Nathan reminded Helena that they might save the whole school more than once. The first time was them saving the school from the rebels and the second time was when the school was rigged to blow.

Laura walked back to the camera. She pressed a button and the timer began counting down again. The camera took a picture of the SDC with Helena in the middle of them. It would become a picture that marked the beginning of the SDC.

The contractors finished the photo session and they started giving their last present to Helena. Most of them were giving Helena a goodbye card, but Helena was given a check by the SDC. Nathan personally gave Helena a million-dollar check.

"Wow, this is too much." Helena retrieved that piece of paper. Helena could exchange it for money without any difficulty since it was a special check that could be exchanged in every single bank in the whole world.

"Don't mind it. Here's a distress pulser, you might need it later. We'll come in a moment notice." Patrick gave Helena a small device as big as an ordinary smartphone that would give a signal that could be reached from anywhere.

"Well, then, have a safe journey." Helena waved her hands at the students that left the classroom one by one. Helena sat down at her teacher's table.

'What a unique class.' she looked at the empty class that was full of students before that. Helena knew that the class wouldn't be filled anytime soon.

Meanwhile, in the hallway, the Aiden and Lisa spawned their helicopters in the school parking lot. Their destination was the abandoned airfield located in the old town.

'Welcome aboard,' Nathan entered the helicopter first than he was followed by other contractors while the remaining contractors go to the other helicopter. Patrick sat on the gunner seat of that helicopter and the helicopter took off from the ground.

Monday, 24th of June 2021. Abandoned Airfield. 12-G. 0900 Hours.

All of the contractors were in a hangar on that abandoned airfield. The C-5 Galaxy was full of cargo, they were mainly weapons and contractors' personal belongings. Two fighter jets were parked right beside that C-5 Galaxy. They were loaded with anti-air missiles.

"Clara. Make sure you don't load any land mines on the plane." Nathan moved a pallet from a position in the C-5 Galaxy to another position that was more optimum.

"Aye, sir." Clara moved a crate of explosives into that cargo plane. Aiden and Lisa were in the cockpit of that cargo plane. They were checking on the instruments of that aircraft from the flaps to the avionics.

Lisa flipped some switches on that cockpit. They were the switches for the flaps and the engine of that aircraft. The jet engines started spinning and it was marked the loud echo around that hangar.

"Is everything loaded yet?" Lisa asked through her radio.

"Not yet. Henry is still loading the palette containing the grenade machine guns into the plane," Nathan replied.

"Ok, but be quick about it. I don't know when we will be spotted, this is a giant ass plane," Lisa said.

Meanwhile, Patrick was doing a brief check on his fighter jet. He checked the missiles and the autocannon on his fighter jet. He didn't want the Russian antics to start breaking apart when he entered a dog fight.

Lynn also did the same thing with her F-15. She checked the missiles and the Gatling gun of her fighter jet. Her fighter jet was also loaded with two cruise missiles in case she needed to attack a ground target to their destination which was located in the Atlantic Ocean.

Their destination was a VLFS purchased by Nathan for two hundred million dollars. It would be their base of operation. It wasn't big, but it was discreet enough that no one would suspect anything about that structure.

"Lynn, are we ready yet?" Clara had finished loading the cargo into the plane. The plane was full of equipment now and ready to take off from the ground.

"Sure, are the others ready?" Lynn asked.

"Yup, they're ready." Clara grabbed her PDA and changed into her pilot uniform. Lynn and Patrick did the same too and three of them entered their fighter jets. The other contractors entered that C-5 Galaxy from the back and the cargo door that was opened was being closed slowly.

The fighter jets were the ones that taxied first to the runway since they would be acting as the air escort for the cargo plane. Patrick checked the instrument panel on his Su-35 before he took off from the ground.

He pushed the throttle of that aircraft forward and he started gaining velocity. "200 knots. V-1, rotate," the jet took off from the ground. Patrick's jet was immediately followed by Lynn's jet from behind.

They flew in a circle on that abandoned airfield while waiting for the C-5 to take off from the ground. The C-5 got out of the hangar slowly with its giant body. The plane moved slowly on the runway as it gained speed. The plane was so massive that some of them had believed that it couldn't fly, but it was the beauty of engineering, the plane took off from the ground and started flying in the west direction.

Patrick: "This is your flight escort speaking. We'll be arriving at the VLFS in twelve hours. Please enjoy the ride and buckle up."

The convoy of aircraft flew away from that abandoned airfield in a formation. They were heading straight to the ocean since there wasn't any refueling required for those planes since the fuel was counted in the PDA.

[87% of fuel remaining]

'This should last for six times going around the earth with afterburner.' Patrick looked at the fuel panel on his Su-35. The time zone in their destination was way earlier than their time. They would arrive in the morning although they had flown for hours.

"Nathan, what's VLFS?" Patrick asked.

"It's a very large floating structure. Basically, an oil rig with a huge runway albeit the oil rig doesn't exist." Nathan stopped the communication.

The planes flew across the blue sky, leaving the dreaded country behind them. The contractors started a new book on their journey. They would start working as a PMC now.
