Name:Pokemon Pearl Author:Marc0702
By early morning, Ash and his parents are out fishing at the river. Red was at home cleaning the living room. Rico was at his home holding his brother's cap whilst staring down to it, thinking, "Big brother, I'm now a Pokémon trainer. This is for you, not just to me. I hoped you'll be proud of me. I loved you no matter what happens, even to the point of death." He then wore it in honor of him, grabbed his Pokédex, and left his bedroom and outside to the world. But that separation will be ended when one revelation from his brother will once again bind the Cruz family more.

Then, at the river in the outskirts of Pallet Town, while they were fishing for Water-type Pokémon, they came across an unconscious young man floating on the river with streams blowing to the direction of a riverside. Upon seeing it, Ash was alerted, telling his parents, "Mom, dad, someone's drowned! We have to help him!" In a quick response, Martin and Delia put aside their fishing rods and helped their son get the youngster out of the river and on solid ground.

"Quickly, Ash, use CPR!" Martin ordered. Ash then opened the youngster's mouth, checked his breathe, and pushed his ċhėst in an attempt to expell any water stuck in his lungs. It did, expelling the water out of the youngster's lungs and he is now coughing repeatedly in awakening.

"Hey, sir, are you okay?" Ash asked him. His Pikachu then responded with asking. But the youngster got unconscious again, prompting the family to take him home.

Later at Ash's house, the youngster woke up again, only to find out that he was on a sofa at Ash's house. Ash and his family are at beside him with a glass of water and a damp cloth.

"Are you okay, kid?" Ash asked him in worry. His Pikachu then responded in worry.

"Yeah, and who are you?" Delia added a question.

"Uh, yes, I'm fine," the youngster calmly answered, "and I'm Jonathan Sayor Algavas Cruz." This stuns Ash and the others as if there's another related Cruz family member. Jonathan's clothes are soaking wet but drying to damp due to the humidity and air temperature. His hair was almost messed up thanks to being soak up in water.

"Cruz, eh?" Ash responded. Jonathan then got up and stand up.

"Woah, what are you doing?" Martin asked him in worry.

"You're not fully recovered yet," Red added a reminder, "You needed some more rest here."

"I have to find my family," Jonathan seriously replied while eating some food on the table.

. "Okay," Ash responded in puzzling, "then who's your family?" His Pikachu then responded in asking.

"If I remember correctly," Jonathan replied while thinking, "my parents are Lucas Cruz and Rosario Algavas; also, I had a younger brother named Rico Titus." This alerts everyone, with Ash giving him some information, "What? That's your family? Well, I seen a family like that just here in Pallet Town. And plus, Rico is my friend." This new information stuns Jonathan a lot, causing him to drop the spoon he was holding.

"What?" he responded in shock, "They're just here?"

"Well, uh..." Ash replied while scratching his head a bit; but his sentence was cut off when Jonathan dashed out of the house along with his backpack. Ash and others couldn't help but watch him running in the streets at their front door.

At Rico's house, Rosario was cleaning the dining room when Jonathan showed up at her front door. And upon opening the door to see who was knocking, Rosario gasped at Jonathan's looks in surprise. She then remembered him when he was young. After recalling, she hugged him in embrace.

"J... Jonathan, where have you been?" she asked him in worry and desperate.

"Mom, i-is that you?" Jonathan responded back while shedding some tears.

"Yes, it's me," Rosario replied, "It's me, sweetie."

"Oh, mom, I'm...I'm home," Jonathan replied in emotion. Rosario then bring Jonathan in, and then shut the door gently.

At the dining room, Jonathan was eating breakfast Rosario prepared for him. His backpack and his Poké Balls are on the coffee table.

"You know," Rosario gave him great news, "Rico became a Pokémon trainer and had already had three Pokémon."

"What? Really?" Jonathan replied in stunning.

"Yup," Rosario happily replied, "and his Riolu is already a Lucario."

"What the..." Jonathan responded back. Then in calming, "That's so amazing. Is that his first Pokémon?" Rosario then nodded blissfully to say yes.

"Wow, that's cool, mom," Jonathan replied while standing up and clenching his fist in excitement, "After this, I'm going to see him. Where's is he now?"

"Oh, he's in the forest east of this town," Rosario replied.

Later after breakfast, Jonathan took a shower and changed clothes. Luckily, his parents didn't give away or donate his possessions due to emotions and their belied that he'll be coming back. And as he went to the front door while wearing his Pokébelt, Rosario came to him and said, "Your little brother will be so happy to see you."

"Thanks, mom," Jonathan replied brightly, "Okay then, bye, see you later;" he then left the house and towards east. Rosario then observed him from the doorway in pity happiness. This will reunite the family once more.
