72 Chapter 68 battling lucy and surprise

After Walking for a few days including training Skorupi and Murkrow as they both have a lot of potential in battling, while having some of my older Pokémon to train them as they first need to work on their bodies. As we both call out our Pokémon as I decided with Baltoy and Lucy calls out to my great surprise Shuckle. As she starts with toxic as I use it to my advantage letting him to get hit, then to counter with guard split lowering her Pokemons defense. As she wasn't expecting me to start with as she calls for stone edge as I have Baltoy use pyshcic to put Shuckle in the way of the move and take it instead of him, then to continue with ice beam trying to freeze his opponent. As Lucy sees her Pokemon in a block of ice she calls for gyro ball as the block starts to vibrate until it breaks apart, revealing her Pokemon hurt, during all this Baltoy is slowing getting hurt from toxic as it is intensifying I decide it is time as I call facade that gets powered up thanks to his condition. When it hits causing the ground to shake and dust to stir blocking our view, when it clears I can see Baltoy floating around and Shuckle knocked out. As Baltoy is still Poisoned I tell him to use refresh to get rid of the staus affect.

Holly "Shuckle is unable to continue, Queen Lucy is down to 2 while challanger is still at 3"

Kash "I always have a way to deal with the strong defense, it just happens that Baltoy is one of the best at dealing with them and able to counter their unique stratedgies due to his unique origin"

Lucy "I though I would have you on this one, it was a good battle though closer then I thought" as she returns her Pokemon and pouts a little making her look cute

As I decide to recall Baltoy and call out Creek as he should be good for the next 2 matches, as Lucy calls out Milotic looking a little worried as she knows what my Pokemon are capable of in battling. As I let her have the first move as she gladly takes as she starts with scald, sending boiling water at Creek who thinks of it as a nice bath, while I tell him to charge through the move and use thunder fang. When he gets close, Lucy calls for Milotic to use aqua tail and fling herself out of the way deciding to keep Creek at a distence making this a nice battle to me making me use sandstorm. As he creates a raging sandstrom both hindering his opponents moves and strengthening himself, as I see Lucy at a little of a loss making me realise that she had plan for Milotic probably to use rain dance if I ever use sandstorm, thankfully Creek can overpower most weather conditions. As I use earthquake to make use of the space she is giving, as Lucy tries with hydro pump but the attacks depleated in the sandstorm as she takes damage from earthquake. Deciding changing the plan she tells her Milotic to move in and try point blank range scaldings, as I naturally agree to as I tell Creek when they meet to use a mix of Iron head and thunder fang. As they fight, both sides take alot of damage due to the prolonged battle and giving no more space in the sandstorm when I tell him to finish it with a powered up thunder fang. When the sandstorm clears I see Creek standing but showing that he has been burned affecting his attacking power as well slowly hurting him, while Lucy's Milotic is knocked out on the floor.

Holly " Milotic is unable to continue, Queen Lucy is down to her last Pokemon" as I see Lucy sulking a little

Kash "Cheer up you know how Creek is like, as well I never told you his sandstrom is hard to beat"

Lucy "How did you get guess, I though with rain dance and recover we could have out prolonged you in this battle"

As she calls out her last Pokemon Seviper, knowing that this is a difficult match for her. I call out earthqauke at the beginning as I dont want another long battle that could make Creek lose due to being burned. As she tries with x-scissors a move I told her to train, as she is still a little shaken from the earthquake from earlier, Seviper misses the mark and falls into a counter brick break that sends it flying while in mid air Lucy tells her Pokemon to make use of her body as a spring to brace for the impact. As it works mitigating most of the damage she would have taken along with Creek being with burned, Lucy uses the spring to send her Pokemon back with poison tail while I tell Creek to intercerpt with Iron head as they collide Creek sends Seviper to the ground. As both Pokemon are on their last legs I know its going to end in the next attack, I tell Creek to use flamethrower on his dragon claws made possible with all the training with Cinder, seing this Lucy calls for Pokemon to use flame thower then combines it with sludge bomb making it stronger. As Creek charges forward takeing the hits when he reaches Seviper and smashes him towards the wall at high speed, as he hits the walls causes him to be knocked out giving him no time to prepare.

Holly "The winner of the frontier battle with Queen Lucy is the challanger Kash" as Lucy walks to me and gives me a badge

Lucy "Here is the Luck symbol, proof of winning in the battle Pike. That was the fun battle I was looking for from you, tomorrow I have the gift for you for your birthday so be prepared." as I smile and promise her looking forward to it.

next day

As I meet Lucy in front of the battle Pike with Cinder she tells me to follow her as she heads into the forrest while we talk for a while, when we finnally reach a small creek and I see a small hut here making me wonder.

Lucy "Sometimes I just need to get away so I built this place to be with nature and my Pokemon." as she releases all her Pokemon as they seem use to the place where they go to where ever they like, as I see Vulpix jump into her arms. Making me let out all of my Pokemon, at first htey are surprised but soon find places that they like and get relaxed in the calm enviroment. "I was thinking this would be a great place to have a picnic for today your birthday."

Kash "Thank you very much this means alot, I know my aunt must have told you how I usually stay in the mountains or the forest during this time for some alone time." as I hug her and give her a passionate kiss making her dazed while she takes out her Picnic items along with Pokemon food as I see Cinder just looking and smirking at me. As we eat and talk, after we swim for a little we just decide to lay down and enjoy the stars. When Lucy gets up and heads inside the hut, when I feel her open the door and let her surprise me so I close my eyes
