Shane had learned how to avoid certain topics and the same applied to leading the conversation in order to speak about topics that everybody would be comfortable with.
However, he had never been able to use what he learned and it astonished him that it worked better than he had initially expected!
As such, Shane was glad about the last few hours that seemed to fly away in the blink of an eye.
They had even missed the sparrings of other young prodigies, but that was not something Shane was worried about.
The most interesting young prodigies that had been invited were around him!
Both Aisha and Miriam had a mana purity above 90% and each of them had certain abilities nobody else had!
On the other hand, there were also Princess Ilya and Nala who were both foreign races that had a treaty with mankind.
As such, even without the need to try, Shane and his friends attracted the big families' attention.
This had already happened before when Shane had unleashed the Hidden Paradise's stored amount of mana!
In the end, it was just a short revelation and his secrets had yet to be exposed.
Thus, he couldn't help but feel satisfied with today's result.
He had even heard a few big families around him talk about the Astral Artisans emblem that was embedded in their clothes.
Marketing the emblem and his Astral Starlight faction was exactly the reason why he had even come to the Stella mansion, if one were to exclude the fact that he had wanted to meet his aunts and uncles again!
Now Shane had to wait until Igra's mana awakening would be initiated before he could leave if he didn't want to create a bad impression.
Suddenly, a system notification manifested in front of every being on Igra that had awoken the system within them.
[Planet (Igra) will undergo a substantial change! Planet core will receive and awaken its mana heart!
Please be aware that the following days might be chaotic and uncomfortable! Everything that will happen is supposed to be like this!]
Not even half a minute after Shane had read the message, he felt the ground below him violently shake accompanied by thunderous explosions that resounded through the soil.
He had to envelop his ears with mana in order to prevent his eardrums from bursting open as he saw a faint smile appear on Nala's face.
This confused Shane for a moment, only to be thrown away from the chair he had been sitting on as a shockwave manifested out of mana brushed past him.
Followed by the shockwave arrived a minuscule amount of faint, almost imperceptible mana that began to permeate the air.
At that moment, Shane couldn't help but smile too as the explosions that were probably occurring within Igra's world core released one shockwave after the other.
With each new shockwave, the surroundings vibrated more and more, and Shane was glad that the materials used to construct the Stella mansion were of a higher grade!
This caused him to think of the villages, towns, and cities that might be in chaos because of the shockwaves.
"I hope the government has put safety measures in place to protect Igra's citizens from collapsing houses and skyscrapers!" He mumbled.
Suddenly his train of thoughts was diverted to the Astral Starlight faction nurturing grounds that were still under construction.
"Ohhh sh*t!" Shane accidentally exclaimed as he ordered Talia and the others to take a look at the nurturing ground to see whether the frames would overcome the shockwaves or not.
It shouldn't be an issue, but Shane couldn't help but worry for a short moment.
They had paid lots of gold coins after all, and it would be devastating if something were to happen.
Fortunately, his worry seemed to be unfounded and Shane couldn't help but sigh in relief. His expressions confused everyone around him so he shared what he had been worried about.
"You're building a nurturing ground in the Neptua Ladra region? I've always wanted to see the beasts inhabiting the surrounding waters there!" Miriam suddenly exclaimed.
When Shane heard her, he jokingly replied,
"If you want, you can join the Starlight guild and I'll show you the strongest beast on Igra..hahaha."
Everyone understood that Shane was joking, but Miriam seemed to ponder for a moment before replying in all seriousness,
"I'll join the Starlight guild once you defeat me! Then you can show me around the Neptua Ladra region"
Shane, who was sitting on the ground like everyone else couldn't help but look at Miriam with squinted eyes, while Aisha did the same.
"Are you not affiliated with other groups like Aisha is?" Shane asked, not sure whether Miriam was pulling a prank.
"Nope, I never bothered about others and neither did I have to rely on somebody else. Rather, I consider it to be a nuisance to walk around in groups!"
'Does that even make sense?' Shane asked himself as Aisha suddenly intervened,
"Miriam, your words make no sense at all! Why do you want to join the Starlight guild?
It's not like a normal guild, but Shane had already said that his guild is built on trust and the relationships of the guild's members! You won't be able to walk around however you want!! That is the complete opposite of how you are used to living and what you've just said!"
Shane averted his gaze to Aisha who seemed to be enraged as he tilted his head,
"...Eh..Aisha...What is it even to you? Shouldn't I have asked that…?"
Miriam who noticed Aisha's behavior with amusement couldn't help but ask the same question as Shane did, only that she smiled brightly,
"Aishaaa...What is it to you? Can't I do however I please as long as I follow the employment agreement I would have to sign with Shane? So...tell us, why are you being fussy right now?"
"I…Eh...I...MIRIAM! Just do however you please….like always." Aisha couldn't come up with a suitable answer and instead of accepting her loss, she jumped up and fled from the other 8 youths.
Princess Ilya and Nala were clueless as to what had transpired, but based on the awkward gazes that everyone threw at each other, they could tell that it was something interesting.
Yet, Shane couldn't help but look at Aisha's retreating figure as he mumbled,
"What is wrong with her?"
"You don't have to pay any attention to her! Just to me!" Miriam said cheekily as she stood up in order to approach Shane.
'Wasn't she quiet and uninterested in everything only a few hours ago? Why is she so different right now?'
As he saw her walk towards him in a seductive manner, Shane could barely contain his laughter.
Miriam fell over when two shockwaves brushed past her in quick succession, and she clumsily landed in front of him with her nose hitting the ground first.
Shane could almost feel her pain and he helped her to get up before he took out a handkerchief from his spatial ring.
"I don't know whether your prior behavior was your real self or that you're cheeky, but I can tell from the prior incident that you are a nice girl. Just don't force yourself to act seductively.
You look gorgeous, but that looks forced and doesn't suit you!
Furthermore, I don't think you and Aisha have to compete in every field if that's what you were trying to do!"
He was dense in some aspects, but he could roughly guess why Aisha had run away, and the same applied to Miriam's behavior.
She just wanted to be better than Aisha! But, unfortunately, that didn't work as planned, at least, in her latest effort to woo Shane.
Yet, instead of feeling embarrassed because of that, Miriam and the others couldn't digest how easily Shane praised Miriam's looks.
He didn't even bat an eyelid as he had said so.
This caused Jack to wonder whether Shane was a natural playboy or if he was genuine with everything he had said!
Meanwhile, Miriam didn't take his compliments seriously because she had heard them way too often.
Instead, her being praised as gorgeous had never sounded so much like an insult as it did today.
She was not able to explain why but after her not-so-elegant fall, every praise sounded more like an insult.
As such, she used the handkerchief to hide from Shane, before she hurriedly stood up in order to rush after Aisha, while saying.
"You've got my contact details, right? Message me when you're ready to fight me! I never break my word!"
Only a moment later she disappeared within the crowd.
Scratching the back of his head, Shane felt weird, while the surrounding mana that was faint and untraceable had begun to thicken.
"The mana awakening was….somewhat boring!"
"If you had been inside the mana core, or able to split your soul from your physical body, it would have been more interesting to observe everything up close!"
Nala blabbered before her eyes widened as she covered her mouth with one hand.
