[What is the reason for the administrator to create the system and Primordial dimensions?](Assumption)
The first question was already confusing. Shane was just supposed to assume the right answer, but he had no idea how the points would be awarded.
Was it necessary for him to be closer to the right answer or was just the reasoning he provided be sufficient?
Unsure what to do, Shane simply answered what he thought to be the right answer in addition to providing a lengthy explanation.
In the end, his answer could be summarized as, 'The administrator's reason for creating the Primordial dimensions and the system is to strengthen the foundation of certain races, and to enable them in building a perfect foundation so as to achieve something.'
Even though Shane couldn't be sure of his answer there was something other races that rejected entering the Dimension portal to receive their system awakening didn't have!
According to the information Shane had received, the Primordial Dimensions were one of the only places where one could receive a perfect purification manual. Other races might have manuals to create a perfect physical foundation, but not even advanced races had a perfect mana purity!
There might be other factors that contributed in the formation of a perfect foundation, but a perfect mana purity and perfectly refined physique were essential!
After Shane had answered the first questions, there were all possible types of knowledge questions, and to his astonishment, it was not even that difficult to answer most of them!
Because of that, he felt that it wouldn't be a problem for him to pass the exam.
Contrary to his expectations, the knowledge questions were much easier than the questions that demanded his assumption and honesty.
[What would you do if your entire family were to be murdered in front of you?]
[If someone were to demand a part of your soul in exchange for power, what would be your answer to him and why?]
[Do you think evil people are innately bad, or certain events or experiences turn them evil? Explain your answer!]
[Is the existence of an infinitely large planet that devoured an entire universe possible? Why? Why not?]
[What is it that you regret the most? Why?]
[....]
[...]
[..]
[.]
The questions seemed to become more personal as the test progressed further, and it was as if the fluare tower dungeon was testing the dungeon challenger's honesty, behavior, attitude, past, and entire personality.
It felt weird, but he forced himself to answer honestly.
Because of that, Shane felt as if he was revealing his secrets to the dungeon, which was exactly what was expected of him.
All these years, he had been only focused on becoming stronger and improving himself. He had never really taken out some time to think about all kinds of questions that were now staring at him as much as he had to do during the 5th floor's task!
However, it was only one when he stumbled upon one particular question, that he was truly unsure whether to lie or not!
[What is the most special about your entire existence?]
This question was something nobody knew the answer to.
Yet, at the same time, this shouldn't have been the case either.
Someone had to have transported his soul to the dead baby that reinvigorated along with the arrival of his soul.
Shane was still not sure what had happened on that day, but it was obvious that his soul hadn't been strong enough to cause a soul transmigration to a different planet, universe, or wherever Igra was exactly.
According to his knowledge, transmigrating one's soul should only be possible for Godly beings, and even those were unlikely to be able to do something like he had done!
As such, Shane was not sure if it was worth exposing his identity as a transmigrator just to pass the exam.
However, after he thought about it for some time, Shane figured out that exposing himself was not something he should be afraid of.
His past life had been nothing special, and answering honestly would give him a great advantage.
At least, that was how he felt!
Because of this gut feeling, Shane overcame his hesitation and answered truthfully without leaving out anything important.
Yet, what he could have never imagined was that the question about his unique existence was not the most difficult for him to answer!
The most difficult question was also the last one to appear.
'What would happen if the Primordial Dimensions and System were to disappear….soon, and you would know about it beforehand?'
Shane squinted his eyes at that question and re-read it several times before he had imprinted the question in his mind.
Most dungeon challengers had already handed in their exam papers and had been teleported outside the classroom.
The entire exam did not have a time limit, and Shane had more than enough time to think about a proper answer for the last question.
At the same time, he could only bite his lips nervously because something felt off.
"Were to disappear...I would know about it…."
Subconsciously he had blurted out these words, which caused the humanoid robot to warn him with a weak paralyzation.
However, Shane didn't seem to bother too much about that.
Instead, he pondered about the hidden meaning behind the words and if the fluare tower dungeon knew more about everything than Shane and everyone else did.
'Let's say the system would notify everyone about it disappearing in a few months...what would I do?'
He changed the question in his mind, trying to think of the most suitable answer.
'Without the system, I can't establish a perfect foundation, awaken my soul bound world's mana core and choose the occupation I want!! Furthermore, it's not even clear whether we can use the Dimension Portals after that...I guess? Somehow, one would have to establish a connection between different races...our race is not technologically advanced after all!'
Shane was slowly nearing a proper answer, and he wrote down everything he had just thought of. Other than that, he simply mentioned that he would probably purchase a large quantity of space doors to connect with the Elus race and others, in addition to a huge bulk of resources they would need to further advance in every possible path.
There were all kinds of things the human race required and both the system and the Primordial dimensions were exactly what allowed them to receive these things!
Suddenly, out of nowhere, he received a notification, which caused Shane to stiffen, only to sigh in relief on seeing the content.
[System notification! System notification! The [Primordial Tournament] will start in [60D:00H:00M:01S]. Participation form has been released!]
Even though the content was something Shane would have loved to see later, he had somehow expected to see that the system announced its own termination.
A chill ran down his spine, but unlike others who took the questions at face value, Shane thought of them as near future scenarios and his mind worked furiously to read between the lines.
Everything had a meaning, even if it was not planned to be revealed or shown.
Right from the system malfunction to the Great Elven war, everything had provided subtle hints at the possible turn of events in the future.
As such, Shane took the last question about the system and Primordial Dimension's disappearance for real!
This could have already been a warning!
Whether he was exaggerating or not, Shane didn't care about that.
It was the first time, he hoped to misunderstand everything, but somehow, Shane couldn't trust the seemingly nonchalant questions.
In the end, his resolve to finish a perfect foundation further increased, while the time he had given himself to accomplish all of his goals had been drastically reduced!
'I'm still not strong enough...I need to be faster...better...build a greater foundation to allow mankind to live without the Primordial dimensions!!'
