By the time the bar manager arrived, the box was in disarray and he looked at the men who had fallen to the ground. They seemed to be badly hurt.
And Cen Muqi had covered Ji Nai-tang with his coat then reached out and picked the person. The manager in charge asked, “President Cen, what is going on here?”
Cen Muqi didn’t bother to speak and was ready to leave. The manager in charge said with some embarrassment: “These are all President Fenqqi Yao’s people. I’m afraid this is not easy to explain.”
“You don’t have to worry. Just send them directly to the hospital. The rest will be handled well.”
“Oh, okay. I’m relieved to hear this from you.”
In order to prevent too many people from watching and making things big, he went directly to the back door with Ji Nai-tang lying in his arms.
Although knowing that he should close his eyes and pretend to be weak, but he still couldn’t help staring at Cen Muqi’s jaw.
The driver who had long received the news drove the car to the back door and waited.
“Go to the nearest hospital.”
“Yes.”
As soon as the car drove out, Ji Nai-tang who was resting in Cen Muqi’s arms said, “I’m not going to the hospital.”
Cen Muqi’s eyebrows twisted. “You are badly hurt. You must go to the hospital to deal with the wound.”
“Not going to the hospital.” Although Ji Nai-tang’s voice was light, it was very firm. Cen Muqi looked down at him for a while before he couldn’t help but say to the driver. “Go back to the place.”
Cen Muqi took Ji Nai-tang back to an apartment in the city center and called the family doctor to handle the wound and lose his liquid.
“Was this a fight or was there a robbery? Why are you hurt like this?” The doctor could not help but ask, but Ji Nai-tang who was lying in the bed didn’t answer so he didn’t continue to ask anymore questions.
However he was a little surprised. He looked as if he were in his early twenties. There were a few cuts on his arm that looked like knife wounds but he didn’t even groan when he was dealing with them.
“Very few young people can deal with the pain.”
Ji Nai-tang raised his eyes and looked a little indifferent. In fact, he wasn’t in pain. Of course these injuries hurt very much. He was just used to it for a long time. The number of people who had hurt him were plenty and naturally he got used to it.
After all he had endured all kinds of pain since he was a child.
When the doctor looked at his expression and wanted to say something else the door was pushed open. Cen Muqi who had changed his clothes came in and asked, “How is he?”
“The injury is quite serious but fortunately it has not hurt the key points. Take a good rest and recuperate for a while. The wound should be changed regularly.”
Cen Muqi nodded. He himself had just suffered a little injury, but it didn’t matter if it was all skin trauma. He went to the bed and reached for Ji Nai-tang’s forehead which seemed to be burning a little. “How do you feel yourself? Is there anything wrong somewhere?”
Ji Nai-tang blinked and groaned with tears in his red eyes. “The whole body hurts and the pain is very severe.”
Cen Muqi sighed and comforted: “It will become better when the medicine works.”
Ji Nai-tang sighed low then gently rubbed his face in the palm of Cen Muqi’s hand. Cen Muqi’s look became soft then he turned his head to ask the doctor: “Can’t he use a painkiller in this case?”
The doctor opened his mouth with a sullen look. He really didn’t understand. How was this the same person who didn’t groan as if he didn’t feel any pain just now the same as the person crying with red eyes now?!
